Writers on the River 2011

Last Sunday Charlie and I attended the 13th Annual Writers on the River book fair in Monroe, Michigan. The yearly event was sponsored by the Monroe County Library System. Over 50 authors and illustrators were in attendance, many (but not all) from Michigan. We were excited to reconnect with old friends Deborah Diesen (The Pout-Pout Fish), Mark Crilley (Brody's Ghost), and Kelly DiPucchio (Zombie in Love), and pleased to meet new creative folk including Carrie Harris (Bad Taste in Boys) and...

Rock Star Writer
I knew I wanted to be a writer in 8th grade. I just didn't know how successful I would become. Thanks to one special fan, I have achieved Rock Star Writer status. This is how it happened.
