Revelation 2:11 (NKJV) “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

DO YOU HEAR ME? ~LOVE, GOD

Do you hear God’s voice? He who has an ear can listen and hear God’s voice. Let your ears be made new and opened by the Holy Spirit. As your ears are made new and fresh, you will receive an understanding of His Word. You will listen with affection because he is healing and transforming your heart, resulting in faith.  

Romans 10:17 (NKJV) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  

John 10:27 (NKJV) My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 

The Conqueror who has stood firm in every trial and overcame all his adversaries. Shall not be hurt by the second death, that is, an eternal separation from God and the glory of His power, as what we commonly mean by final perdition. Our Savior, King Jesus, has conquered death.  

1 Corinthians 15:55-58 (NKJV)   55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

You have conquered death because you have the Spirit of the Lord living inside you. You stand with Him everywhere you go, and because you are His, not only have you conquered death, but you also have new ears to hear new revelations that will spring forth in life.

Declaration: I decree that I have new ears to hear the Lord this year. Not only have I conquered death, but I have the faith to listen to every Word the Lord is speaking through His written works, the people around me, and everything that crosses my path shall be heard and claimed in victory with my Lord, King Jesus.

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

BE ABOUT YOUR FATHER’S BUSINESS

Acts 2:42 says, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayers.” God has a chosen path, and we are to change others’ lives for the good and share this life’s journey for their soul.

Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying Him with deep reverence and fear. God works in you, giving you the desire and power to do what pleases Him. You cannot obtain salvation by good works. Only through Jesus Christ can you gain everlasting life, but you do need to be about your Father’s business.

Be a person of prayer and intercession. Be a good and wise steward of the things the Lord has entrusted you with. Depend on the power of God and the protection of God Almighty as you walk your path. Remember, God has given you a “Yes” until He tells you no, so go for it! Steward the covenants you enter and ensure they align with God’s covenants.

DECLARATION: I will be a physical demonstration of the goodness of God in the land of the living. I will walk in the Fear of the Lord and be about my Father’s business daily.

Jesus is the Gate to Heaven

Philippians 2:9 (NKJV) Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.

JESUS IS THE GATE TO HEAVEN

Jesus is the only way to heaven. You must be a born-again Christian who has placed themselves under the rule of King Jesus. In Luke 14:15-18, Jesus told the parable of a man preparing a great feast, and the ones he invited did not attend. 

Luke 14:15-18 (NKJV) 15 Now when one of those who sat at the table with Him heard these things, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God!” 16 Then He said to him, “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, 17 and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’ 18 But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’

Jesus is the Truth, the Way, and the Life! He is the only door by which you can enter heaven!

I encourage you not to be too busy for King Jesus or too busy to agree with Him. Like what He likes and hate what He hates! When you walk in fear of the Lord, God will bless you in all aspects of your life. Brothers and sisters, you can prosper here on Earth and store riches in heaven as you walk your destiny out.

DECLARATION: I will lift my eyes to you, King Jesus, whose throne is in heaven. I will keep my eyes looking to the Lord God Almighty until He shows us His mercy; you must be determined to finish well.

Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

GRACE THROUGH FAITH

God so loved the world that he gave his son to die so we might have life everlasting (John 3:16). Our sins are never too big or wrong for God to forgive us. Know this: God is not mad at you. He’s not waiting for you to mess up so He can squash you.

Ephesians 2:9-10 9 Not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Salvation is not a reward for our good deeds, so none of us can boast about it, for we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

Satan hates it when we know how good God truly is. It shines a very bright spotlight on how evil and demented he is. He hates remembering he is not God and has already lost the battle.

Psalm 103:2-5 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities,  who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction,  who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,  so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Today is the 8th day of February. As you may know, the number eight means new beginnings. Nobody loves new beginnings more than your Maker. He is the God of the second, third, and 490th chances (70 x 7; Matthew 18:22).

While a Western mind tends to think in terms of dispensations or quick, abrupt leaps from one thing to another, a Middle Eastern mind thinks of gradual change through cycles and seasons. God does both. He loves to do things in cycles while consistently advancing and progressing His people into new things.

God steadily moves us into fresh and unspoiled places we never imagined. I love how God does it. As His Spirit leads us, we push the envelope of what we can do and how we can do it until we finally can say what Paul said in Philippians: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

DECLARATION: I will see the manifestation of God’s word produced in my life. Because God’s word never falls dead unto the ground without carrying out what God sent it to do. The goodness of God will take over me and my life.

Genesis 2:7 (NKJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

TIMELINES

God is so faithful and began humanity with Adam and Eve, perfecting and completing it in our generation. Adam and Eve were deceived and messed up by listening to the serpent. We have many voices speaking to us today, and they are very loud and repetitive, and they want to lead you astray and mess you up as well.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I know this is hard for many people to believe, but the earth is young as far as God’s timeline from Adam to this present day is about 6,000 years. 2 Peter 3:8 tells us, “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.” According to the Lord, it has been six days since Adam and Eve. The number six concerns how a man falls short; seven stands for the Spirit of God.

Psalm 39:4-5 “Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am. 5 Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, and my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah

The good news is our spirits are eternal beings, and as children of God, we will live eternally with King Jesus, where the Lord will be the light of heaven 24/7. There will be pure love, joy, peace, and all our heart’s desires, the things we love, and more.

DECLARATION: I declare God’s Spirit of truth and wisdom leads my days. I will walk my purpose and destiny in truth and knowledge.

 Proverbs 2:6 (NKJV) For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

INCLINE YOUR EAR TO WISDOM

Gaining wisdom, My Friend requires you to continue searching things out like a King and ponder on all you read in the Bible. The passages before Proverbs 2:6 show you how to incline your new ear and the process you will go through to gain wisdom:

Proverbs 2:2-5 (NKJV)  2  So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;  3  Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding,  4  If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;  5  Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

Are you ready for it? God is a God of process, strategy, and specific progression.

You and I should be advancing, chasing after upgrades, and transforming in every way possible. Other people depend on us to lead the way. Set the example and live lives of passion and joy, bringing love, joy, and a more profound knowledge of God’s kingdom.

I don’t want to stay the same, and neither should you. Anyone close to God should catch a holy fever to move forward, increase, and upgrade.

Proverbs 8:35 (NKJV): For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.

Psalm 66:1-2 (NKJV)  1  Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!  2  Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.

Proverbs 2:10-12 (NKJV)  10  When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul,  11  Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,  12  To deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things.

Therefore, incline your new ear to the Lord and listen to His teachings within the Bible, and you will find wisdom. A wisdom that will make your heart glad and fill you with joy in His presence.

DECLARATION: I will get wisdom and understanding because they are the principal things, and I will know joy because it comes from our God, who created all things. God’s wisdom and knowledge know no bounds, and I will search it out like a King. Hallelujah!

A COVENANT KEEPING GOD

Zechariah 2:5 (NKJV) – ‘For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

A COVENANT KEEPING GOD

God is a covenant-keeping God. In Deuteronomy 7:9 (NKJV), we are told, “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” We Gentiles were branches from a wild olive tree until God grafted us in.

God also speaks to us through numbers and confirms his plans for his people. Let’s look at Deuteronomy 7:6-8:

Deuteronomy 7:6-8 (NKJV) 6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. 7 The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; 8 but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.

Looking at the meaning of the numbers involved in Deuteronomy 7:6-8 you can see how God keeps His covenant with you. The number seven is The Spirit of God. Seven is the number that marks where God is doing something by His Spirit apart from any other source. The number denotes His rest and where He rules over all things created. Seven is the perfection of the Spirit. God is always doing something in your life.

Now, the number six means The Flesh of Man. Without God, you are constantly walking in opposition against Him. Finally, the number eight means New Beginnings. Eight is the number God uses to illustrate resurrection. It has to do with new birth, new life, and new creation. When God preaches on redemption and makes things alive again; He likes to use the number eight in His Language.

Let me encourage you to be in covenant with God and find favor in His sight. Put God first in all things; bring the whole tithe into the storehouse and serve Him always.

Declaration: My family will be blessed for a thousand generations. I will love the Lord and serve Him with all of my possessions and all that I am.

Philippians 2:4 (NKJV) –Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others.

CARE FOR OTHERS

God wants His people – His church – to be like-minded and full of His joy. King Jesus told us to love one another. If we, as the church, intentionally act in one accord and of one mind, this world would be so different! God is a good Father and wants His children to care for the helpless.

Psalm 68:5 (NKJV) A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

Just as Psalm 68:5 states, God is the Father of the fatherless and the defender of widows. God aims to show orphans mercy, care, and protection. Because these waiting children are essential to Him, they should be crucial to us as His church.

We should defend the weak and the fatherless and uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy. You can join many organizations to help the weak and fatherless without costing you any money.

If every church in the U.S. adopted one child, we would solve the world’s orphan crisis. Be parents of orphans throughout the world. Be the church that truly represents the hands and feet of King Jesus.

The number 24 equals perfect government. Part of God’s perfect government is for the church to step up, take care of orphans and widows, and feed the hungry. My Bride and I started over 28+ years ago rescuing kids and building schools for orphans. You can also heed God’s call to care for the widows and orphans. Start with giving your old clothes away if that is all you have to give. God will bless you.

DECLARATION: I will get good at not only caring for myself. But I will care for others as well. I will help those in need!

GOOD OVERCOMES EVIL

Daniel 2:3 (NKJV) –And the king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”

GOOD OVERCOMES EVIL

Today’s Christians are living in a fallen world. Most days look more like hell than heaven, but believers cannot give up! Think about King Nebuchadnezzar when he was having all those dreams he could not decipher.

Believing he was a god, Nebuchadnezzar put himself in God’s place. It commanded total submission from the people in his land. He allowed them to have many gods and worshiped their pagan gods. When it came to his troubling dreams, none of the pagan people could tell him what his dream meant. Of course, Daniel could interpret the dream for Nebuchadnezzar because he was aware of how God spoke to him, and Daniel knew to ask God, and He would answer.

Job 33:14-17 14 For God may speak in one way, or another, yet man does not perceive it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men while slumbering on their beds, 16 then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction. 17 In order to turn man from his deed and conceal pride from man.

When you wait upon the Lord, He will always supply an answer if it follows His purpose and destiny for you. Think about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego worshiped the only true God in heaven and would not bow to the king’s demands to worship another god. As you know, the king tried to kill Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in a fire heated up in an extreme fire. Jesus came into the fire and delivered them without the smell of smoke on their garments. Man, King Jesus is a bad motor-scooter!

I recommend my book, Good Overcomes Evil, if you have yet to read it. I go over many scenarios that show that “the answer is goodness. When God shows up, He looks like goodness. When God’s people respond to evil, there is a revival of goodness as transforming power…”

My book, Good Overcomes Evil, reveals to us, through His word, about God’s character and most authentic identity. The power of goodness to overcome evil is an undeniable reality. I double-dog dare you to cry out to God when you feel evil entering your life and feel His goodness taking care of everything!

DECLARATION: I will renew my mind with the goodness of God and stand firm against the rising tide of evil in these days. With God, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?

Hello, My Friends! This devotional is going to talk about your mentality when it comes to King Jesus. There are two types of mentalities: Covenant & Kingdom.

A covenant mentality will always produce integrity, reliability, and character – always. Covenant is the only thing in the world that will cause God to respond to you. God does not respond to poverty, sickness, or pain. If He did, every coal miner in West Virginia would be Billy Graham. God responds to faith according to His covenant. If your relationship with God will be based on a covenant, you need to know this: Your job is to Glorify God no matter what.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. ~1 Corinthians 10:31

The Kingdom Mentality is where you know and believe that you are valuable and privileged; you are part of something bigger that will never end. Having a Kingdom mentality makes sure you never go back to what God brought you out of.

The greatest of all commandments was made clear on a bright sunny day; some 2,000 years ago. You remember the scripture passage in Matthew 22: 37-38 when Jesus said, “ 37  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  38  This is the first and great commandment.”

He is willing to step into your thoughts and, piece by piece, item by item, remove the clutter and straighten out the disorder. He is faithful in serving us, so let us be faithful in serving Him. May God bless and invade your soul.

You need to express the love of Christ with your words and deeds. This “knits” us, as believers, closely together in the same Spirit for an intended purpose as we live a life of faith and salvation through Christ Jesus!

Declaration: I will have the same mind as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The love of King Jesus runs through my veins, too, and I have a covenant mentality with Him. I declare that I will focus on God and keep my kingdom mentality. I will always produce integrity, reliability, and sound character because my mindset is built upon the principles of the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.
