Retro 2012 pic, when I let my beard and stash go wild like weeds. Weird, it’s 3 years ago but I look older. The bigger you grow that beard, I guess, the bigger also the gray.
I have achieved detente with my beard now. I have had it long enough that I no longer feel the need to maximize and maximize, bigger and bigger like I did at first. I grew it even bigger than this pic, even.
Nowadays I have reached a nice compromise between facial hair and eating. I will never be without a beard, but at the same time I will be able to enjoy my food without choking on hair.
Life: it’s about balance.

I’m not sure how I feel about Merle’s very obvious politics, but I know I how I feel about Merle. I fucking LOVE him! I been all about Merle all summer long. Lookit him. He’s gawjuss.

This is the dichotomy: speech and hearing. One is active the other passive. Why should speech, the active, be curtailed in favor of the passive?
That was a rhetorical question and it could just as well be asked the other way.

I have a friend who says that of ALL speech HATE speech should be the most protected. I’m not sure I agree with him, but he makes a valid point.
It’s the speech most likely to be silenced….and is that REALLY the road we want to go down?
The only way you can treat people with respect, is speak to them honestly. Really, do you think ass-kissing is the answer.
Let’s change politically correct to “treat people with respect”. Who get’s to decide what “respect” is? You? The guy who came up with the slogan? Ok, seems fair. What about “treat”. Define “treat”.

This is from the other day, I think, when I cussed at feminism.
First of all, I want people to think. Even about feminism, which is such a given intellectual concept that I think those who differ from it will be treated as heretics, and they are (I know I am, for a fact). Thank God you clowns don’t have the power to burn at the stake those who dare to think differently than you.
Yet.
People are free. They can disagree with you. They can say things that are offensive or uncomfortable to you. How you feel about it all doesn’t matter one whit.
When will you dipshits get it? You live in a FREE society.
