Nazarene Professor Misrepresents—Again!

Once again, Karl Giberson has misrepresented AiG and me in an obvious attempt to malign our reputation—he is the vice president of BioLogos (an organization that promotes theistic evolution); on the faculty of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts; and the director of the Forum on Faith and Science at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts.

Writing on the huffingtonpost.com website, Giberson states:

On the Answers in Genesis site, to take one example, Ken Ham published a report

Bill Nye the Humanist Guy

Many of you have probably heard of the TV program Bill Nye The Science Guythe Emmy-winning PBS children's program.  There is no doubt that Bill Nye is a great communicator and was (and still is—the programs are still running  on PBS) very popular with children.  In fact, when he taught observational science (the same science that creationists would agree with—based on direct observation and repeatability), he did a great job.  However, Bill Nye also teaches children to believe in evolution a...

Not "Chicken" to Present the Creation/Gospel Message

I wanted to share a unique outreach that a church in Tennessee is having using AiG materials—and also using a local Chick-Fil-A restaurant—to reach out to their community. I hope you'll be encouraged by this email that we received from AiG friend Pastor Greg Tabor in Tennessee (note the orange Creation Museum shirt in one of the photos saying, "Prepare to Believe"):

I regularly read Ken Ham's blog. I thought this might be something that would interest him.

Attached are 5 pictures of an event...

4,000 Reached Directly in Virginia

Buddy Davis and I spoke to around an estimated 4,000 different people (including 600 young children) at the homeschool convention in Richmond, VA.   We were thrilled at the response from parents, teens, and children—lots of great testimonies.  I also gave the commencement address to around 3,000 people (including 200 graduates) at a homeschool graduation ceremony.  Here are some photographs from the past two days:

The main auditorium—the auditorium seated around 2,400 for the main sessions...

An Excited Seven-Year-Old

While speaking at the Home Educators Conference in Virginia yesterday, a young boy came up to me and said, "Mr. Ham, I'm excited about your presentations, and I love Dinosaurs."  I asked him how old he was and he said, "My name is TJ and I am seven." So I just had to get my photograph taken with young TJ.

What is so encouraging to me is the number of children like TJ who I meet who love God's Word and just love the AiG ministry. For them, this apologetics ministry helps make the Bible real...

You Can Still Be One of 2,400!

Nearly 2,400 people have now registered for AiG's summer Defending the Faith conference, July 19–22 in beautiful Tennessee. With a unique line-up of powerful speakers, and plenty of time to visit tourist attractions/shows in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, this is going to be another great time of teaching, fellowshipping, and singing.  There is only five weeks to go till the start of the conference—you can still register online until July 1, then after that, you can still register at the d...

Reaching into the Community

Promotions Team on the Road

The Creation Museum recently sponsored a minor league baseball game in nearby Lexington, Kentucky (about one and a half hours away from the museum). The Lexington Legends "Faith and Family Night" drew over 5,000 baseball fans to the ballpark.

The museum had a booth where we gave out wristbands, t-shirts, coupons, and had sign-ups for prize drawings. Our sales and promotions manager, Jason Goff, threw out the first pitch and did an on-field interview prior to the...

Shades of Brown from Dark to Light

Last night, at the final session of the AiG conference in Philadelphia, I spoke on "One Race, One Blood."  This is based on the book Darwin's Plantation, which details how all humans are descendants of Adam and Eve, and thus, we are all related—all one biological race (just as the Human Genome Project confirmed a few years ago).

As part of this presentation, I also explained that all humans have one main pigment in their skin—we are essentially all the same color (brown), just differing...

Can You Spell Deoxyribonucleic Acid?

For the past two days, Dr. Menton and I have been speaking at an AiG conference at Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia. After the school assembly today, a nine-year-old girl named Shaina came up an asked me, "Can you spell Deoxyribonucleic acid?" I asked her if she could, so she spelled it correctly for me. I then asked her what that substance was, and she answered "DNA."

It is so great to speak to the caliber of young people today who are being raised up to stand on the authority of the Word...

Best Vacation Ever

What a thrill to receive this email about a fourth grader:

Last week my grandson (4th grade) surprised us with this summary of his trip to the creation museum that he had produced on his computer. Not only had no one suggested that he do this, but he did it two months after his visit to the creation museum. To describe it as "the best vacation ever" was even more impressive to me as we had taken his family to Hawaii three years earlier to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary....
