Review-Broken by Shiloh Walker

Happy Tuesday, peeps!

Song of the day- Take It Off by Ke$ha

Broken is the first book I've read by Shiloh Walker, and woohoo,  it did not disappoint!

Here's the blurb taken from Goodreads:

SHATTERED

Quinn Rafferty is working as a bounty hunter and bail bondsman in St. Louis when a new neighbor catches his eye. He's tempted by her beauty—but he knows from experience that anyone desperate enough to live in his building is damaged goods. Besides, he has his own soul to mend before he can worry about...

Interview with author Alice Clayton

Happy Monday, peeps!

Song of the day- Just Like Heaven by The Cure (I pulled from Redhead's playlist today. Love this song!)

I'd like to take a moment to welcome Alice Clayton, author of The Unidentified Redhead, to my blog today.

Alice was an absolute doll when I approached her about doing an author interview, and I'm very thankful she agreed. Thank you, sweetie!  Mwah! Redhead is one of my favorite books I've read this year. So much so, I've read it twice. That's saying a lot, folks. Now on w...

Meet an author Monday!

Good morning, peeps! It's Monday again, which means it's time for the Meet an author blog hop.
Authors! Have a book out? Are you under contract for publication? Make sure you join in the hop. This is a great way to network your blog and let readers know who you are!

Here's how it works:

READERS: Follow as many authors as you like. Just follow the Linky list and hop from author to author. The idea is to find as many "new to you" authors as you can, and hopefully some great new reading...

Time for some Saturday cheer!

Happy Saturday, peeps!

Song of the day- The Champion In Me by 3 Doors Down

It's been a while since I posted anything cheer related on the blog. Our first competition isn't until December, so we've got a long time before I'll be posting any "new" videos.

I miss watching the girls perform, so I decided to go through my Youtube channel and pick some of my favorites to share with you.

If you've never watched All Star cheer before, prepare to be amazed. These girls are off the hook!

Oh, yeah...Go A.P.!...

Joining the hop!

Hey, peeps!

So, I've been wanting to join in on the book blog hoop for a while, but haven't up till now because, well...I'm not sure. Lol!  Along with writing books, I read and review as well.  My tastes are eclectic, I'll read just about anything. You can find a link to my reviews in the left hand column.  Anyway, I figured I now was as good a time to dive in as any. Looking forward to meeting some new bloggers. Yay!

Review-Linger

Happy Thursday, peeps!

Song of the day- Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner

Okay, so lets get right down to it.

I just finished Linger by Maggie Stiefvater, and am now in a complete funk because I've finished the book. I remember clearly just how much I enjoyed Shiver. Diving into Linger...well, it reminded me just how much I love Sam Roth.

Linger (Wolves of Mercy Falls, Book 2)

Here's the blurb from Goodreads:

In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this...

Happy Wednesday, peeps!

Song of the day- In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel (Yeah, we're goin' way back today!)

Woohoo Wednesday is a weekly feature here at Cali Cheer Mom designed to share good news and things we're thankful for. I know I've got two things I feel like shouting "woohoo!" for.

Book two (Martha's story) tentatively titled, Pleasures Untold, was picked up by Omnific Publishing. Woot!!!!! My girls went back to school today. Squee!!  An empty house means more writing time for me. Yay...

Review-The Heat Is On by Jill Shalvis

Happy Tuesday, peeps!

Song of the day- Club Can't Handle Me by Flo Rida

So, lets get right to it, shall we?

As you've heard me gush over the past week, I came home from my RWA conference with a fat stack of books. Woohoo! Ever since editor, Brenda Chin visited my chapter and gave a talk about Harelquin's Blaze line,I've been dying to read a Blaze novel. I was really impressed with Ms. Chin and after reading The Heat Is On, by Jill Shalvis, I'm impressed with the Blaze authors as well.

Here's...
