Song of the day- Sweet Surrender by Sarah McLachlan

Today's post is a quick one. I was interviewed by my Twitter buddies, Michelle and Marissa over at Novels On The Run. If you're not following these fabulous ladies, make sure you remedy the situation. They're great and I had an awesome time chatting with them.

Have a great Sunday!

Review- Catching Fire

Happy Friday, peeps!

Song of the day- If You Only Knew by Shinedown

With the continuing hype over MockingJay, I thought I'd post my review for Catching Fire.

Goodreads summary:

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there ...

How often do you write?

Happy Thursday, peeps!

Song of the day- Impossible by Shontelle

So, I was on Twitter last night. Yeah, yeah, I know... big surprise. Anyway, I had a great conversation with some of my Twitter buddies about our writing process, or more specifically, how often we write.

I write in bursts. When I get an idea for a story, I usually flush out the characters, write three or four chapters, and then let the manuscript sit. Why? I don't know. For some reason, letting the story sit and marinate some more ...

Author interview- Susan Kaye Quinn

Happy Monday, peeps!

Song of the day- Here We Go by Matt Kearney

I'm so excited to welcome the very talented author, Susan Kaye Quinn to Cali Cheer Mom today.

A romantic tale that tugs at your heart strings and revives memories of your first love, Life, Liberty, and Pursuit was one of my favorite YA reads this summer.

Susan was an absolute doll when I approached her about doing an author interview, and I had a blast chatting with her. So, without further ado, on to the interview!

Meet an author Monday!

Good morning, peeps! It's Monday again, which means it's time for the Meet an author blog hop. Authors! Have a book out? Are you under contract for publication? Make sure you join in the hop. This is a great way to network your blog and let readers know who you are! Here's how it works: READERS: Follow as many authors as you like. Just follow the Linky list and hop from author to author. The idea is to find as many "new to you" authors as you can, and...

Review- Hunger Games

Happy Saturday, peeps!

Song of the day-  Edge Of The Ocean by Ivy

I've heard nothing but talk and excitement over the past few weeks about Mockingjay, the third installment to the Hunger Games series. I'd yet to read the first book, and felt way out of the loop. My hubby, the good man that he is, hauled his butt to the store and bought me the first two books so I could catch up and see what all the hype was about. All I can say is:  I am sooooo on board with the Hunger Games hysteria. These boo...
