How have you flexed new muscle or gotten out of your comfort zone this year… and – most importantly – how will you parlay it into 2021?
There is an extra layer of humanity that has been added to #sales in 2020.
Matthew Berra and Carson V. Heady discuss.
How have you flexed new muscle or gotten out of your comfort zone this year… and – most importantly – how will you parlay it into 2021?
#Sellers are unfortunately often known for calling when attempting to sell something and throwing up solutions in hopes something sticks.
We have to buck this trend by making genuine investments in relationships.
Customers are people. The more we do to help them win by adding value, the more we stand apart from that common misperception of sellers.
2020 has shaken everyone’s comfort zone. Forming genuine relationships, making non-sales calls, expressing hopes for their well-being and enjoyment of holidays: these things make a lot of difference when you’re trying to form a long-lasting collaboration with anyone.
Heading into a new year is a great time to look at new #relationships you should create – in business, in career, in your personal life.
Which ones should you invest in?Take that step back and infuse the human element into everything you’re doing.

How can #salespeople become top 1% sellers?
How can #salespeople become top 1% sellers?
Incredible former Google and Microsoft leader Zeeshan Hafeez joins Carson V. Heady for a special discussion.
#Sales is about #relationships – creating and growing them – and leveraging knowledge and stories to #influence.
Amplify the scope of your audience. Understand all of the value you can deliver – and tell the story of what’s possible.
Understand the conversations your clients want to have and make them happen. Communicate and be responsive.
#Success requires consistent execution of process and willingness to adapt. The difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t is merely the willingness to do whatever it takes.
Just like the stock market, you need a diversified portfolio of contacts, methods of engagement and you have to invest consistently over time. If you do, you are guaranteed success.
The right people following the right process = results. Every time.

Recognize Others and Call Out GREATNESS!
CALL OUT GREATNESS!!!
Positivity is infectious.
It literally takes seconds to send someone a note telling them they sent a great e-mail, did a great job or that you appreciate them. But that investment of seconds yields a substantial return on recognition.
Make someone’s day today and thank them for inspiring you, helping you or for doing something great.

Thoughts on Corinthians 12 25-27, Carson Heady
From Corinthians 12: 25-27
“So that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
If you have a disagreement or you see or hear an opinion you vehemently disagree with from another member of society, know that there is hurt and pain and – rather than to be quick to judge or dismiss – try hard to seek to understand.
The same goes for people you live and work with – and rejoicing and being rejoiced.
Neither joy nor suffering should occur alone. No win is a solo one. No loss should be endured by one – we should be there for everyone we can when we can.
This is why – as leaders and as humans – we should be good to each other and do everything we can to understand the plights of others.
Don’t assume they are not coming from a good or honorable place.

How Can 1 Person Impact Company Culture?
How can 1 person impact #company #culture?
We are but ONE person. 1 – The loneliest number, right?
But everyone you emulate and admire is as well.
First, be a role model. No matter your title, you can live admirably and professionally, provide feedback respectfully and tactfully, and gain consensus. Like Maximus says in Gladiator: “Win the crowd.”
Be the #change you want to see.
Seek out others with whom you either share beliefs or #influencers who are open to feedback.
Fuel #engagement. Proactively seek out opinions and empower others to provide perspective. Ensure people feel safe providing their opinion.
If you are an individual contributor, perhaps you start a “players only” type of rhythm. If you are a leader, form a betterment committee that can meet independently and provide you suggestions.
Whatever you do, align with either what the company mission statement is in a unique way, or build momentum through relationships and collective synergies as you forge your mark on culture.
