Come visit me!

Hey, peeps!  Happy Tuesday!

Song of the day- Dynamite by Taio Cruz (LOVE this song. I've been dancing around all morning to it.)

Just a quick post today to point you in the direction of a couple awesome sites.

I'm over at A Bibliophile's Paradise today. They're running a "Beach Reads" challenge and giving away a signed copy of EOS tomorrow.

Twimom 227 over at That's What I'm Talking About posted a review of EOS today, along with an interview and steamy blurb the day before.

Oh, and today is the LA...

Meet an author Monday!

Happy Monday, peeps!

I'm excited to introduce a new feature here at Cali Cheer Mom! Starting today, each Monday we will be hosting a "Meet an author Monday" blog hop.

Woot!  I've seen quite a few book blogger hops, but none designed specifically for readers to find and get to know new authors. This hop is about to change that!

Here's how it works:

Follow the Meet an author Monday host (Cali Cheer Mom) along with any of the wonderfully talented authors on the list. You will need to enter your name...

New feature at Cali Cheer Mom

Happy Friday, peeps!

Song of the day- Round and Round by Selena Gomez (Yeah, whatever! My girls love her!)

I'm excited to tell you about a new feature I'll be starting this upcoming Monday. Inspired by the many book blogger hops I see each Friday, I thought it would be a great idea to start a "Meet an author Monday" blog hop.

There are so many great authors floating around around the World Wide Web who are not getting the exposure they both need and deserve. My hope is that the author hop will...

Interview with author J.A. Saare

Happy Monday, peeps!

Song of the day- Uprising by Muse

I'm beyond excited to welcome the fabulous and oh-so-talented author, J.A. Saare to Cali Cheer Mom. I'd like to give her a big shout of thanks for taking time out of her busy schedule to participate in an author interview with me.

1.    You've had two books release in the last month, Crimson Moon over at The Wild Rose Press, and Eternity and a Day at Loose ID.  Can you tell us a little about them?

Aside from they are very different? ;-)

Cali Cheer Mom is making the switch!

Yep!  That's right, baby.  This cheer mom is finally making the switch from a Blogspot url to a ".com."  Woot!!  The change takes a few days, and shouldn't affect the blog in any way.

I'm feeling a little misty-eyed here.  My little girl blog's growing up and becoming a woman! Hopefully she won't have chocolate cravings and PMS!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Don't forget to stop by on Monday when I'll be interviewing the extremely talented author, J.A. Saare.  You won't want to miss it!

Woot! I got an award!

I'm feeling all...warm and squishy (flaps hands in front of face.)  I'm getting misty-eyed over here!

Look...isn't it pretty?

This wonderful award was given to me by author, Laura Kaye.  You can find her blog here.

In accepting this award, I agreed to share seven interesting facts about myself.  Heh heh...Prepare yourselves, people!

I have a stylized version of the Celtic Tree of Life tattooed on my upper backI despise milk. In fact, I believe it to be the most vile, puke-inducing liquid on the...

Woohoo! Wednesday

Happy Hump day, peeps!

Song of the day- This Ain't a Love Song by Scouting For Girls

So, Wednesday has always been sort of a ho-hum day. You know what I mean? People refer to it as "Hump Day"myself included, and we can't wait for Friday to come because that signals the end of the work week.  I propose, instead of looking at Wednesday as a day to get through, we use it to celebrate good things that have happened to us, or things we are thankful for.

I hereby proclaim Wednesday at the Cheer Mom b...

Feel the burn

Yeah, I'm feelin' the burn all right.  What's left of it anyway.  And I'm not talking about the kind of burn you get when working out.  I'm talking, chicken fried skin over eighty percent of my torso because I didn't put enough sunscreen on kind of burn. Yeeeoucch!

Oh yeah...Happy Monday! Song of the day- Magic by B.o.B.  I might have used this song already last week, I can't remember and am too lazy to go back and look.  I don't care.  The song rocks!

So, I don't know about you, but my holiday...
