Special Guest at Book Club

Last night I was honored to be a guest speaker at a past co-workers book club. The ladies had just finished Everblue and Evergreen, and were salivating to ask me questions about the books and what's to come. I have to say, I was thoroughly honored and a little nervous, as this would be my first book club event. I had no clue what to expect. But I'm happy to say the entire event was so delightful. Not only was everyone welcoming and super nice, I can't tell you how incredible it is to be surrounded by a group of ladies excited about your characters! We bagged on Azor, doted over Badger, laughed about Tatiana's fishy saying, and swooned over Fin and Ash. I even told them secrets about Everlost and how I came up with some of my ideas for plotlines and character names. Shhhh... we'll never tell. Anyway, it was a fabulous and yummy affair (dinner was great, Robin), and I've made new friends in my writing journey.
