Best way to watch GHOST ADVENTURES (you know, that GHOST HUNTERS rip-off on the Travel Channel): MUTE. The lead guy's a bit much for me, but he's got great arms. One Good Thing

I went on a walk this morning with my dog, Alex. Of course, "walk" to Alex means we start off together but she will eventually go off on her own in the woods and then head back to the car port and lie down. As we were walking I loved how the morning sun seemed to light up every leaf in the narrow patch of woods by the house. One Good Thing

Received a late birthday gift today from my agent and good friend Keith. He sent me three books: "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson, "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak, and "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. I've hit the jackpot!...or The Jackpot was thrust upon me. Either way, it's a good thing.

One Good Thing

A week before my graduate classes began at Sydney University in Oz, my roommates, Sarah and Jen and I, went around to the various clubs and organizations on the lawn and signed up for what interested us. We, of course, headed first for the Wine Society. We got nifty t-shirts for signing up. This morning I pulled the ol' Wine Society t-shirt out and slipped it on. I love the way it fits my chest...still. And that's my Good Thing of the day.
