Radio Rallies at the Museum

We're finding that many radio stations are now sponsoring tours to the Creation Museum, and they are bringing bus loads of their listeners. Moody Radio Indiana is having another group here, this time on October 7 (see their website for details). Stations in Toledo, Dayton, and Cedarville—all in Ohio—have brought groups to the museum as well.

One of the more unusual outings is one that is being sponsored by a "secular" radio station on this Friday and Saturday. Last we heard about 40 listeners ...

Another Creationist College

Recently, I blogged about Appalachian Bible College (located in West Virginia) and its very specific statement of faith concerning Genesis.  It is a thrill to see such colleges that stand on the inerrancy and infallibility of Scripture, and that they are prepared (despite the scoffing of the secularists) to make a stand on six literal days, young universe (no millions of years), etc.

Today, I will be in Florida speaking at another Christian college that also stands with Answers in Genesis in r...

Amazon Expedition in Overseas Church

A church in Australia used AiG's VBS program Amazon Expedition—and sent this report:

These are just a few of the hundreds of photos of our very successful 1st Amazon Expedition here in Australia.

I cannot believe how any program could be soooo successful and so much fun for all concerned . . . God was certainly with us all the way even with the weather (remember it is the middle of a very cold winter here in Australia)—we had a beautiful Creation day, a dark cloudy day for Corruption...

"The Museum and the Grounds are Truly Spectacular"

We receive many rave reviews of the Creation Museum by email, phone, letter, and in person.  Every now and then, I like to share one of the many such pieces of feedback we receive—like this one that came by email recently:

The museum and the grounds are truly SPECTACULAR!!!

I was telling our neighbors about it last night.  We really enjoyed it, and I am grateful for the museum to have made it clear to my children that they do not have to accept everything they are "fed" in school.  I was...

How Many Pennies Make $1000?

Recently, Creation Museum Director Dan Mangus was thrilled to receive a check for $1000 from Greg Johnson, the Principal of St. Michael Lutheran Church and School in Portage, Michigan.  A person associated with the school headed up using AiG's VBS program "The Egypt File" (this was their first time to use an AiG VBS program) as an outreach.  The kids were challenged to raise $1000 in pennies to donate to the Creation Museum.  Thanks kids—what a wonderful investment in helping reach thousands ...

AiG's Influence in a Canadian Church

I was thrilled recently to receive a series of photographs of a display in a Canadian church where AiG has ministered in the past, and where there are avid AiG supporters. Instead of discarding the color pictures that were used in various Sunday school lessons, some AiG supporters in this Ontario church decided to use the photos to teach people the truth concerning the history in God's Word.  Even though these pictures are in the children's area, they really put them there for the adults as w...

"'Move On' From Evolution-Creationism Debate?"—No, It Is Heating Up!

There was an article published in The Tennessean newspaper and also on the USA Today news website recently; in the article, a writer—described as a "young evangelical," Rachel Evans—has authored a book in which she is reported as having "chronicled her personal journey" from supposedly being a creationist to now embracing evolution.

In the article entitled,  "Young evangelical writer: 'Move on' from evolution-creationism debate," this author is quoted as stating:

"I was taught that if you...

Dr. Gary Parker Returns to the Creation Museum

Many of you may recall that back in the 1990s, Dr. Gary Parker was my seminar partner at many Answers in Genesis events. His wife, Mary, also conducted workshops for children at these events. It was a wonderful, fruitful time of outreach for our new ministry, and hundreds of thousands of people across the country were introduced to our apologetics ministry as a result.

Dr. Parker eventually moved to Florida—mostly for health reasons—but we have remained in touch. Last week, he spoke a few...

Get Your Pastor to Answers for Pastors—and Our Creation Museum!

Over 250 Already Registered

We are so privileged to have Dr. John Whitcomb speaking at our Answers for Pastors conference (September 21–23) here in our Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area—Dr. Whitcomb is one of the founders of the worldwide creation movement (he co-authored the The Genesis Flood with Dr. Henry Morris) and a leading theologian. Naturally, Dr. Whitcomb will give a talk on the Flood of Noah's time. AiG speakers, including me, will be speaking to the pastors as well. We think this s...
