Egg-cerpt Exchange: Anita Philmar

Today we have an excerpt exchange. Author, Anita Philmar, has generously provided us with a peek into her story, Banished Scoundrel.

The blurb, excerpt and buy info can be found below.

*ADULT CONTENT*
while we normally run a PG-13-ish ship around here, the following blurb contains a few passages that make me blush.** Y'all know I blush easily, but keep this in mind as you scroll down, and If You are Under the Age of 18, please avert your gaze. :-D

thanks.

Winnie the Pooh on Day Three

Today at: http://gretawrites.com
I have an article posted (phew, a break from interviews) about Winnie the Pooh.
No--scratch that. It's about characters and whether giving them too much easy or too much evil is a worse crime. ;-)

BUT Pooh is in there somewhere.

Hope you stop by.

Day Two is Tough Question Day :-)

Okay, today I have an awesome interview up at Denyse' Bridger's blog. She asks great questions, and her followers are jumping on the bandwagon!
http://fantasy-pages.blogspot.com

We also have an added interview at: http://www.donnahatch.blogspot.com/ where Donna and I chat about writing and genres.

Thanks,

Frances

Thanks so much everyone for all the support, hugs and chocolate.

Communication Meltdowns

I experienced a communications meltdown today. Actually, it's been going on for a bit, but I've only just caught up to speed. I'm a little slow on the uptake. ;-)

Anyway, It got me thinking and talking about the importance of clear communications, and how absolutely impossible that task is. You can say the exact same thing to seven different people, and have them interpret it seven different ways. Of course. We all perceive things through our own, individual filters of experience, beliefs, etc...

The Sidekicks' Lounge

I'm a big fan of the sidekick as a character. Then again, I always liked Robin better as a child. As an adult, of course, I flipped like a pancake about the time they started making the movies. What is it about that black, Batman mask?

ANYway...

What is it about the insignificant, filler characters that captivates me? I can't tell you. But I do know that as I write a book, there will almost always be one that gets under my skin—a character that just popped into a scene as a necessity and wasn't...

Today we are joined by author, Greta Gunselman. She has generously offered to stop by and share some great information about the value of Twitter for authors. Since we're talking about one of my favorite social media sites, I have to agree with her!

Please give a warm welcome, and your comments to our guest author. Greta, thanks for coming.
