Galley McBeal

I got the galley copy of the reprint of my very first book THE REST IS ILLUSION today. It's being released by Young Offenders Media, and Salvatore Sapienza was asked to write a foreword for it. Well, after reading that foreword, I am so incredibly touched. I just thought I'd let y'all know that. Not that I thought it wasn't going to be a great foreword, but I did NOT expect to get a lump in my throat from reading his words.

The ALA listed the 100 Most Challenged Books from 2000-2009 HERE. I have a few questions about this list:

How many have you read?

How ridiculous are many of these choices?

How much do you want to bet that many of the challengers are sexually repressed, and haven't read word one of the book or books they bitched about?

How do I go about getting on this list?

Shaking in My Boots

What's the dealio with all of these earthquakes and volcanoes lately? Iceland, Chile, Haiti, China, Australia, Utah, etc. Yellowstone is the largest volcano in the world, and if the theory that earthquakes sets off volcanoes is true...Well, we might all be fucked. As in "mass extinction" fucked. So, on this Earth Day I just want to say to Mother Earth, I loooove you! Please don't spew don't get all grumbly and spew lava on my ass. Pleeeease!!
