WANT A NEW LIFE?
I know the beginning from the end, yet I choose to only see you in your present and future. My Son has brought revival into your life. You are a new creation and I see you not as the slave you once were, but as My child, freely loved. Embrace this truth!
WANT A NEW LIFE?The byproduct of intimacy is newness, new life. Every single time you and I either run to Jesus or yield to Him – every time we let Him into secret places we don’t allow anybody else into, it’s the beginning of newness.
Newness is always a chance for us to be set free from something. It’s a brand new opportunity for us to walk into upgrade of some sort.
The point of revival is newness. The point of revival is transformation – heaven invading earth. Through revival, hell is diminished and heaven shows up.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
You see the difference between things that are passing and things that are coming? That difference is redemption in your timeline. “What are you talking about Pastor Troy?”
I’m talking about a pretty simple principle. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 again and consider this: Where redemption is not in your timeline, everything is passing. Where redemption is in your timeline, everything is coming. In Christ you’re not losing anything but gaining everything.
Want to be a new creation? Invite Jesus into your timeline to redeem that place of hurt or defeat that is holding you hostage and keeping you from personal revival. Yield this up to Him and be set free from the guilt and shame of your past. Do you want a new life?

FAMILY TIES
When I say I will never leave you nor forsake you, I mean it. My Word is so powerful, I refuse to go back on it. I Am a keeper of covenant who delights in providing for you and watching you find your identity as part of My family.
FAMILY TIESI told you Christianity isn’t for wimps and it’s true. Mary and Joseph were no pansies. If you thought your family was whack, just know Joseph’s family took the prize for dysfunctional. That doesn’t mean he didn’t love them. He probably did, just like you and I love the knuckleheads in our family.
I can imagine Joseph talked about his family the whole way to Bethlehem – 70 miles across rocky terrain. I’m sure he was excited for Mary to meet them. They finally arrive and there are two things going on. First, the city is so packed they have to fight to get to the family.
Second, when the Bible says there was no room at the inn, that means there was no room with the family. The Hebrew word used for inn means “guest room.” Think about that. The family actually turns them out. They didn’t go to a wedding, so why is that woman pregnant? What’s that all about? Well, it’s a God thing! They probably thought Joseph had lost his mind. Talk about family ties that bind!
Abandoned by the ones who should have loved and protected them, Mary and Joseph found a place with the sheep. Mary gave birth by herself – without the guidance and wisdom of the women in her family – in a filthy place surrounded by animals and clueless husband.
She was such a good girl and she ended up shamed by Joseph’s family. I can’t imagine the pain Joseph endured over his beautiful young wife that he loved with all his heart being rejected. What does it mean to you if your family says, “No, we can’t take care of your pregnant wife. As a matter of fact, you guys belong with the animals.”
Have you been there? Shamed, rejected, even despised by the very people who should love and accept you? I have and I promise you, so has Jesus – from the very day He was born.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. – Isaiah 53:3
Know this: Jesus was born to take away your shame and restore you to His family. You are accepted, not rejected, by your heavenly Father and your awesome big brother. Are you part of the family?

The Assignment of Jesus
Why did Jesus become a man and come to earth? What statements or scriptures answer that Question?
WHAT’S THE POINT?
A search of scriptures reveals:
Jesus came to atone for our sins (1 John 2:2; 3:5).He came to take upon himself the punishment we deserved for our sin—our punishment in death. He then made it possible to receive what only He deserved—eternal life (Romans 5:6-11).He came to destroy and undo the works of the evil one (1 John 3:8).He came to make an open display of the foolishness of the devil and reveal the wisdom of the cross (Col. 2:15).He came that we might have an abundant life (John 10:10).He came to initiate a present-tense awareness of the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:10).He came to save men’s lives, not destroy them (Luke 9:56).Easy to miss the PRIMARY reason for His coming—HE CAME TO REVEAL THE FATHER.
The above points on this list are only sub-points to the MAIN POINT
Jesus’ Primary Assignment
He came to set our focus on the Father…REPRESENT AND CORRECT MIS-REPRESENTATION
Everything we love and admire about Jesus is an exact calculated manifestation of the Father.
Jesus came to a planet of orphans to reveal what we needed most—a Father.
Jesus came to put a face to the Name.
Jesus is having a moment with the disciples. He speaks of a destination of WHERE is about to go by way of death. He is going back to the place He came from—to Jesus, His destination is THE FATHER.
John 14:6-8 (TPT)
6 Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. 7 And from now on you will realize that you have seen him and experienced him.”
8 Philip spoke up, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be all that we need!”
To Jesus, eternal life is not a place to go to when you die. It is the Father.
John 14:9-10 (TPT)
9 Jesus replied, “Philip, I’ve been with you all this time and you still don’t know who I am? How could you ask me to show you the Father, for anyone who has looked at me has seen the Father. 10 Don’t you believe that the Father is living in me and that I am living in the Father? Even my words are not my own but come from my Father, for he lives in me and performs his miracles of power through me.
He only spoke what the Father spoke (John 12:49-50)
He only did what He saw the Father do (John 5:19)
John 17:4-6 (TPT)
4 I have glorified you on the earth
by faithfully doing everything you’ve told me to do.
5 So my Father, restore me back to the glory that we shared together when we were face-to-face before the universe was created.”
6 “Father, I have manifested who you really are and I have revealed you to the men and women that you gave to me. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have fastened your Word firmly to their hearts.
Jesus is the exact representation of the Father—His nature and His person.
Hebrews 1:1-3 (TPT)
Jesus, the Language of God
1 Throughout our history God has spoken to our ancestors by his prophets in many different ways. The revelation he gave them was only a fragment at a time, building one truth upon another. 2 But to us living in these last days, God now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through him God created the panorama of all things and all time.
3 The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One.
When you see Jesus you SEE the Father…with the disciples, the Roman, the leper, the adulterer, the blind, the enemy
Jesus promised to send “another” (exact image of His nature and His person)
John 14:16-18 (ESV)
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
CLOSE
Romans 8:14-17 (TPT)
14 The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” (spirit of adoption) enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”
17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.
Our Assignment: Put a face to the Name
2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (TPT)
14 God always makes his grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of his endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. 15 We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God —a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing. 16 The unbelievers smell a deadly stench that leads to death, but believers smell the life-giving aroma that leads to abundant life. And who of us can rise to this challenge?

THE DEVIL HATES THAT!
I love to open doors to you. I want to pour blessings from the windows of heaven. Do you believe it? Go after it. Speak to Me, child. Tell Me the desires of your heart and watch heaven move. I’m waiting.
THE DEVIL HATES THAT!Confession is so important, but I’m not talking about standing before a priest or even the Lord in shame and listing all your sins for the day, the week or the year. I’m talking about the kind of confession that God responds to.
The truth is, confession is when you verbalize how God cherishes you. It’s when you say, “Father, I know you love me. I know you made this sunrise just for me to see and enjoy. You’re calling me this morning.” That is confession and it opens a door to the heavenly realm.
Then there is proclamation. That’s when you verbalize what God is doing because you know God cherishes you and it’s all about trusting His nature. It’s saying, “I proclaim your goodness in my life because you making my relationships new right now. I see you softening hard hearts, including mine.” Proclamation sets up declaration.
Declaration is verbalizing what you know is going to happen. It’s where we speak into the heavenly realms to release angels to perform the word. It’s when we say stuff like, “I declare supernatural abundance on my family. I declare prosperity is mine because I trust you to give back what the enemy has stolen.”
Did you catch that? Confession is past, proclamation is present, and declaration is future. You trust in God and say, “You know what? Time isn’t going to beat me up because the Word says my words are game-changers.
“The power of life and death is within the tongue.” – Proverbs 18:21
Today, I want you to read this aloud unto the Lord and call down the heavens to move on your behalf:
I confess my love for you Jesus and your love for me in 2019.
I proclaim and I make known that this is my year – a new season of abundance.
It’s a brand new time where I am full of overcoming victory.
I declare the Lord will accomplish what concerns me.
I will go further, higher, better and get there faster than any year before.
I am Yours and You are mine in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
Do you know what, hell just trembled because those angels just went to work. You’re a bad motor scooter, so prove it every day by confessing, proclaiming, and declaring God’s identity, purpose and destiny over yourself. The devil hates that!

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?
I see you as perfect as I Am perfect. You are whole and complete in My eyes. Look at yourself through the lens of My love and see the great potential and promise I’ve given you. Go and make disciples.
DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?My worldview is this: I have rewards in heaven. God Almighty cares about people who nobody else in the world cares about. Jesus Christ is coming back and He is a rewarder. Everybody needs a shot at redemption.
Because this is my worldview, I care about people the rest of the world doesn’t and I don’t do it for the praise of men. I understand the time is short so I have an urgency to me – I want to see people saved and redeemed. I’m all about loving and serving people into God’s family.
I also have to know I’m Father God’s favorite. I am! And because I believe I’m His favorite, I have the faith and guts to get off the couch and help people. If I don’t think God loves and favors me, I’m liable to do nothing at all and lots of people will go to hell.
I have to make sure that I think things about me that God Almighty thinks about me, and so do you. God calls me His son, so I need to have confidence in that. He calls me a teacher, worshipper and overcomer so I need to line myself up under that. Again, this is all about conforming your life to the image of God’s plan.
Lining up with who God says you are will line you up with what you’re suppose to be doing. Identity defines assignment. Assignment is all about purpose and we’ve all heard people say they don’t know their purpose in this life. That’s because they don’t know who they are to God Almighty.
Do you know who you are? Do you know what God says about you? Look in scripture. Listen to the prophetic words spoken over you. God never speaks something evil, untrue of negative – that’s the enemy. Your Father God sees you as complete and whole through the love of His Son Jesus. He sees you as family. That’s a great start ing point.
He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will… – Ephesians 1:5

IT WASN’T ME
I gave you the gift of free will. Don’t blame me when you make a bad decision. Slow down. Be led by the Holy Spirit, not by the flesh. I will show you the way. Ask.
IT WASN’T MEJesus gets blamed for a lot of the bad that happens in life – even by the people who love Him. And He’s like, “I’ve died all I can die. I’ve resurrected all I can resurrect. I have promised all I can promise and I have empowered you and given you everything I have.”
My friend, you have the ability to see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. However, you would rather not take any responsibility for the hell you’ve brought on your own life.
“But Pastor Troy, the Bible say if it’s the will of God it’ll happen and if it’s not God’s will, it won’t.” While that line of thinking may work within certain circles within the Bible belt, it does not work in the kingdom at all.
This line of thinking leads people to blame God for their failures. I hear it all the time People go through a divorce and say, “Well, it was the will of God.” Or they say, “Well it wasn’t the will of God for us to get hooked up in the first place, so now He’s putting it right.” Too bad. You got hooked up. You need to lay down your life and make it work.
“But Pastor Troy, you don’t understand. I can’t make it work.” Now, we’re getting somewhere. If you can’t make it work, I’m not condemning you. I’m just saying don’t blame God for the failure of your marriage.
There’s a lot of warfare that goes on with all this and in the midst of the warfare there are battles won and lost. Jesus defined it this way,
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” – Matthew 11:12
The PTV, which is the Pastor Troy version of the verse, says, “everything changed at John the Baptist, and you don’t do warfare the way you did before John the Baptist.” How you advance the Kingdom now is you go after things. That’s what that verse is saying.
Kingdom advancement is not for cowards. It is not for wimps. And here’s the deal: you’re going to get your hat handed to you sometimes. You’re going to go after things and it’s not always going to work. You know what? God doesn’t hate you for that. He’s not mad at you for that any more than I’m mad at my grandchildren for falling down while learning how to walk.
Romans 8:1 states there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. But when the Holy Spirit convicts you, you best pay attention. Step out of the boat, my friend, but keep your eyes on Jesus as you do. You only sink when you look elsewhere for answers or blame the Lord for your failures by saying, ‘It wasn’t me.”

GET RESULTS
I have sent the Holy Spirit to intercede for you when you’re at a loss for words. Now, come to Me with shouts of praise, words of gratitude and your requests. I hear your whispers and your cries.
GET RESULTSThis man of God has a lot of tools in his prayer closet – different ways to approach God for different kinds of results. Just as quiet intimacy is important, crying out and bringing a shout before the Lord, both alone and corporately, is crucial to my walk.
Know this: praying, meditating and crying out are not the same and they do not bring about the same result. Check out this gold mine on prayer in Psalms 5.
“Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.” – Psalm 5:1-3
“Give ear to my words, O Lord…” That’s prayer.
“Consider my meditation…” That’s thinking God-thoughts.
“Give heed to the voice of my cry…” That’s a shout or crying out to God for immediate help.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you in wisdom and discernment to know what needs to be done and how best to approach the Father. Whether you’re crying out in tears, whispering in a quiet setting, shouting hallelujah, or simply listening, God loves to hear from you.
Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! – Psalm 116:2 (NLT)
That’s deep right there. I get this image of the Creator of the Universe bending down to hear what I have to say. You know what? He does. He listens and He responds based on how I approach Him. Need help now? Cry out. Need to feel His presence? Pray and meditate. Either way, you’ll get results.

WALKING IN AUTHORITY?
You are my child. Walk in the My authority. I have redeemed you to walk in My abundant life. Fear not. Keep your focus on My promises, not on your problems.
WALKING IN AUTHORITY?Jesus said He didn’t come to be served but to serve and to die as a ransom for many. Even the word “minister” means “servant.” Whether you’re a trash man, a radio personality, a momma or daddy – whatever you do, you are a minister. Your ministry is seen by who and how you serve.
Service is ministry. As ministers, we are called to operate in the same authority Jesus was given when He ministered on earth.
I want to just stop and say, everyone thinks the devil has supernatural authority – that he and Jesus are in some kind of head-to-head competition. The devil is not in competition with Jesus. The devil is a created being, a cosmic punk, and a knuckle-head who has no self-control whatsoever.
“But Pastor Troy, I’m scared the devil will kill me.” If the devil could kill you, he would have because he has no self-control. Self-control is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. So, don’t give him a place to kill you. Take up your authority in Christ.
We tend to make the devil so big and so powerful. Here’s what’s real is: you and I are the ones who are big and powerful but we turn our dominion over to the devil. Any power or authority the devil has he either stole from us or tricked us into giving to him. So quit making the devil all big and bad!
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”— Luke 10:19
Take back your power and authority. How? Learn to be a servant. Learn to be a leader. You need to focus and get into alignment for your assignment. Every one of us should be reading books, hooking up to mentors and be studying what the Word of God says about these things.
Be involved in holy things. Believe God’s promises. You’re a bad-motor-scooter, I promise you. You are an overcomer when you serve others.

THE ARRIVAL OF REVIVAL
I Am a God who sees the big picture. You may not know where you are called to be, but I do. Partner with the Holy Spirit and listen for My direction. I will align you for your assignment. Stop fighting me.
THE ARRIVAL OF REVIVALIn Isaiah 6, Isaiah had a vision where he realized he was unclean. He is a bit embarrassed and claims “woe is me.” Just a few lines later, God Almighty asks who will go to tell the world how awesome He is and Isaiah, despite being the only mess in heaven, grabs the opportunity.
“Here, I am, send me!” – Isaiah 6:8
He goes from “woe” to “go” – from “woe is me” to “send me.” What happened? Revival happened. Personal transformation. A personal revolution caused him to change everything.
People begin to live out assignment in revival. When you do not fight the battles you are assigned to fight, you end up fighting battles you have no grace for. When you refuse to be the person God has called you to be, when you refuse to stand in the place God has called you to, you end up in places where you get beat up.
So, part of assignment is alignment. When revival comes, alignment and assignment happen. You can be married and be out of alignment with your spouse. You can have kids and be out of alignment with them. Because you’re out of alignment, the power of God is not flowing through that.
Because you’re not in alignment with the right people, you are suddenly in alignment with the wrong people. Then, all kinds of problems happen. You and I have to guard our hearts and make sure we are in alignment for our assignment.
If you’re not sure where you are meant to be, ask God. He’ll be more than happy to guide you where He needs you.
Are you feeling a bit like the prodigal son these days? Get in alignment. Surrender to God Almighty and He will make your assignment clear. Trust His plan for you and revival will happen. He’s waiting with open arms.
