Flying Pigs & Witches is Going on Sale
Hey there everyone. The heat wave has passed through the pacific northwest. My place is no longer an oven. My computer does not feel like its going to catch on fire. And being still unemployed, I am back at work on my book projects hoping I can make some cash until I'm able to snag a job. I haven't too successful so far, but I am really trying and that must be worth something.
So what do I have to share? I am currently working on a getting a new short story collection out. I finally revised enough of short stories to package together in a collection that is going to be called Meteors & Monsters. But I still need to format it and finalize the cover at the moment. So until then, I wanted to run an promotion on the first short story collection, Flying Pigs & Witches for $0.99. I will post the synopsis down below.
A woman finds a fallen science utopia carries dark secrets as she searches for her husband. A gun slinging Alice is looking for a way out of a dark Wonderland. A cashier must take the late shift in a haunted retail store. Siblings encounter an evil witch in the woods. A teenager learns his uncle is a wizard. A little girl races into another world to get back her favorite socks. A runaway becomes cursed and must find a way to stop it before she loses all her memory. An isolated teen falls in love with a odd girl who fears water. This is a collection of eight short stories that stretch across the genres horror, fantasy, and science fiction.
This collection includes:
-The Island
-Late Shift at Pennies
-Socks and Fluffle Puffs
-Somewhere Beyond the Sea
-My Name Is...
-Alice: Winter's Story
-Secrets of Charles Mahogany
-Vanity
The Kindle ebook is for sale for $.99 from August 4th to August 9th. It is also free if you are a Kindle Unlimited number. You can purchase and download at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KREO7C0
Beyond that the audio story project is continuing. This week it is on third part of The Abyss. The post is posted down below.

And remember if you like these things, there are a few ways to support:
1) By making a small donation thru Patreon @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921
2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZN72RQQ
3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages. There is pay for every page read according to Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.
And that is what I have this week. I will try to get Meteors and Monsters out next week. But I am kinda on call for freelance geologist for wild fire sites, and if I get a call everything will be on hold for a couple weeks. I have to take it to make some money, because there is not much else out there now. I hope anyone following this blog understands that. And with that said, I hope everyone has a good week. Please stay safe out there.

A Bunch of Updates and Old Book Reviews
Hey everyone! There's not a lot to announce this week. I have been working on a few things. A fantasy scifi Ordinary World has been submitted to the online writing community Scribophile for reviews. So that is next up for editing and publication. I am also revising Alice: Stone's Story and making an audio version of it in the process. That should coming to Kindle Unlimited in the future. And speaking of Alice, I do have a third one in the works. This one focusing on an Alice from South Africa. But that is the ways off though. But nothing is ready to really share yet.
Also there will be no promotion this week. Its going to be near 100 everyday this week and I live in an attic apartment with no air conditioning. And my computer feels like its going to catch fire in those conditions. So because I can't go online to promote the free book like I would like, I will be skipping this week.
Here's this week audio chunk.

Hey everyone. I wanted to send out a blog to let everyone know that there is a new free book promotion. The story this time around is a ghost story called Late Shift at Pennies. I'll post the synopsis down below.
It is no mystery that the Pennies retail story is haunted. Ghosts act as pests for all employees of the store. But an unlucky Pennies employee named Ian is about to discover the ghost's true motives.
This is will be Free from July 17th to July 19th. It's available in Kindle format at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C7X0IKY
And that's what I have to share for today. I hope you all have a good weekend. Stay safe out there everyone!

Meteor City is Now Out!
Hey everyone. There is some exciting news this week. Meteor City is done and is out in the wild. It should have been out a lot sooner. But it was a little tough to polish up for release, and took a long time do because of a lack of motivation. This is because its one of the darker stories I ever wrote, and the world just really sucks right now. After losing my job in a collapsing economy in a COVID-19 hot spot when civil unrest and corruption is everywhere, I did not want to continue to polish a story about a journalist in a quarantined city where a horrific pandemic mutates individuals, but I was determined to finish it. Despite the fantastical nature of the horror story, it hit really close to home, and I had to take many breaks as I polished it. It literally was nearly finished mid February before the world went insane. That is how long this took. And it might be my last horror story for a while. Months ago I did originally want to proceed and work on On All The Good Times in Boston after this, but that is a fantasy horror about the apocalypse. But I don't want to think about the end of the world and really want to focus on more light hearted stuff as I need to remove my focus on anything that parallels to this craziness happening in the world right now. But if you're handling the world better than I am, feel free to check it out. I will post the synopsis down below.
"Decades ago, a meteor shower hit a metropolis shattering homes and lives of many. With the meteors, the storm also brought a deadly disease that tortures and mutate those infected. As it spread, the walls were put up around the city to quarantine it from the rest of the world. And as the years went on the city, now known as Meteor City, was ignored and willfully forgotten by the United States. But it somehow continued to thrive.
Jo is a photographer within the walls of Meteor City. She goes through the dirt and muck to get shots for the front page of the local paper. She specializes in shots of the most horribly mangled infected in the city. She's brash, spunky, and her luck has run out. After cashing in on shots of an infected serial killer known as the Bloody Man, her home in broken into by a new meteorite afflicted individual. It’s a fight she barely survives, but not all in one piece as she becomes infected herself. Hoping the doctors can stop her terrible fate, her world start falling apart around her. Kidnappings are happening over the city, and she may have to risk everything to save someone she loves."
Its available in ebook for $.99 or Free through Kindle Unlimited @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CKB5GL7
And that is the biggest news this week. And there will be more to fun stuff to share soon. Because let's honest. What else am I going to do in quarantine? Hope all of you are safe and well.

Lonesome Town is Free for a Limited Time!
There is not a lot to share this week. I have been tending to my very ill kitty lately. And with the holidays in the mix, I did not have much time. But I did want to continue the free promotions to get more eyes on my short stories. So tonight, I thought it would be good to set up a new free book promotion. This time around it is on the scifi short story Lonesome Town. The synopsis is down below,
"When Kaylee dumped Jake she didn't know what he would do. She didn't know he would mope around in self pity and then take off to the mythical place called Lonesome Town, where broken hearts can be mended. But as Kaylee becomes increasingly worried about her friend she goes to find him. In her journey she learns Lonesome Town is a very sinister place that preys on its customers."
This ebook short story is free from July 7th to July 11th. You can get your copy @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHC789L
With that said, this all that I have to say for now. I'm hard at work getting some new stuff out this week. So the next post should be a little more exciting. Have a great week everyone!

Socks & Fluffle Puffs is Free for a Short Time Starting Tuesday!
Hey there everyone. Just wanted to post some updates. Not a lot big stuff to announce. Just more of the same. Some more audio story stuff and another promotion. New stuff is still a ways off at the moment. The final edits is taking way longer than I expected. But let's get started with the stuff for this week.
First of all, the free short story promotion returns. This time around, I decided to have it on the short story Socks and Fluffle Puffs. Its light hearted cute little read, which might be a nice little distraction to the craziness of the world right now. I will post the synopsis down below.
"The socks are hideous. They are striped purple and green, stained, and have at least a dozen holes that have been repaired over the months. But seven year old Lori loves them. She's obsessed with them. One day her mother is able to wrangle them from the little girl to have them washed. But Lori is shocked when they vanish in the dryer. She climbs into the dryer to find clues left behind by the sock thieves, but tumbles out the other side into another world. It is a world of lost socks and ferocious Fluffle Puffs."
This short will be free from June 30th to July 4th. Its available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RPLH1WP
Also in the last couple of weeks part 6 and 7 were posted on Youtube. The link to the most recent one will be posted down below.
The Broken Princess Part 7 can be found at https://youtu.be/MfnLdSACMng
And remember if you like these things, there are a few ways to support:
1) By making a small donation thru Patreon @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921
2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YK6CYGT
3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages.
There is pay for every page read according Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.
And that is all that I have to say this week. I'll post again when I have more to share! Have a good week everyone!

My Name Is... Will Be This Week's Promotion
Hey everyone, its another update. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to share. My elderly kitty Ollie became very ill and I've been taking him to the vet off and on throughout the week. The news I got is bad, but I'm going to do the best I can to keep him happy with medication in his final days, or months, or however long it will be because I like that cat. So that has been my week. I've been occupied trying to save a pet.
But one thing is that I have done though is set up another promotion. Since I started these things, it has brought more eyes on my work which is something I always struggled with. Even though I'm not selling anything now, in the long run this may super valuable. So I'm continuing this for the time being.
This week the short story on promotion is a fantasy tale called My Name Is.... I'll post the synopsis below.
"My name is Amber. I don't remember much else because I've been forgetting so much lately. But I do remember I am a girl and this old witch has turned me into a crow. And I know I must find a way to break this curse before I forget everything entirely."
This short story will be free from June 16th to June 20th. The short story is available as an ebook @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KSRUTCS
Beyond that the audio story project is still continuing. And this week and it is part 5 of The Last Witch story, The Broken Princess. I'll post a link below.

2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YK6CYGT
3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages.
There is pay for every page read according Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.
And that is all I have to share today. I hope next week I will have more. This week last week I was bit preoccupied to say the least. But I hope you all have a great week. Hope to have more fun stuff soon.

The Midnight Special: Bishop is on Kindle Unlimited & The Island is Free
Hey everyone! I have some news to share. In the last week, I got a few things accomplished.
First of all, The Midnight Special: Bishop has been revised and has been enrolled into Kindle Unlimited. So if you if you are a member, then you can read it for free. What is it about? I'll post the synopsis below:
"Life in a traveling side show can be complicated one. Especially when every member has some sort of supernatural baggage. Then lastly, I'm deciding to continue the free book promotions. This week from June 9th to June 13th, the scifi story, The Island is going to be free. I will post the synopsis down below.
"In the middle of the second world war, scientists start vanishing all over the world. When Lily's husband is snatched away, she teams up with her brother in law to unravel what is happening to all the world's geniuses. After a year of traveling the world looking for clues, they are led to a mystery island in the eye of a never ending storm. A place that holds more danger than they ever expected."

Another Short is Going To Be Free This Week
Hey there everyone. Recently I have been had more time than ever to organize and continue my way too big book hobby. And last week, for the first time ever I tried one of Amazon's promotion program and allowed The Secrets of Charles Mahogany to be free for 5 days last week. And I've look at the numbers and the short got noticed by a few people, and it may be in my favor to continue this promotion idea. I am the worst person at marketing, so this might be very useful tool for me. So this upcoming week, I am going to do it again, starting June 2nd with the horror short Vanity. I will post the synopsis below.
Two siblings, Liz and Denny are on a long drive home from college. But when they take a short cut on the back roads through the woods, they have an unexpected accident. With the car damaged, they find themselves on foot walking through the woods. To their surprise, they stumble across a enormous mansion in the middle of the woods. Despite the oddity of it being there, they rush to the door in hopes to find warmth, shelter, and a working phone to call for help. Yet as they enter, the place is far from welcoming, and the secrets the residents hold may kill them two of them before the night is over with.
From June 2nd to June 6th, this short will be free @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014VTP4QK
And that is all I have to announce now. I hope you all have a great week.

The Secrets of Charles Mahogany is Free & Other News
Hey everyone! I just wanted to send out some updates, and this time around it’s a little more exciting than the last update. So what has been happening? A couple new things were thrown out into the wilds of the internet.
First of all, I decided to gather The Last Witch short stories into an entire collection. I should have done this sooner. But I was playing with the idea of possibly continuing Brian’s journey with a new episodic arc or writing a spin off short following the side character Becca. I wanted to include these sequel tales in these stories in the collection. But I cannot decide what to do with a possible future adventure for Brian, and Becca’s tale has been brainstormed with hours of indecisiveness as well. So since it seems as though possible sequels are a long way off I just pulled the collection together. The synopsis is down below.
It all began as simple delivery to the king in a war torn land for father and son, Fran and Brian. The two take a short cut through the monster filled Badlands to avoid the battlefields. If they stayed to the road, all would be well. But things do not go as planned. They fall head first in a world of monsters, gods, and witches. Brian becomes cursed. They learn the King wants a god of chaos as a weapon and soon become fugitives trapped in a series a quests they never asked for.
This collection is available in ebook for $3.99 or free is you’re a Kindle Unlimited member.

Second, starting May 26th I am starting a free story promotion. From Tuesday to Saturday this week, the fantasy short The Secrets of Charles Mahogany will be free. The synopsis is listed down below.
Adam has always been unlucky. A young man who became an orphan at the age of fifteen. A fire took his family from him and forced him to live under the care of his uncle Charles Mahogany. Yet despite the strict rules of the old man, Adam meddles into the forbidden areas of the household. There Adam finds an extraordinary secret that he can’t leave alone.

Beyond that I have been working hard on revising some stories with the audio edit process. The Midnight Special: Bishop, Alice Stone, and lastly Meteor City are all being reviewed. Yes. I changed my mind about Meteor City. I was going to hold off because the Covid 19 crisis, but realized it is so much more fantastical than what is happening in real life that I might have just been over reacting. So the revised versions of Bishop and Alice Stone will be coming soon. And the new story Meteor City will be published in the near future as well. So fun stuff is coming soon.
Anyways, those are my goals for now. I hope to ramp up on getting everything revised as well as getting new stuff out for the time being. And unlike the last few months, when I become employed again I will hopefully have a less toxic work environment and an actual work like balance again so I can keep some kind a pace with this big project of mine. Hope all of you are staying safe and well and that you all have a great week!
