APOCALYPSE NOW!

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I am hiding in plain sight waiting for you to ask for a personal encounter with me. I wish to be found by you and to be known by you, just as I know you. Ask for eyes to see Me.

APOCALYPSE, NOW!

The face of Jesus is not an image. It’s a personal revelation. The word “revelation” means personal, supernatural recognition. Revelation is literally the word “apocalypse.” Our society has a wrong understanding of what apocalypse means.

The definition of “apocalypse” is not total destruction or the end of the world as we know it. Apocalypse means “the unveiling.” It means to reveal something, like pulling a blanket off of something hidden under it.

How Jesus Christ is revealed to us is not through an image. Jesus Christ is revealed to us is through the Ta-Da! It’s the light bulb moment – the moment of clarity – the epiphany. It’s a bombshell, a lightning bolt, and it’s always personal. Always.

Have you had a personal experience with the Lord Jesus lately? Would you recognize it if you did? Look for Him. He shows up in new and different ways every time, but you will recognize one thread that runs through all Jesus encounters: Goodness.

Look for goodness, love, service and selflessness. Jesus is generally hanging out around those things. If you want to see Him, tell Him you want an apocalypse, now! He would love to unveil where He’s been hiding in plain sight.

Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. – Luke 24:30-31

TOWER OF THE FLOCK

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I did not come into the world to condemn it, but to save it. I do not condemn you. My Father is not mad at you. He has put the deposit of the Holy Spirit in you as proof of His love and My sacrifice. You are saved through My blood. Go and sin no more.

TOWER OF THE FLOCK

There’s an obscure prophecy about the birth of Jesus that’s not just about the town of Bethlehem, it nails down Messiah’s birth to the square foot. You might not have heard this before, but it’s in the book of Micah.

“And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, even the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.” – Micah 4:8

It’s a prophecy that the Messiah would be born not only in Bethlehem, but in the “Tower of the Flock.” So, what is that?

The Tower of the Flock belonged to Shepherd’s Field – the same exact field where David grew up watching sheep and having crazy cool encounters with God. You need to know, the shepherds in this field were not normal. They were part of the Levitical priesthood.

Their job was to watch as lambs were born. If a lamb had no spot or blemish, it was worthy for sacrifice. If it was spotless, they swaddled it – they wrapped it up to protect it from getting bruised.

Let me tell you what they wrapped it in. They wrapped it up in the bloody priestly garment. Why? Whenever they took a lamb to be sacrificed, there might have been hundreds of Levitical priests out slaughtering animals. Every time their garments were spotted, they had to change.

So what do you do with all those robes? You rip them up and use them as wicks in the Menorah of the house of God. The light that was burning was lit by the blood-stained garments of the priests. There’s a huge revelation in that.

They also used them to wrap newborn lambs, then take them to the Tower of the Flock. They laid the lambs down, then lit a fire on top of the tower to let the priests know there was a lamb worthy to be slain.

Connect the dots. Jesus was born in the Tower of the Flock – where the priests placed lambs worthy to be slain. And a star arose on the top of it – a supernatural fire – that came from heaven saying, “There is One who is supernatural, not just to hide the sins of the world, but to take away the sins of the world.”

Now it makes sense that the angels appeared to the shepherds. It was their job to let everybody know a lamb worthy to be slain has been born! They were the only ones truly qualified.

So, on Christmas morning, the angels of the Lord show up to them and say, “Listen, I’ve got great news for you! Good tidings, good will to men…You will find the Child wrapped in swaddling clothes laying in a manger.”

You gotta know the shepherds knew exactly where that was because they went there all the time! They ran to the Tower of the Flock, which was prophesied 700 years earlier. Now, here’s the difference between Jesus and all those thousands of spotless lambs.

Jesus wasn’t laying where all the other lambs were. He was laying in the feeding trough where they fed the other lambs. Why? Because He is the Bread of Life from John 6:35! Hallelujah! Like manna, Jesus is an indescribable gift from heaven. Let Him fill your life today so you will never be hungry for goodness or mercy ever again.

HOUSE OF BREAD

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I came so that you might have life and life more abundantly. I Am the Bread of Life that sustains you, especially when trials and temptations hit. I prepare a table in the presence of your enemies. Sit. Eat. You will never hunger again as I fill you with my Spirit.

THE HOUSE OF BREAD

At Christmas, I like to thank God for His indescribable gift of Jesus. But there’s something else in the Bible that is indescribable, and that’s manna.

“And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as the frost on the ground. So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was…And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.” – Exodus 16:14-15, 31

The word “manna” literally means, “What is it?” It was bread that fell from heaven and couldn’t be defined or explained. It was supernatural and natural at the same time.

Exactly like the Savior the Bible foretold would be born in Bethlehem. That baby would be supernatural and natural at the same exact time – 100 percent God and 100 percent man at the same exact time. Jesus was a natural piece of “bread” that didn’t come from earth. He actually came from heaven, and He was born in what city? Bethlehem.

But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” – Micah 5:2

The name Bethlehem means “house of bread.” That’s a big deal. So why was it prophesied that Messiah would be born in a city called the “house of bread”? Because He is supernatural and natural at the same time ,just like manna.

Manna is a type and a shadow for Jesus Christ. It’s something that shows up every single day of your life and you don’t know where it comes from, how it got there, but He’s there and your life is good because of that. You go through things that ought to kill you, but this power of God that shows up on a daily basis and manifests – well, you know how to walk it out, but you don’t know how to explain it to anybody.

Well, that’s Jesus. He said it himself in the book of John:

“…I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” – John 6:35

He, like manna, is an indescribable gift from Heaven. This Christmas, thank God for the gift of Jesus!

THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

You are my treasure, and I yours. You never have to share My time, attention or love with anyone else. You have it all because it is limitless. Sit with Me and let the Spirit of Truth bring to your mind all the things I’ve said to you.

THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT

If you are able to describe the power of God within your life, you don’t have the power of God your life. Because of this, it is so important you and I tap into some things that are, in fact, indescribable.

One of the reasons so much of the power and the gifts of God are so indescribable is because they are unique to each of us. They don’t belong to anybody else.

The principle of uniqueness is so important because it has to do with intimacy – things that are personal. I’ll tell you this, there’s a big part of my walk with God that is personal. It doesn’t belong to anybody else.

Do you know that some of the most powerful things in your life are only going to belong to you and they’re not going to belong to anyone else? Religion doesn’t teach you that.

You go to a religious church and they’ll tell you that we’re all suppose to have the same exact walk. They’ll tell you there’s not supposed to be any diversity among us whatsoever – nothing unique, we all look, talk, act and dress the same. Boloney!

What’s real is, God isn’t doing the same thing within all of us. Yes, He saved us all through the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, but you and I are not trying to be saved anymore. Now we’re trying to live like we’re saved!

And how I walk that out is going to look different from how you walk that out. You demonstrate Jesus in ways that I don’t and vice versa. Why? Because you’ve experienced Jesus in a whole different way than I have, and it’s awesome!

It’s indescribable.

Praise be to God for His indescribable gift. – 2 Corinthians 9:15

Jesus is our indescribable gift. When we learn one thing about Him, He gives us five more glimpses we need to search out. How are you experiencing Him right now? If you can’t answer that, ask Him for a revelation of who He is to you and be prepared for the Ta-Da!

A NEW NORMAL

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Kingdom living is full of My Spirit! Live empowered by Him! In My name and with My love and goodness, speak life into the dead places of this world.

A NEW NORMAL

Do you want to create a new normal for your family? One that includes a Kingdom worldview and reliance on the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

I’ll tell you what, I’m going to pass down something better to my children. Every person who works for me is going to be happy that they work for me. Everywhere I go, I’m going to help, bless and encourage people. God Almighty is going to give me some amazing ways to answer the darkness of my generation with His goodness.

My life could be so different. Before the Lord raised me up to be the guy pastoring a church and stomping all over the world doing mission work, I was seriously messed up and enslaved by the enemy. I lacked the love and leadership of Jesus. So did you.

What you need to grasp is, you now have a green light to do whatever you want for the Kingdom of God – missions, teaching Sunday School, feeding the poor or freeing slaves. Go and don’t stop. That’s what I do. I don’t know how much longer I have on this earth, and I want to go a lot further. I’m still passionate.

There is a little girl who is tied up in sexual slavery on the other side of the world, and she has no idea I’m coming to rescue her. I can’t do that if I hang around with the knuckleheads I used to hang around with and live the life I used to live.

You and I have been empowered to bring Heaven to this earth and that’s what Promised Land living is all about. Let that be your new normal and hand a legacy of salvation to 1,000 generations.

In the way of righteousness where is life; along that path is immortality.                 – Proverbs 12:28

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO PUT YOUR FAMILY ON THE PATH TO BEING WORLD CHANGERS. RESCUE THE LOST AND HURTING FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS.

TODAY COULD BE YOUR “SOME DAY”

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

What’s the one place where you feel defeated the most? That is where I am. I will give you strength in that area. I will make you an overcomer. Lay it down. The battle is Mine!

TODAY COULD BE YOUR         “SOME DAY”

You need to understand that while redemption is yours, redemption is not at work in every area of your life.

If you’re saved, your spirit is 100 percent redeemed, but your mind is in the process of being redeemed. Some day, your body is going to be redeemed.

Some day. You have the promise of someday and that day is up to you.

There are parts of your promised land – marriage, finances, wants, relationships – where there are still Philistines (enemies) in your land and they need to be dealt with. They are not going away. They’re not just going to pack up and say they don’t want this place anymore.

No, you’re going to have to kill them. You’re going to have to chase them down and cut the heads off of debt, infidelity, trust issues, selfishness, unbelief or whatever you’re thorns and thistles are.

You may not feel like a warrior, but if you’re tired of the thorns in your life, you’ve got to chop them down. You may look at the task ahead and say, “Lord, that field’s too big for me. I’m not smart enough. What if all I get from my efforts is a bunch more weeds?”

That’s where redemption will meet you. It shows up when you start hauling off the rocks and tearing out the thorns. It shows up when you get committed about an area of your life you want to put under the King’s dominion.

It takes action and effort to bring redemption to the strongholds of your life. Are you willing to go there? Can you do what it takes to plow dead things up so that Jesus can redeem them? Now that’s a harvest worth working for.

For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem. “Break up your fallow ground and do not sow among thorns.”  – Jeremiah 4:3

JESUS WEPT

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I Am fully God and fully man. I have felt your pain and carried your shame. I despised the shame of the cross. Despise your shame enough to give it to me. I give you beauty for the ashes of shame.

JESUS WEPT

Known as the shortest verse in the Bible, John 11:35, is also one of the most debated. Why did Jesus weep?

Some say is was because He hates death and didn’t wish it upon His friend. Others that the broken hearts of Lazarus’ sister were too much for Him to bear. Still others have said He wept because He knew He was going to call His friend back from heaven to this life of pain and trouble.

Here’s my theory on one of the first questions I’ll ask Jesus when I’m breathing Heaven’s air. What if Jesus is heartbroken, not because of the death of Lazarus, or the sorrow of Mary and Martha? What if their unbelief broke His heart?

With Lazarus in the tomb four days, Martha ran out to meet Jesus, whom she acknowledges, is late.

Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” – John 11:21-26

Jesus gets all revved up when Martha, who has a habit of missing the “right now,” actually gets it when she says, “God will give you whatever you ask.” She then blows it with, “I know he will rise again on the last day.” While she’s almost on the same page with Jesus, Martha defaults back to “some day you will be powerful. Some day you will be God.”

Crack! So he sends for Mary because Mary gets it. Mary always gets Jesus. However, this time she’s on the same page as her sister.

“Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” – John 11:32

Crack! At this point, Jesus “groans in the spirit and was troubled.” He asks where Lazarus’ body is, then begins to weep. It’s my theory that Jesus is not crying because Lazarus is dead. I think He is heartbroken because He is the only person on the planet who believes He is God in the flesh. He is the only person who has faith that Lazarus will be raised from the dead RIGHT NOW!

He wanted so badly for them to get it – to share His power and identity with them, but they missed it. It’s my theory that it broke his heart.

What if Jesus wept because there was nobody who would partner with Him in the miracle He was about to perform? Don’t let that be you. Today is your some day. Partner with Jesus in the miracles He has for your life right now.

JESUS RIDES THE SUBWAY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I stand at the door an knock. Do you hear My voice? I want to you recognize both My voice and My face. The veil was torn so that you could know Me. I am inviting you into knowing and being known.

JESUS RIDES THE SUBWAY

You and I have two different responsibilities when it comes to the Word of God and His image. It works like this: You can put His Word into stone but you cannot put His image into stone.

That means you can absolutely bank on what God says – His Word – but you cannot bank on how God is going to show up – His image. He’ll show up however He wants to show up in, wherever He wants to show up, in whatever way He wants to show up.

The reason why? We don’t need to put the way we think God shows up into stone because we will form denominations and cause divisions. We do love to worship images.

Humans are tripped out, and we’re in desperate need of a Savior. When God Almighty defined for us, “I don’t want you worshipping an image. I want you putting My Word into stone, but I do not want you putting My image into stone because I want to show you a new face all the time.”

Concerning His kingdom and of His peace, there shall be no end. – Isaiah 9:7

There is this really cool song that illustrates this point. I sing “Jesus Rides the Subway” at our Easter concert every year because it is important for you and I to understand Jesus still shows His face to us today. His presence shows up and we often miss it because we’ve made it into an idol. One of the verses says,

“Jesus came to church last Sunday, Sat at the back and sang a hymn

Jesus came to church last Sunday, and nobody recognized Him”

Why? Because we worship images and we don’t recognize how the Lord is showing up around us. I want Him to show up in my life. I need Jesus to personally drop in and clean up my messes, and set things in order. So do you. Would you recognize His face if He did? Run into His presence so you can truly know Him.

WICKED IS GOOD?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Welcome my presence and watch the atmosphere change around you. Bring the increase of Heaven into all you do and watch hearts be changed.

WICKED IS GOOD?

The prophet Isaiah foretold the very day we are living in.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.  – Isaiah 5:20

On an airplane from Dubai, I heard something that sent a chill down my spine. The movie, The Maze Runner, was playing and the words hissed through the headphones: wicked is good.

Because we live in a day where there’s love for the devil and a hatred for Jesus,

when you represent the name of Jesus, you will be called a hater and bad. There are people coming after me and you with intense persecution, and it will only increase in the days to come.

If you stand with Jesus and the truth, you will be hated among men – Jesus Christ Himself declared that in Matthew 10:22-24.

Because we live in a day where evil is called good, the demonic organization called Black Lives Matter is being called historical heroes. Because we live in a day where there is sympathy for the devil and hatred for Jesus, the monster who murdered our police officers in Dallas is called a hero by that same organization.

Bruce is called Caitlyn. Law abiding gun owners are called a threat. Israel has been called the children of monkeys and Palestinians are given the Nobel Peace Prize. Illegal aliens waving foreign flags and destroying American property are called responsible American citizens. Islam is called a religion of peace.

Alarmed? Just know this: The sky is not falling. The Kingdom is coming. In order for Jesus to come back on His white horse leading the armies of heaven, this moral decline has to happen. So what do we do?

Rush into the flames and pull out POWs trapped in sin and bondage to Satan! Take them to meet our Fearless Leader Jesus. He is mighty to save. Don’t sit on your blessed assurance and watch this world burn. Put out the flames with the goodness of God and the love of Jesus. It’s good to be hated for loving Jesus.

THE PROMISE OF MILK AND HONEY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Step into the land I have promised to you and find victory. When you are walking with Me, I will hide you under My wings. That is where the enemy cannot find you.

THE PROMISE OF MILK AND HONEY

When you learn to hang on to the promises of God, you take God’s commitment to you seriously. You learn He’s that good!

Doesn’t it make you want to find out what those promises are and start living by them? Those things are gifts from a loving Daddy for your edification. He’s teaching you where to stand – on His promises.

Yes, standing on the promises of God glorifies Him. There is no better place to be than firmly planted on His goodness, His commitment to you and His plan for your life. What? Those promises are all to bring you to your purpose – your Promised Land.

In the Promised Land, the battles you fight are for vision and purpose, not survival. The Promised Land is way past survival. There are too many Christians living in survival mode right now. They don’t know, or have forgotten, the promises of God.

Jesus tells us not to worry about what we’re going to eat or wear. He’s not saying to not be responsible for what you eat and wear, but He’s telling you to not live your life as a survivor. Without a knowledge of God’s promises for your life, that’s all you are – a survivor.

Not me. I have studied the scriptures and go after each and every upgrade by standing on the rock solid promises of my Abba Father. I remind Him of them and He smiles every time I do because that’s when He can truly use me for His purposes.

How about you? Do you know the promises of God and how to activate them for your Promised Land? Don’t just survive, thrive by accepting these gifts with a grateful heart. The promise of milk and honey is for you, today.

And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites – a land flowing with milk and honey. – Exodus 3:17
