Leverage your existing #network for introductions. If you need to expand your contacts, use social sites like #LinkedIn to find influencers.

Spend any down time investing in yourself: learning, training, reading, development of new skills and connecting with others.

And if you are in a fortunate spot, look for ways to actively support your network.
