Ezekiel 2:1 (NKJV)  And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.”

GOD DIRECTS MY PATH

Ezekiel was a priest unto the Lord and chose to believe the Lord. And as a result, he received the fullness of the Spirit of God. When you walk in obedience and follow God’s planned path for you, life will go smoother than if you chose to ignore the path He set before you and decided to forge your own in the forest.

1 It said, “Son of man, stand up. I have something to say to you.” 2  The moment I heard the voice, the Spirit entered me and put me on my feet. As he spoke to me, I listened. 3-7  He said, “Son of man, I’m sending you to the family of Israel, a rebellious nation if there ever was one. They and their ancestors have fomented rebellion right up to the present. They’re a hard case, these people to whom I’m sending you—hardened in their sin. Tell them, ‘This is the Message of God, the Master.’ They are a defiant bunch. Whether or not they listen, at least they’ll know that a prophet’s been here. But don’t be afraid of them, son of man, and don’t be afraid of anything they say. Don’t be afraid when living among them is like stepping on thorns or finding scorpions in your bed. Don’t be afraid of their mean words or their hard looks. They’re a bunch of rebels. Your job is to speak to them. Whether they listen is not your concern. They’re hardened rebels. ~Ezekiel 2:1-7 (MSG)

Job 28:28 (NKJV) And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, who is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.’”

When I gave my Prophetic Insights Sermon, I asked this world-famous preacher who failed terribly—failed in a world-famous way. I said Sir, what happened to your passion? How did you lose your passion and get into all those bad things? He said, “Oh Troy, I never lost my passion. But I didn’t learn the fear of the Lord until I went to prison.”  The fear of the Lord is a huge thing in this fallen world.

DECLARATION: I will show my love to God by obeying Him. I will draw near to him, and He will draw near to me. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

DESIRE FOR DEVOTION

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORDS

  January 31, 2024 – 1/31/24

  1 – Unity

31 – Offspring or Generations After You

 Isaiah 1:31 (NKJV): The strong shall be as tinder, and the work of it as a spark; Both will burn together, and no one shall quench them.

In Isaiah 1:31, God is speaking of Judah and how it has become a degenerate city because the children of Israel have rebelled against God.  Their sinful acts they are doing causes God to compare Judah to Sodom and Gomorrah.  Oh, how God must have wept over the children He saved and protected for years when they turned to sin over Him.  But how many of us have or are doing the same thing?  Giving into the desires of the flesh instead of focusing your desires on the spirit to help you refrain from sinning?  Only God can quench any desires you have that are burning out of control.

Declaration: I declare and decree that I will keep my eyes on things above and not things of this world.  When I feel my fleshly desires trying to take over, I will cry out to You, Lord, and focus on the desires of the spirit to draw closer to You!

DESIRE FOR DEVOTION

You were born behind the eight-ball because of Adam and Eve. But you were also born for a purpose. That purpose is what God has written just for you! Because of this fallen world, your wants and desires are skewed. What your mind wants to do is the opposite of what you know you should do. Your mind should always be focused on the Lord and staying on the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 says, “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

My Friends, you have the power over the desires of the flesh! God has given you the answer in Galatians 5:16. If you stay focused on walking in the Spirit, then you stay focused on things above and not what this fallen world is telling you to do because it is a backward, woke society we live in now. Stay walking in the Spirit and crying out to the Lord; you will find that you control all your desires, not the flesh.

A REDEMPTION OF HOPE

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

30-Acts of Redemption and Accomplishing Priestly Service

1 Corinthians 1:30 (NKJV) –But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption

A REDEMPTION OF HOPE 

We are made righteous by faith, just like Abraham, whose faith in God was counted for righteousness. But we’ve got an upgrade because Jesus cemented the deal! We can put our hope in Him with the full expectation of seeing it come to fruition.

Redemption is the ultimate game-changer. Redemption is God’s plan for transforming all created things. Jesus brings Redemption when He’s invited into a place and changes everything. To be redeemed is to be forgiven, made holy, justified, free, adopted, and reconciled.

We have to make a big deal out of redemption! It’s the central theme of the entire Bible. The skies tell a prophetic story, declaring the Glory of God. It’s what Jesus Christ came to bring and who He became: REDEMPTION!

Through the transformational power of redemption, messed up minds become gifted for learning; shameful and pitiful people become honored and confident, and those who only knew the despair of a life without Jesus now know how to hope in the Lord. Changing ordinary healthy water into the best wine you’ve ever tasted is precisely what an act of redemption looks like. This, the very first miracle of the 37 biblically recorded miracles of King Jesus, shows us exactly what Jesus was supernaturally commissioned, or anointed, to bring into our lives.

He changed something ordinary into something extraordinary. He changed a place and time of sadness into a place and time of great joy. He changed the situation from not having nearly enough to having enough. He changed a shameful situation of lack and disappointment into a highly honorable situation of opulence and dreams coming true. Redemption changes everything. 

Declaration: I will put my hope in the Lord and not be ashamed. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Though I am in the world, I will not be of the world – I am righteous in God by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

PRIVILEGE OF TRUSTING IN CHRIST

Philippians 1:29 (NKJV) – Philippians 1:29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him but also to suffer for His sake.

PRIVILEGE OF TRUSTING IN CHRIST

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV) 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

God will give us wisdom and knowledge in abundance if we ask. It is so essential to get understanding from God for your life and the situation you may face.

In Genesis, when God asks Abraham to bring his son Isaac to be put on the altar to be burned as a sacrifice, he obeys God. Abraham placed the wood for the burnt offering on Isaac’s shoulders while he carried the fire and the knife. Once Abraham and Isaac reached the altar, they found that God provided the lamb, and Abraham returned home with his son Isaac. God was seeing if Abraham was willing to obey God’s instructions.

To God, we are the pearl of great price. The Bible tells us, “The kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. Excitedly, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field. Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it.”

A revelation of how God works with time is significant. Time and numbers are essential to God; He uses them to give us vital information. He talks to us all the time, and this is one of the methods he uses. He reveals things to us, leads us, and communicates to us things about our destiny.

We mean so much more to God than we think. He put himself in us and God is love. Love should be what drives our every action.

Jesus’ death on the cross is the great price that was paid for you. Back when I was in grade school the first book I read was Pearl of Great Price. It was a children’s book, and it greatly impacted my life. And this subject has always been a theme throughout my life and ministry. You can also find the hidden treasure God has for your life!

DECLARATION: I will get wisdom and knowledge from God and go through the transforming process to be great in the kingdom of God. Hallelujah!

28-Times and Seasons

Philippians 1-27-28 (NKJV) – 27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.

GET UP!

Come on, man, Get Up!! You’ve got to pass this test! Did you know courage is listed in the Bible 28 times? There are also 28 times and seasons spoken of in Ecclesiastes. Did you know the Bible says of the Cross 28 times?

That’s guaranteed victory every time and season you go through! Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified, and do not be discouraged, for the Lord will go with you wherever you go.

Psalms 37:37 (NKJV) tells you to “Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.” Wherever you go, King Jesus is with you, so gird up your loins with the truth! Suck it up, buttercup, and put your big boy pants on!

We’ve got an assignment, and the body of King Jesus needs you! So GO GO GO GO!! Because you are already on the winning team.

Declaration: I declare in the Might Name of King Jesus that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because I am an overcomer. Victory is mine because God goes before me.

27-Things Unveiled and Revealed in God’s Presence/Light of Truth

Colossians 1:27-29 (NKJV) – 27 To them God willed to make known what the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles are: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.  29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

LIVE A RESCUED LIFE

Each day, choose to align your mind and will with the things that are above, guided by Jesus. Let God’s teaching dwell in you richly within your heart. Then you will lead a transformed life through Christ Jesus.

I’m a transformation junkie and a drop-dead sold-out Jesus Freak. Why? Because it’s a key theme in the Bible. When God gets involved, when He touches a life, everything changes. I think it’s essential for you and me, as Christians, to live lives that show how we’ve been rescued.

God desperately wants to give you a vision for something better – a plan for you to achieve and then give you the ability to maintain what He gives you. God designed His people so we’re happiest when setting and achieving goals. Destiny vs History…The goodness of God is not just seen in the past. It is calling from further. People who fight for what can be understood that God says their destiny is much greater than their history.

Declaration: I will live a rescued life testifying to the goodness and resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Just as King Jesus instructed in Matthew 19:26, I will stay focused on the fact that whatever comes against me, everything is possible with God!

I AM NOT LEAVING THE CAMP OF JESUS

Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV) –26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them.  28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

I AM NOT LEAVING THE CAMP OF JESUS

 When God created man and woman, He called it good. However, Adam and Eve chose to listen to a snake, the Cosmic Punk himself, instead of listening to the one rule God told them in the Garden of Eden.

By Genesis Chapter 6:5-6, “5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.”

Men and women were totally without restraint, running wild. No one was governing the earth as God had told them to do. Instead, they were polluting the earth and doing every wicked thing.

Genesis 6:7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

It is the greatest, most heinous act of treason when we partner with the seed of rebellion. We must have the Fear of the Lord – We must love what God loves and hate what God hates. You must decide in your heart that regardless of what happens, you will say, “I’m not leaving the camp of King Jesus.”

Declaration: I will seek the Lord while He may be found. I will call upon Him while He is near. I will forsake all wicked ways and thoughts in my life. I will return to the Lord so that He may have compassion on me.

Luke 1:25 (NKJV) – “Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.”

YOUR GRACE, GOD’S PROVISION

Reproach is a strong word and a very intense feeling toward someone. Have you ever had someone express their disapproval or disappointment with you? Have you ever expressed those feelings toward others? It is easy to pass judgment on someone even though we know we should not because it is God’s job to judge people.

But we have a loving God, and just as Luke 1:25 says, He does deal with us when He looks upon us, but He has also restored us and removed any judgment others have passed upon us.

That is amazing! God loves our humanity, and the number twenty-five is what God stamps on us when He restores us. The number twenty-five is the number of grace multiplied by five (5 x 5).

In my book, Numbers That Preach, I found that “somehow 25 means God will perform the things He gave you grace for.”

What are you missing out in life because of the lack of prayer and perseverance? The Bible tells us to persevere and do the will of God. Then, you will receive what He has promised.

DECLARATION: When the Lord comes to visit me, I will say to the Lord. May it be done unto me as you say. And I will persevere until I receive what was promised to me.

24- Perfect Government Made Manifest

Matthew 24:24 (NKJV) –For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

JESUS WARNED US

Jesus warned us to be aware of fake news in the last days.

The categories of Messiah and Prophet are not just religious. A false messiah is a leader who rises and promises, “The answer is here.” They are the face of a movement that deceives you away from truth into something demonic and false. A false prophet projects the future or trends that point to or validate that false messiah.

There is a spirit that goes behind Fake News. With every prophetic medium (news media) there is a spirit behind it.

1 John 4:1-6 (NKJV) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  2 By this, you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, three and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world. 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.  5 They are of the world. Therefore, they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.  6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this, we see the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

In John 4: 1-6, Paul warned Timothy of false teachers and a spirit of Apostasy in the end times. The word apostasy means the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief. These are people who know the word of God, maybe have even preached the word of God, but have fallen away. These people are way more dangerous than non-believers because they know enough of the truth to get into your head and plant a lie. What should believers do to keep from falling for these wolves in sheep’s clothing? Read what Jude 1 says and start living your life like it and you will have the spiritual eyes to see the truth from the fake news.

Jude 1:20-23 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Declaration: I declare in the Mighty Name of Jesus that I will hold fast to the Word of King Jesus. I will stay in constant communion with the Holy Spirit, stay in the Love of God, and look for the mercy of the Lord Jesus unto eternal life.

DON’T GO BACK

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

23-Being In the Presence of God (+) / Death (-)

Colossians 1:23 (NKJV)  – If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

DON’T GO BACK

The number twenty-three in my book, Numbers That Preach, says, “It’s the number formed from 10 + 13. In the negative, it’s how God brings His perfect order to men’s rebellion: judgment of death through the Law. In the positive, it’s associated with being in the presence of God.”

Romans 1:28-32 28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;  29  being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,  30  backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;  32  who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

If you have missed the mark and need God’s forgiveness to go forward, repent, turn around, and never return to the old. Living a life forward focused on King Jesus and nothing else will help you in your daily walk, but you must choose to die to yourself daily.

DECLARATION: I declare I am in and can never return to what God has brought me out of. I will keep my eyes on King Jesus and die daily to myself.
