NFL Pro Bowler/Super Bowl Winner at the Museum

No, he did not have his Super Bowl ring on him when he visited the Creation Museum a few days ago, but Jay Schroeder's tour of the museum with his wife Debbie (and their young daughter) was a blessing to many of our staff who met him (I was away in St. Louis speaking at a conference).

Not only was Jay an all-star football player (what's called a "Pro Bowler") and was on a Washington Redskins team that won the Super Bowl in the 1980s, he is now best-known for his Christian testimony (through...

Salvation in Atlanta

Over the last four weeks, Answers in Genesis has had the great privilege of presenting the Seven C's of History at First Baptist Atlanta (Dr. Charles Stanley's church).  Dr. Terry Mortenson presented the first four C's being Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, and Confusion, while my brother Stephen (AiG's Senior Director of Outreach) finished with the last three C's of Christ, Cross, and Consummation.

Both Steve and Terry were overwhelmed with the response from First Baptist...

Even a Four-Year-Old

I just wanted to say thanks.  We totally enjoyed our time at the Creation Museum and all in the group were so impressed with the quality of the exhibits and the clarity of the gospel throughout.

Rick and I were so pleased to finally get to use our passes and see the museum for ourselves.  We came home saying that our investment 3-4 years ago is probably one the best investments we've ever made!  While our 2 year old didn't get much out of it (though he had a good time!), our 4 year old has...

Evolution and Cochlear Implant

AiG researcher and speaker Dr. Georgia Purdom wrote a fascinating and instructive blog posting on her AiG speaker's blog that I thought would be good for all of you to read.  Dr. Purdom writes:

A couple months ago, I responded to a skeptic who commented on my blog about an event I spoke at in Montana. Interestingly, a response by RBH to the skeptic's blog about this event stated this:

"I wonder if Purdom knows that the cochlear implant she mentions as having received is in part due to the work...

Great Photos

From time to time I like to post Creation Museum photos taken by our talented staff photographers Deb and Marty Minnard. This couple is on the front lines of the museum ministry—they are often the first people that museum guests meet after getting their tickets and heading towards the museum entrance. The Minnards stand ready to take photos of our visitors at our special FX Foto display.

For the past three years, Marty and Deb have also been taking photos of the museum exhibits—especially the ...

Museum Participates in Charity Auction

The Creation Museum is pleased to be part of an auction that benefits a charity called the "Special Operations Warrior Foundation." SOWF, according to its website, "provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families." (See http://www.specialops.org/)

Here is what we have c...

Billboards Up in Pittsburgh!

One of our longtime supporters, Marc Jacobs—who has visited the Creation Museum many times (and has brought over 180 guests!)—is an executive with an energy exploration company (Penneco) based in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Marc is not only a big museum fan, but teaches apologetics and creation/evolution in his area. He has also sponsored some of our new "I Am Not Ashamed" billboards, and has two posted in the Pittsburgh area.

The first photo is one that went up recently on Route 66...

Marquis' Marquee Performance

Last Monday, the AiG staff and our Creation Museum guests had the privilege to hear selections from the book of Genesis dramatically performed by the talented Marquis Laughlin. Marquis is a "performance artist" whose life's work is to bless audiences who hear, see, and experience the God of the Bible—through the words of the Bible. Marquis has completely memorized seven books of the Bible. In his solo performances, he uses Scripture to highlight God's relationship with man.

Marquis maintains a...

"First Time I Have Witnessed an Adult Accept Christ in a VBS"

AiG's VBS programs have been receiving rave reviews. We were thrilled to receive this feedback this past week:

Just a thank you for the VBS Program "The Egypt File". We just completed the program Sunday and it was a great success. Both the children & Teachers loved the lessons, skits, & songs. The greatest thing was we saw 13 children & 1 adult accept Christ as their Savior. A young lady who offered to help with snacks because her children were attending came with her daughter to accept...

"Excited About My New Faith"

A student from a Christian high school in Nevada wrote to us:

I just wanted to let you know that I just got saved! I'm so excited about my new faith! I go to a Christian high school, and in my Christian studies class, my teacher showed us some Ken Ham videos. I was so amazed at all the evidence he put forth for the existence of God, and the fact that Jesus came to die on the cross for our sins. Part of me still remained skeptical, and a few days later (today) I battled it all out in my mind...
