Media Interest Continues
Media coverage of AiG and our museum has slowed down a bit (as expected) since the opening day of the Creation Museum in 2007, but still . . . below is what we have done just in the past three months (April–June), which we have been able to confirm. (Sometimes we are not aware of what is written or broadcast about AiG and the Creation Museum, so this list below could actually be much longer.)
What is denoted with an asterisk means that this is a national (or international) media outlet, which ...

Secular Scientists Get an Origins Issue Right—for a Change!
Which came first: the chicken or the egg?
I smiled yesterday as I read this news story from MSNBC:
It is an age-old riddle that has perplexed generations: Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Now British scientists claim to have finally come up with the definitive answer: The chicken. The scientific and philosophical mystery was purportedly unraveled by researchers at Sheffield and Warwick universities, according to the Daily Mail newspaper. The scientists found that a protein found only...

Thousands Flock to Hear AiG Messages
Well the atheist bloggers hate it—reacting with their usual anti-intellectual emotional, vile, hateful, and blasphemous language (our Google alerts should sometimes be rated R!)—but people are flocking to hear AiG messages. There is a tremendous hunger in our culture for the truth. Just consider some of these statistics:
Creation Museum
Between Friday last week and this morning, over 8,000 people came to the Creation Museum in just those few days! (Total number since opening just over three y...

The Sad State of the Church in America
One of the things I often say in my presentations is that I have observed many churches all across America that are not touching the culture as they used to; I have also observed the churches across the United Kingdom and Europe and seen the sorry state of the church there in those increasingly anti-Christian nations. Because these churches are not reaching the culture as they once were, they tend to water down the teaching of the God's Word and make the church more entertainment oriented ...

A Great Offer for People in Oklahoma
Yesterday, both Dr. Jason Lisle and I spoke at Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma, as part of a two-day AiG conference. One of the attendees was a friend of AiG called Clint Bishard. Clint runs a creation ministry in Oklahoma called Jesus Created Ministries (JCM). Clint and his family love the Creation Museum (about 800 miles away), so as part of their ministry, they have been offering a "3 day/2 night adventure" to the Creation Museum for a very low price—with subsidized prices...

Meeting a Survivor
It was a real thrill to meet a very special lady and her family at the Reclaiming Oklahoma for Christ conference. Arlene Blanchard was in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City when a truck bomb exploded in front of the building. I'm sure we all remember this sad event. 171 people (including three unborn children) lost their lives. Arlene worked on the fourth floor of the building, but the Lord allowed her to survive this horrible bombing event. Arlene has written a...

Overflow Crowd Backs up Freeway
Well last night was a memorable one as the "Reclaiming Oklahoma for Christ"conference got underway. I was one of the keynote speakers, speaking right after David Barton (from Wallbuilders). The crowds kept pouring in and pouring in—they filled the auditorium, then overflowed to various overflow rooms and eventually there was no room left anywhere—and the cars were back up onto one of the freeways! What a start to a conference! I should have some photos for you in tomorrow's blog. AiG's...

A Special Dedication
Recently, a wonderful saint of the Lord passed into eternity. Sheila just loved doing what she could to spread the gospel, and she was an ardent garden lover. She would come to the Creation Museum, get on her hands and knees (at over 70 years old), and work as hard as anyone else.
Sheila provided the support necessary to build the koi pond and gardens—now an outstanding feature in the Creation Museum gardens.
Recently, Sheila's family visited the Creation Museum so we could have a special...

Problems in the Homeschool Movement
Over the past few months, I have been privileged to be a keynote speaker at a number of homeschool conventions. At these conventions, there are numerous exhibit booths. At some of these meetings, I have obtained photographs of various publications being sold—I have included just a small selection for you to view:
The sad aspect of this is that while I am teaching the attendees to stand on a literal book of Genesis, there are numerous publications in many of the exhibit booths that...

Over 1.8 Million in Print!
Recently, the leading (and really the only) publisher in the world that specializes in creation apologetics, Master Books, had an exhibit at the yearly International Christian Retail Show—this year in St. Louis. Here is a photograph of part of the Master Books exhibit:
As part of their exhibit this year, they featured books that have me as author, co-author, or general editor, and we praise the Lord that over 1.8 million of those books are in print—and this doesn't count the few years...
