Fabulous Snow Day

Mason and I played outside for I don't know how long this afternoon. The temperatures were supposed to reach 40 (that's ABOVE, folks,) and though I have no idea if we ever actually got there, the snow was super melty -- perfect for snowball fights and building a snow lady, such as I have pictured below. Busy Day

I spent a lot of today in the car. We dropped Shawn off at work, went to the coffee shop for a quick cup of joe, and then headed off for Adventure Peak. I brought along my "homework" for Wyrdsmiths, so I got some reading done while Mason amused himself on the various slides and such at the indoor park. I didn't finish it all, but I got a good start.

Then we decided, since we were out in that direction, to stop by the WORLD OF FISH! I shouldn't have spent the money, but I bought a piece of R

Not Much New, What the Hey?

Even though I shouldn't have, I kind of took a break from writing this week. First, I was nearly killed by the virus from HELL, and then I wrote a final scene and --even though the book falls 20,000 words short of a "real" novel (80,000 in this case)-- I kind of went "whoot! I'm done!!" and didn't write for another several days.

I suck.

But, I've been getting a LOT of sleep.

And I've been doing some WitchSchool related things, like, a quarter writing class, which has had me doing some meditation
