I have been needing a new shelf for my jeans for some time now. Some people use a chest of drawers for their clothes, some use milk crates, some use the floor. I use shelves and book cases. The one I have - or had - is falling all to hell. It probably didn't help that I fell on it a few weeks back. Clumsy ass. So I went to the flea market today and found a lovely pine pantry. Started reading The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, today, and I have to say, I love the guy's writing style. I'm not a big reader of Holocaust novels (so dark), or books about adolescents, but this one - told from the POV of Death - is poetic and very different. I'm in love with it so far and I must thank my friend Keith for gifting it to me.
