GOD’S DESIGN IS FLAWLESS

Genesis 1:12 (NKJV) –And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

GOD’S DESIGN IS FLAWLESS

Well, good morning, My Friends. Let’s stop and take a moment to glorify God for the beautiful Earth that He has created and how His design is flawless. For example, in Genesis, we learn that God created each tree in its own way and with seeds to reproduce it; according to a Google search, there are 73,000 different types of trees globally!

So, in one moment, our sovereign God spoke thousands of trees into existence and placed them in a specific part of the planet Earth that the tree would need to thrive. Man, that’s awesome! It gets better. He made the trees capable of giving us oxygen through photosynthesis because He knew that we would need to breathe within the ozone layer.

Hang in here with me a little longer. I promise I will get somewhere. Have you ever looked up what a pair of lungs looks like? They look like trees! And what is the purpose of the lungs? They make us breathe! It is mind-blowing to see how perfect God’s design is and how we can see the beauty of our Creator through the connection of design.

Revelation 4:11 says that God deserves all the honor because He created everything, and everything came into existence because of His will. If you have the eyes to see everything points back to the beautiful creativity of the Lord.

Declaration: Today, I declare, Lord, that You are glorified through Your perfect design; everything I have today is because You want us to have it. Every opportunity I receive is because You allow it, and You purposely designed me for Your will to be done.

WHO IS YOUR NUMBER ONE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 11, 2024 – 1/11/2024
  1-Unity
11-Heroes Rising

Jeremiah 1:11 (NKJV) –Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”

What do you see? Are you seeing from God’s lenses? Do you know that the Almond Tree is one of the first trees to awaken and arise from its winter sleep? The word almond is ‘shakeid’ which means to watch or awake.

May God give you His lenses to see from His perspective. Awake and arise in unity church, as the remnant, claiming territory for King Jesus. God’s priority is for us to become one with Him.

Declaration: You have first place in my heart, King Jesus, above every dream and desire; I choose you first. You will guide me in all truth. Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. Lord, open my eyes to see the beautiful truths in your instructions.

WHO IS YOUR NUMBER ONE?

After accepting Christ, He teaches us how to put Him first. That’s why the first commandment is, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3) It could have been the second or even the ninth, I suppose, but God is after us for unity.

God is Always First. Genesis 1:1 starts with, “In the beginning God…” He is the first and the only one who matters. That means He is the first in priority, first in authority, and first in absolute preeminence. All order and unity begin with God being first. There can be no other basis where that order is established.

What God preaches through the number one is that if you want God in your life, you will have to put Him first. Making Him the number one in your life brings unity and intimacy. Jesus was in perfect unity with the Father. The first recorded words of a 12-year-old Jesus were, “Didn’t you know that I would be about my Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49) and John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

When God is speaking something positive using the number eleven, He likes to recognize the victorious attributes of people. When people win massive battles of faith, He will stamp the number 11 on it. This number is associated with mighty deeds and extraordinary acts.

Who is your #1? My number 1 is Yahweh.

WHOSE APPROVAL DO YOU WANT TO WIN – GOD or MAN?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 10, 2024 – 1/10/2024
1-Unity
10-Perfect Order

Galatians 1:10 (NKJV) –For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant Christ.

Which lane do you find yourself in? What about the world and all its demands and hoops people want you to jump through? Or what about God; Are you surrendered and pleasing to Him?

Ephesians 6:6 (NKJV) Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

We are at the Lord’s command, and it is our pleasure and our duty to serve Him; And with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish all that is in God’s heart for us to do.

DECLARATION: I will walk worthy of the Lord and please Him alone. Fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

WHOSE APPROVAL DO YOU WANT TO WIN – GOD or MAN?

Proverbs 16:7 (NKJV) When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Proverbs 16:7 tells us that when people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them. Hallelujah to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Why would you not want God’s approval when He also works to make our lives better by keeping our enemies at peace with us. Man, that is good stuff!

Now, using my book, Numbers That Preach, let’s break down what each number represents in today’s date – 1/10/2024 – and see how it shows you who is truly in control:

#1 – Unity: Jesus has been one with God the Father since before time began. Put Christ First in your life.

#10 – Perfect Order: God carries out a plan in perfect order. God reveals his plan and sets things up for His purpose, and Christ is the Head. You should take great comfort in knowing that God uses you to help serve His purpose in your life.

#20 – Expectancy and Redemption: Waiting and expectancy for God to do something big. It is associated with prayer and the prophetic and hearing God speak. There are twenty dreams in the bible and twenty visions in the bible. Are you giving God your new ear to hear this year?

#24 – Perfect Government Made Manifest: It is the product of 12 x 2 and relates to God governing something. I challenge you to allow God to govern every part of your life.

Knowing that God is always in control of your life and makes sure that your enemies leave you alone because He loves you, whose approval do you really want to win – God or man?

COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD’S WILL

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 9, 2024 – 1/9/2024
1-Unity

9-Fruit Bearing

Colossians 1:9 (NKJV) –For this reason, we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Paul was concerned about the spiritual health of the church in Colosse. Because even the elect can be deceived. He did not want false teachers mixing pagan and Christian ideas and producing a false doctrine. In his letters, he wrote to them urging them to give special attention to the deity of Christ and to test what is being taught by comparing it with the teaching of the Bible. Like Paul, we should be concerned about our spiritual health and be sure to follow God’s teaching so that we will always produce good fruit in our daily walk.

DECLARATION: I will honor and please God and produce good fruit. I shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water yielding fruit in my season. I will intercede for the United States and the world. I declare that the glory of the Lord will cover the earth. And the people will rejoice in praise and thanksgiving to King Jesus!

COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD’S WILL

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Speaking the word of God in prayer is powerful and necessary in our walk with Christ. We must study and meditate on the word of God daily. Bible meditation is mulling over God’s word, letting it take root in the good soil of your heart, and receiving a better understanding of God and his kingdom. By doing this, we will have the mind of Christ and the discernment needed for our day.

Matthew 7:15-20 15: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  20 Therefore, by their fruits, you will know them.

Take heed, My Friends, and always compare any information given to you about living your life to what the Word of God says in the Bible.

Always strive to produce good fruit because you know the complete knowledge of God’s will.

EIGHT IS ENOUGH

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 8, 2024 – 1/8/2024

8-New Beginnings

Acts 1:8 (NKJV) –“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Resurrection Power! King Jesus! The word Power occurs fifty-seven times in the New Testament. The word Power is used to describe the most powerful event that ever happened, an event that separated AD from BC — the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

And that resurrection power is available to change your life! The most important thing in life is knowing Jesus Christ and experiencing the power of His Resurrection.

Declaration: I declare, in the mighty name of Jesus, that the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead two thousand years ago is available to us right now to transform the weaknesses in our lives into strengths.

EIGHT IS ENOUGH

Paul writes in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”

You can know about Jesus or the Resurrection but still not personally know, and experience either of these. In another letter, Paul tells his readers in Ephesians 1:19-20, “ 19  And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power  20, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand the heavenly places.”

Paul uses the Greek word for power, ‘Dunamis,’ which is the root of our word dynamite. So, Paul says, “God wants to give you dynamite power that can change your life.” WOW!

Eight (8) is a number that stands for new beginnings, infinity, and, consequently, resurrection power. EIGHT (8) IS ENOUGH!

SPIRIT OF FEAR

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 7, 2024 – 1/7/2024
1-Unity

7-The Spirit of God

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) –For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of
love and of a sound mind.

Paul was encouraging Timothy and wanted him to remain faithful. Some would walk away from the faith even if times were rough and people were persecuted. Paul was making it very clear that he needed to hang on to the faith that he believed in. The Bible tells us that there are still challenging times ahead for this world and the times we live in. As a result, we need to heed the word of God through the teaching in 2 Timothy.

DECLARATION: I will not fear because fear has torment. I will store the word of God in my heart until it is full and overflowing. I will not be stuck in any situation because the creator God has an answer for everything I will ever encounter.

SPIRIT OF FEAR

Did you know that the word fear is listed in the Bible 365 times? One for each day of the year. The Lord wants this ingrained in our spirits and our minds. I encourage you to add this to your daily devotionals or declarations.

If any situation arises, we need faith and the word of God to spring up at a moment’s notice. Some problems arise, and we need more time to read the scriptures. We need to respond at once. The word of God needs to be stored in our inner being, and when we are squeezed, it needs to come out automatically.

The Bible tells us that people’s hearts will fail them due to fear, and they will be terrified. Luke 21:26 says, “Men’s hearts fail them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

2 Timothy has included timidity, fear, love, and self-discipline. These all go together, and timidity is a lack of courage and confidence, which could make you feel stuck. We need self-discipline, which has been given to us by the Spirit of God, and we know God is Love, and love casts out all fear.

So, don’t let the enemy deceive you because God gave us everything we need for this life here on earth. Brothers and Sisters, the word of God is the firm foundation, and everything works for our good!

JESUS HAS DOMINION OVER US

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 6, 2024 – 1/6/2024
1-Unity

6-The Flesh of Man

2 Peter 1:5-11 (NKJV) – For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection proved that sin and death do not have control of us. The act of Jesus on the cross provides everything we need for redemption. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. —Romans 6:6 NIV

I DECLARE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS; My end shall be peace, for I walk upright in Your promises and power. (Ps. 37-37)

JESUS HAS DOMINION OVER US

There’s a Reason Jesus Calls it Being “Born Again.” A big part of the definition of Christian redemption includes being born again. A new experience and a new way of experiencing everything. This is transformation and renewal. Jesus paid the ransom and took on the punishment for our sins so that we could be redeemed and saved. Just ask Nicodemus. He was an eyewitness to the majesty of Jesus.

Now, there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus, who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. No one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” —John 3:1-8 NIV

I would argue that Nicodemus was on the right track but the wrong train when he asked, “How can someone be born when they are old?” Jesus not only gave this old preacher the answer—“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit”—He was and is the answer. Nicodemus witnessed the cross, and I’d like to think he may have even been in that upper room when the Holy Spirit showed up, and everyone present was born again—the entire timeline was redeemed. Like the un-dyeing of a red cloth, they were supernaturally made white as snow.

Being born again is the foundation of our faith. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. —1 Peter 1:23 KJV Faith in Jesus brings His redemption into our lives and conquers sin and death upon our behalf. Now, Jesus has dominion over us, and death no longer does.

WISDOM’S WITNESS

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 5, 2024 – 1/5/2024
1-Unity

1-The Grace of God

Proverbs 1:5 (NKJV) –A wise man will hear and increase learning and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.

Wisdom comes from a heart that listens to God and His commandments. To gain that wisdom, you need to have an ear to hear. God is giving us new ears to listen to His words and guidance in the coming year. Just as Malchus had his ear cut off by Simon Peter in John 18:10, and Jesus restored the ear; God is going to do the same for you and me. We will have our ears spiritually cut off and restored so we can hear the words God will say to us.

Declaration: I will walk in the same joy Peter did when his eyes locked in on Jesus and His risen body. I will walk in the mindset of knowing and trusting that there is nothing that God’s grace won’t heal, restore, redeem, or make whole.

WISDOM’S WITNESS

Well, Good Morning, My Friends! Have you ever thought about how Peter felt when the third rooster crowed? I imagined that his face was down, looking at the ground as little drops of his tears hit the dirt in his sorrow. Peter had a lot of moments, but that was his lowest, and he felt the hope deflate from him as soon as the cloud turned grey.

In Mark 16:7, Mary, Mary, and Salome are told, “But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” This young man in the long white robe told them to get the disciples and Peter! That’s right, a particular order to ensure they said Peter to meet Jesus in Galilee, even after he betrayed Him.

I wonder how Peter looked when His eyes locked on the Messiah he let down; I bet he had tears, not of sorrows or pain, but of joy. The Grace of God looks like this: being loved despite our faults. Jesus did not throw what Peter had done in his face or make some slick comment. Jesus wanted Peter!

He wanted Peter to see Him and His glorified body and show him how He had risen, and all was forgiven by His blood at the cross. The joy that filled Peter up when Jesus embraced him as if nothing at all had happened because, to Jesus, nothing had happened. WOW!

The love of the Father is embracing you; His risen body has wrapped His arms around you; Feel His grace fall on you! Let the fire of Heaven fill you as you witness the Glory of the Lord surrounding you today.

AN ELEPHANT IN THE CHURCH

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 4, 2024 – 1/4/2024
1-Unity

4-Creation and Things Made

John 1:4-5 (NKJV) –4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.   5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Today, numerous topics could be considered “significant matters within the Church” from a Christian perspective.

These include issues related to sexuality (before marriage, cohabitation, divorce, adultery, and same-sex relationships), discussions about politics, the role of women in the church, the practice of tongues and charismatic gifts, handling finances, addressing racism, and more.

Today, I want to go in a different direction and discuss the church. Do you need to go to church? So, to jump right in, let me throw out a
question to get into our subject.

Does going to church make you a Christian? Going to church does not make you a Christian. Following JESUS does. Claiming God or attending a Bible study doesn’t make you a Christian. Following Jesus does. Believing in God doesn’t make you a Christian, following Jesus does. Reading your Bible or praying doesn’t make you a Christian. Following Jesus does. Tithing or giving offerings doesn’t make you a Christian. Following Jesus does.

Declaration: I will be the light of the world in a dark place and work the deeds of righteousness written in the Bible. That which is pleasing to my God and my Savior who sacrificed for me and died on the cross.

AN ELEPHANT IN THE CHURCH

Let’s delve into the fundamental question: Does attending church define your identity as a Christian? Today provides an excellent opportunity for a conversation about the prominent issue of church attendance.

Prepare yourself for a moment of introspection. Can you handle it? Okay, brace yourself… PERHAPS, SOME OF US NEED TO RECONSIDER OUR CHURCH ATTENDANCE!

God’s paramount calling for you, as a follower of Christ, isn’t merely attending church. The highest calling is to be transformed into the likeness of Christ, His beloved Son – not just going to church but becoming an integral part of the church, embodying the light in a world shrouded in darkness.

The ultimate purpose is not merely attending a church but being firmly rooted in the House of God. It’s about being nurtured, equipped, and commissioned to impact the world.

So, instead of just attending church, let’s focus on being firmly planted in the house of God. Dear family in Christ, remember that Jesus came to pave the way and illuminate the path for us. Through His Holy Spirit and God’s grace, which empowers us, we can live in a way that pleases God!

Psalms 92:13 – Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

LIVE WITH GREAT EXPECTATIONS

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

January 3, 2024 – 1/3/2024
1-Unity

3 – Perfect Completion

1 Peter 1:3-5 (NKJV) – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to His abundant mercy, has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4  to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,  five who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

What great expectations! We’ll all be in our prime for eternity. Our bodies will be transformed from mortal to immortal bodies. At the speed of light, we can go from one place in Heaven to another location in Heaven. We will even be able to walk through walls because Jesus did, and we will be like Him.

Declaration: God loves me, and no one can take me out of His hands. My destiny is heaven, and I will live with those expectations promised by my loving God. Hallelujah!

LIVE WITH GREAT EXPECTATIONS

My brothers and sisters, let me encourage you: we have the bread of life! Jesus is the great I am. In Him is everything we need on earth and in heaven. Jesus is the ultimate act of love from God because He sent Him to die for our sins. God didn’t have to do that, and Jesus could have said no to God.

Praise the Lord that both did what They did for us! We should always live with great expectations because of God’s promise. God’s Agape Love is a love that loves without changing. It is a self-giving love that gives without demanding or expecting repayment.

Love is so great that it can be given to the unlovable or unappealing. It is love that loves even when it is rejected. Agape love lives and loves because it wants to; it does not demand or expect repayment from the love given. It gives because it loves; it does not love to receive. That is how God and Jesus love us. Because they love us as they do with their Agape Love, we can be confident living a life with great expectations.
