bellicose in action

Well, I have made it to the second letter! So far so good. It’s a gorgeous spring day though and the yard is decorated with a murky coating of winter surprises the melting snow revealed. I shoveled all the old ashes out of my burn pit already, that old washer drum is ready for more fiery action this summer!

B is for bellicose.

The lowdown.

According to vocabulary.com alacrity means this:

Someone with alacrity shows cheerful willingness and eager behavior, like a kid whose mother has told him he can buy anything in a candy store. While the noun alacrity normally refers to someone’s peppy behavior, it can also describe a certain mood or tempo of a music...

I hate that.

I want there to be gold.

So I am going to try to spark a flame on soaked logs and get a camp fire blazing with ideas.

Got an idea. Probably silly, but it will at least expand my vocabulary. Twice a week, I am g...

I have a Kindle that’s full to bursting, and I have the Kindle app installed on my phone, tablet, and laptop. Needless to say,...

Gotta brag

This actually happened… finally! After 13 years.

My dissertation was “THE EXPERIENCE OF GROWING UP IN A FAMILY IN WHICH A PARENT HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH COMBAT PTSD”

Becoming a doctor? Check that off my bucket list. What’s next? Keep learning. Keep growing as a human. Keep writing.

Enough said.
