GREATER THINGS
You were created to bring Glory to My name. Use the gifts I’ve given you to bring many into My Kingdom. I see the desires of your heart and know that lifting My name high is your greatest pleasure and priority. Now, go!
GREATER THINGS
Jesus is all about more, better and upgrade. He likes greater things and so should you.
I love when the Bible says,
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
And it really gets me when Jesus says,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” – John 14:12
This is what Jesus is saying: “Here’s what’s real, I’ve done some pretty cool things, but I’m releasing you to do even greater things than I have done.”
I can I tell you, you ain’t going to do those things if you’re afraid you’re going to get into trouble. You’re going to have to be passionate and full of the love of God to accomplish those greater things Jesus is talking about.
I want you to know here at OpenDoor, you’re part of a tribe that celebrates you. Cuz’ we’re all weird, we’re all strange. We all come from different backgrounds, we all come from different things. And you know what? We’re going to love and encourage each other.
Whenever you see the kingdom operating in someone’s life, whether it’s something church-y or something that has nothing to do with church, if it’s the kingdom, you need to celebrate it because it glorifies the King.
Only then will you be released to do those greater things Jesus spoke of. Let’s not compete against each other or covet the ministry or favor a brother or sister in Christ is walking in. Those are their greater things.
Only you can do the greater things Jesus has in store for you. Are you willing to go after them? Start by doing everything to the glory of God.

NATURAL OR SUPERNATURAL?
You were made for such a time as this. These are the days of miracles. These are the days of signs and wonders. My Spirit living in you is My supernatural promise that what I did, you too can do – today.
NATURAL OR SUPERNATURAL?
So many Christians don’t understand why they don’t see signs, miracles and wonders. Because they don’t see these things, they assume God is no longer in the business of the supernatural.
But those of us who roll up our sleeves and get dirty in the ditches of people’s lives know better. The greatest way you can get the supernatural power of God in your life is to stop living a natural life.
It ain’t natural to forgive folks. If you get committed to the Lord and start forgiving folks, that’s not natural. Bitterness, anger and revenge – now those are natural to us. Forgiveness? Well, that takes some supernatural strength.
It is not natural for a church to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars helping people who will never ever attend that church.
Because we’re feeding people who will never darken our doorway, and we do it with no strings attached, we’re setting ourselves and the people we serve up for big time miraculous things. Just hang out at the OpenDoor Food Bank and watch the healings, new jobs and financial miracles bust out around you.
It’s not natural to rescue, love and raise hundreds of children who aren’t yours. But because we’re very joyfully loving on little boys and girls who will never go to this church, the power of God shows up and we see signs, and miracles, and wonders.
Want to see God show up? Want to experience the supernatural? Get off your blessed assurance and help someone! Be the goodness of God to a world in desperate need of a miracle.
This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. – Hebrews 2:3-4

MAKING MUCH
I love it when abide in my provision. I own the cattle on a thousand hills and enjoy sharing My riches with you. Your reliance on Me not only strengthens our relationship, it is a shining light for all to see.
MAKING MUCH
I cannot say it enough – dependency is a really big deal to Father God. When Adam and Eve disobeyed their good daddy and said, “We’re going to do things our way, thank you very much,” it broke Father God’s heart. He loves to take care of His kids!
Here’s the kicker: if you don’t learn to depend on God, the trapdoor will continue to fall out from under you. You will end up back in the wilderness over, and over again and wonder, “Why is this happening to me? Seems like I’ve been here before.” You have and there’s a lesson you have to learn before you get your Promised Land upgrade.
In his book “Radical,” David Platt said something in the chapter titled, “The Importance of Relying on God’s Power” that really rocked my world:
“God delights in using ordinary Christians to come to the end of themselves and choose to trust in His extraordinary provision. He stands ready to allocate His power to all who are radically dependent upon Him and radically devoted to making much of Him.”
Man, that’s powerful to me. I read that over and over again, and I’ve been thinking, “Lord, I want to be, and remain, so radically devoted to making much of You. I want to make a big deal out of You in every single part of my life, Lord. I want to make a big deal out of You in my thinking, my want life, my finances, my travel, how I associate with and relate to people – King Jesus, Sir, I want to make a big deal out of You!”
When you are dependent on your father, you don’t take credit for what he provides you. You don’t drive his car then say, “I paid for this and it is mine.” That would be crazy! You would let everyone who asked know it’s your daddy’s car and he makes the payments, keeps it clean, and in good working order, thank you very much!
In the same way, make much of what your Abba in heaven has given you. Stop fighting and let Him be your provider, your source. Brag on Him so others will see you are a beloved child of the King.

YOUR EXODUS
My grace is sufficient for you. It gives you the ability to overcome hardship, pain, addictions and all this world throws at you. You cannot earn it. It is My gift to you.
YOUR EXODUS
It’s only by the grace of God that you can come out of anything. I know this from experience because I’ve come out of a bunch of things.
I’ve come out of Marlboro country and I want to tell you something, it was a lot harder to quit smoking than it was to quit smoking dope. I’m talking about hardcore hard. Once I quit smoking, I gained 150 pounds. Then, I had to have the grace of God to lose that weight.
God blessed me with a grace and I quit those things. But man, I had to have the power of God to overcome them. The grace of God is the power – the God-given ability – to overcome, to get past or to come out of something. You could call it an “exit” or “exodus.”
It’s the grace of God that brings your exodus into your life. The number in the Bible that represents grace is the number five. Any time you see grace, God likes to stamp the number five on it.
In Genesis 15:9 God establishes His covenant with Abraham by five sacrifices. In 1 Samuel 17:45 David picked up five smooth stones to defeat Goliath. In Exodus 30:23 the holy anointing oil was made of five ingredients. The word “Christ” is found in the Bible 555 times. Moses brought the Hebrews out of Egypt in ranks of five.
“Don’t let them come out any way they want to, but they have to come out in ranks of five.” – Exodus 13:18
If they came out of bondage in ranks of five – grace – so do you! It is the grace of God that enables you to come out from addiction, depression, pornography, anger, financial bondage, loneliness, fear, unbelief, selfishness. What is your stronghold? What do you need to overcome. Ask the Lord for your exodus and go after it!

RUN TO JESUS
God is speaking courage into you. To move into your Promised Land you will have giants who try to keep you from advancing. No matter how loud it roars, know God is bigger. Trust in God’s promises as you advance into the place He has for you.
RUN TO JESUS
If you’re like me, you get tempted to run away from God. If you are going to get your upgrade and go to the next level, you cannot rebel in your wilderness experience – which is easy to do as the wilderness is hard!
Instead, you must run to Him!
The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. – Proverbs 18:10
How you act in the wilderness determines if you spend 40 days like Jesus did, or 40 years, like Moses. It is really up to you!
It is so important we learn to live and be happy in God’s presence, because in the wilderness, the battle is about survival. In the Promised Land, it is about advancing.
The enemy of dreaming, of creativity and forward, is survival. God wants you to get through your wilderness so you can get past surviving and get on with thriving. To do this, the enemy must be displaced from the places God has given you as an inheritance.
Know this: that place of inheritance is in God’s amazing presence in the wilderness. It’s where He changes you from a helpless slave to an overcoming warrior.
Instead of learning how to protect yourself, God wants to teach you how to fight. To battle for His promises, His goodness, hearing His voice and for territory in which to glorify Him. He wants to make you dangerous to the enemy and willing to fight for more of Him.
Do you want to be a warrior? Learn to fight through prayer and by searching for the heart of the King of Kings. Run to Him!

WHAT’S IN YOUR GARDEN?
I get so excited when I see you following My example and sowing seeds of life in the hearts of men. Water them with conviction, correction and love. I Am the Lord of the Harvest. I will bring in the crop for My glory, but give you the credit for a job well done.
WHAT’S IN YOUR GARDEN?
Having kingdom objectives is so important. Kingdom objectives are knowing God’s will and God’s heart.
We need to be like King David and be people after God’s heart. We need to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and say, “Okay, if Jesus was ruling and reigning in the fullest capacity right here, what would that look like and what can I do to make that happen?”
Kingdom strategies are also important. Kingdom strategies are God’s ways and values. These are the things you make a big deal out of and the things you don’t make a big deal out of. If you don’t make a big deal out of something, it’s because it’s not a part of your strategy.
If you have a million different strategies on how you’re going to reach your own family, or how you’re going to reach your city for Jesus, let me tell you, your field will be messed up. The Bible is clear on this. It says if you sow different kinds of seeds into a field, it ruins the fruit.
“Well, I’ll just throw a cucumber and a ‘mater side by side and it’ll be alright.” No, it won’t because they’ll cross pollinate and what they’ll produce is not good fruit. Kingdom strategies are the plan of what to plant, when and where.
Now, you need some Kingdom tactics – Godly actions and steps. This is where the rubber hits the road. We are to be “doers of the word” – that means people of action. Carry out that plan and see how God reaps the harvest, because He will!
But you and I have to do our part. Want to see your family saved? Want to see your friends and coworkers walking with Jesus? Get your act together and get some Kingdom objections, strategies and tactics. What’s in your garden?
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. – James 1:22-24

THE MOST IMPORTANT MIRACLE
I purchased you with a price. Your life belongs to Me, though I have given you free will to accept My love or reject it. Love does not demand it’s own way.
THE MOST IMPORTANT MIRACLE
Out of all the miracles God has done through anyone throughout the centuries, there is one miracle that all miracles hinge on. When you get the message in the miracle, it changes how you see things and even who you are.
This miracle has to be true or all of Christianity is not real. This miracle is the deciding factor and the simplest litmus test in proving if the deity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is fact or fantasy, truth or fable.
One miracle separates Jesus from every man ever born. It is despised by the critics and reviled in demonic realms. It is the miracle we celebrate every Easter – the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul testified to the importance of the resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15 when he wrote:
“If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.” – 1 Corinthians 15:14
But then Paul triumphantly declared, “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
You see, Jesus Christ slapped death in the face and that makes His credentials as God irrefutable. No wonder people don’t want to believe in the resurrection. If Jesus is God, then we have to obey Him! Most of us simply don’t want to.
We are our own God. We do as we wish without thinking twice about the one who not only created us, but saved us. Is that you? Are you living for yourself and ignoring Christ? Have you said a prayer but never let it get into your heart that you owe your life – especially the way you live it – to Jesus?
Today is a good day to remember when and how Jesus saved you. Remember the miracle of Him raising you from the dead and thank Him for His indescribable gift by living for Him.

PUT A BAG OVER IT
Like moths to a flame, people are attracted to My presence in your life. I’m so pleased when you carry My presence wherever you go. Be filled with my Spirit and testify of My love and redemption.
PUT A BAG OVER IT!
When the Bible says to let your light shine before all men, it ain’t kidding! Moses is the poster child for this verse. Check this out…
“Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.” – Exodus 34:29
When brother Moses came down from the mountain of God, his face glowed in the dark! And here’s the deal: Moses never saw it on himself. Everybody else saw it on him, but Moses couldn’t see his own radiance from being in God’s presence.
He glowed so much, they asked him to put a bag over his head. That is in the Bible. Read it! Exodus 34:30 says his own brother was afraid of Moses’ shine.
Can I tell you something? God’s not impressed with people who want you to put a bag over your head because you look too much like Jesus and they just can’t be comfortable around you. The people of God need to stop making it taboo for you to have an extraordinary walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Why is it offensive to them? Because of this: How you live in private manifests in public. You don’t think they can see it – you don’t see it, but people can see what you’re like behind closed doors, and they don’t like seeing people who are not like them.
They’re in the shallow end of the Jesus pool and they want company. Run from these people! They want to hold you back so they can feel comfortable.
Moses was surrounded by people who wanted to be comfortable and keep God at a distance. Not Moses. God talked to him as one talks to a friend – in person. Because of this, all through Moses’ life, God’s approval and favor showed up on his skin. That blows my mind!
Do you want to look like Jesus? Do you want His favor and blessing to shine like a beacon from your life? Those in darkness are attracted to the light. Don’t put it under a bag for anybody!

THAT “TA-DA” MOMENT
My Spirit is alive within you. I don’t sleep, get distracted or forget where I Am. I live in you and Am with you in all things. I Am your beloved and you are Mine.
THAT “TA-DA” MOMENT
Let me blow your mind a little this morning. While we don’t really know what Jesus looks like, we really do. The face of Jesus is revealed in the book of Revelation, not through a painting or a stone statue, but found through His heart.
Check this out: the four seraphim that fly around God’s throne – each with four different faces on its head – are a great illustration of this.
The first face is the face of a man. The second is the face of a lion. The third is the face of an ox, and the fourth is the face of an eagle. The seraphim each have six wings and eyes all over its body – front, both sides and behind. That’s some tripped out stuff! What is that all about?
This: when they worship God and raise their wings, they can see in front, beside and behind them all at the same time. As they circle the throne, they get a prophetic revelation of something amazing Jesus did in the past, is doing now, and is going to do in the future.
What they see is so cool and so mind-blowing, they constantly cry out, saying,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who was, Who is, and is yet to come.” – Revelation 4:8
It’s so life-giving to see how awesome Jesus is. And the most alive place in the universe is the throne room of the Lord Jesus Christ where these tripped out creatures circle the throne as Jesus goes, “Ta-daaaaa!” over and over again.
Although that happens eternally in heaven, it also should be happening in your life. How?
The throne of Jesus is also in your heart. The ongoing revelation of His goodness to you personally should be going on within you. It’s the whole motivation of why I preach. I pray all the time, “Lord, help me to show people how awesome You are.”
Do you see it? Today is a good day to let Jesus give you a Ta-da moment!
