WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Taste and see how good I Am. Know that I am more than enough for all you will face this day.  Believe for nothing less than experiencing My presence and My power, as you enjoy My love for you.

WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY?

Your testimony is not what you did before you were saved. That’s your history. Your testimony is who the Lord Jesus is to you today. Amen. Your history is what you buried when you were baptized and left that trouble in the water.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” – Romans 6:4

Who Jesus is to me is not determined by my past, by who others say I am, or what I feel about myself. It is determined by who His word says I am. God didn’t give us the Bible to have head knowledge. He gave us the Bible so that we can personally know Jesus and know Him in power.

If all you have is a Bible verse that says Jesus heals, you now have permission to go after Jesus for healing until you encounter it. Once you encounter it, that’s something you can give away for the rest of your life. From that point on, you can say with certainty…

“And they overcame by the word of their testimony” – Revelation 12:11

Encountering Jesus means you encounter His life. His life in you allows you to build a testimony each day of who Jesus is to you. So, get up and take on hell with a water pistol.

AN OFFER YOU CAN’T REFUSE!

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am the Prince of Peace and My Kingdom is of peace. I desire to be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords over the territory of your heart. Lay it down. My ways and plans are always good.

AN OFFER YOU CAN’T REFUSE

Jesus is looking for real estate and you are the real estate He is after. He wants all of you – your heart, mind, body, and soul. But what about the real estate of this earth? He wants to rule that through you.

He’s saying, “If you will give Me your real estate, I will give you My real estate.”

What real estate does Jesus have? Everything. And if we will give Him our domain and turn our dominion over to Him, He will give us His domain.

That’s what the book of Revelation is all about. His dominion. It is when Jesus rides in on the clouds to take back this world from the enemy. Listen, the greatest moment of Jesus’ life is when He comes back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah – with a mighty roar, on a white horse – not on a donkey like the first time He came.

There’s a huge difference between riding in on a donkey in a time of peace and a white horse in a time of war. Jesus is coming as a mighty warrior and guess who’s with Him? Us. You and I.

Why is that? Because we turned our real estate – our very lives – over to Him. So, He’s in the process of turning over all His real estate to us. Isn’t that beautiful? Nobody else can make you that offer, and nobody else is offering it. So, if I were you, I’d take it. It’s an offer you’d be a fool to refuse.

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request.” – 1 Chronicles 4:10

PURSUE THE PROPHETIC

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Are you tuned in to My voice? I Am always speaking to you, singing over you, leading you through My journey for you. Talk to me, but also listen. I know the plans I have for you.

PURSUE THE PROPHETIC

Prophetic phrases are like anointed headlines or bullet points. The more you embrace the headline, the more you understand what the whole article is saying.

Prophetic phrases are important because they’re easy to carry around so, you can be dedicated to the contemplation of the subject. It’s not just a discipline you have, it’s a prophetic lifestyle you live.

Here’s what’s real: you’re either going to sit around talking about idle things or you’re going to sit around contemplating what it is God is speaking into your life.

If your passion is hearing God speak, and if you have a huge value for hearing His voice in a variety of ways and places, you will begin to go after this. You will hear Him in the storm that just passed, the headlines of your newspaper, the numbers on your dry cleaning receipt and the color of the sunset over your house. He’s always speaking, but we’re not always listening.

God’s voice thunders in wonderful ways, he does great things we cannot understand.” – Job 37:5

Every December, I fast, pray and go after hearing God speak prophetic phrases into my life. I want to know what His plan for me in the upcoming year is. I want to know what to go after, what to expect, and what to protect. You should too.

Remember how I always tell you God blesses pursuit? Well, in the Prophetic, pursuit is the only way to qualify for the gift. We have to go after it and once we get it, we must exercise it. This builds our prophetic muscle so that it becomes easier to hear God and easier to understand the message.

Are you giving your prophetic side a workout? It is a discipline, a lifestyle. If you want to hear God speak into your life, it takes action. Pursue the prophetic. It will put you in alignment for your assignment.

LEAVE THE WEEDS

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am the Lord of the Harvest. You are simply farmers. It is your responsibility to plant a crop that will produce fruit. My responsibility is to harvest it. Don’t ruin a good crop trying to pull up the weeds. I will deal with them in My timing and wisdom.

LEAVE THE WEEDS

Any time the Bible says, “the Kingdom of heaven is like,” it means, this is what it looks like when somebody is bringing the King’s dominion into their life. They’re going to begin to experience God right now. Just like the sower in this parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while his men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” – Matthew 13:24-30

The word ‘tares’ means weeds and stickers. The owner of the field is God Almighty, and we are the servants. Why is it when all hell breaks loose, we servants blame Him (vs. 27)? Admit it. When really bad stuff happens, don’t we look up in the sky and ask, “Why, God?” Know this: God did not bring the weeds and stickers into your life. The enemy did (vs. 28). That’s a great Word for the Body of Christ today.

Your job is to see to it that God gets a harvest from you. You are not a “Holy Ghost weed-puller.” Your job is not to look into people’s lives and say, “I’m here to pull out all your weeds, praise God!” It is the job of Jesus Christ to pull the weeds. And I want you to catch this, He doesn’t pull the weeds until you produce a harvest.

Many of us live our entire life with so many weeds. Since we won’t produce a harvest, the Lord never removes those things from us. Listen, we are not to be weed-pullers. We are to be fruit-bearers. The Church has got this all wrong. It’s like Christ is saying, “Don’t make it all about the weeds. Make it about the fruit. I’ll take care of the weeds.”

Jesus spoke in parables to those who might not otherwise understand, kinda like what I do. Would you get up here and do my job? I would not do yours. Let’s keep to our own jobs and leave the weeds to Him. We do not want to uproot the crop before the harvest.

WHO HAS DOMINION?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Are you tired? Worn down? Are you discouraged by the battles you face? Stop facing them alone! You were never meant to fight without Me, or without My power. Let Me be your God, not only in this battle, but in every one of them. Give Me dominion so I can make things right.

WHO HAS DOMINION?

You can’t bring the Kingdom of God into the dark places of your life if you’re not a subject of the Kingdom. If you are a subject of the Kingdom, that means you’re willing to do whatever the King tells you. You subject yourself to the King.

There needs to come a time in all of our lives when we understand that we are not God. This is a life-changing thing to recognize. Jesus Christ is God and we need to be subject to Him as King. Why? Because it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you His kingdom.

The kingdom is where the King has dominion. That’s where things are finally right. If you’ve got the kingdom in your marriage, in your finances, and in your relationship with your kids, Jesus rules and reigns there. And, things are wonderful.

So whenever we get the idea of the majestic side of God, we start coming into alignment. Alignment creates breakthrough. Alignment makes you an overcomer. Alignment brings you into abundance. Alignment is being subject to the Majesty of Christ. It’s the power of constant subjection to Christ.

I’m not an owner of anything. I’m a steward of everything. I know that I am going to have to give my entire life back to Him someday. He’s going to say, “Troy, how did you bring me into your marriage? What about your relationships? Your work? Your finances? How did you let Me have dominion over those things?”

When you begin to do that – give Jesus dominion over each part of your life – you begin to get into perfect alignment. Alignment for assignment. What is your assignment in this life? Pretty simple: it’s to bring Jesus into everything you do and every relationship you have, so He can rule and reign.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” – Matthew 13:44

WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

While I could solve all the problems of poverty, disease, and oppression by My own hand, I choose your hands to do My work. This is your purpose and your reason for being. You make Me so happy when you bring restoration and redemption to the lost in My mighty name.

WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?

You have permission granted to live an epic life in King Jesus. When we take His name and become “Christ-ians,” we have permission to tap into His greatness, His love, and His power.

One of the ways we tap into His power is by tapping into His heart. Ask yourself: What moves Him? What does He love? What does He hate?

Now, you’ve heard me say this time and time again, so you should know it, “The fear of the Lord is not to be afraid of Him, but to tap into His awesome heart. To love what He loves and hate what He hates.”

Jesus loves the widow, the orphan, the poor and the homeless. He hates bondage, injustice, and indifference – especially to the people I just mentioned. He wants us to love and care for those He loves.

My friend, we have to make a great big deal out of the right things and we have to be intentional about it. If we’re not going to be intentional about making a big deal out of the right things, we will make a big deal out of the wrong things. God help us if we do!

When we make a big deal out of the right things, when we love what God loves, we bring heaven to earth. That’s what we were made to do. That’s why the Holy Spirit now lives in us “Jesus people” – so God can personally serve, love, and deliver the lost through us.

Wanna know why you were born? What your purpose is? It is to love and serve others by demonstrating the Father. Period. End of story. So, let’s, you and I, make a big deal out of those the world forgets, and even despises. Let’s live an epic life of service.

“He helps orphans and widows, and he loves foreigners and gives them food and clothes.” – Deuteronomy 10:18

ARMOR UP, YOU BAD MOTOR SCOOTER

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I don’t see you as you see yourself. I see you as I created you to be. Listen to My voice only. I will tell you who you are – you are dangerous to the enemy. Don’t fear him. Fight him and step into your destiny as My child.

ARMOR UP, YOU BAD MOTOR SCOOTER

The Bible tells us that Goliath not only had six fingers, he was six cubits and a span tall, and had a spear that weighed six shekels. The infamous giant had six demonic pieces of armor. Six is, of course, God’s number for the flesh and that’s what giants represent – the flesh.

All this may be why Saul’s army cowered at the sight of Goliath every day. Not one man, King Saul included, dared to take him on. Fear was rampant in the camp. We’re a lot like Saul. Fear keeps us out of the battle.

I say all this to say that in Ephesians 6, God has an answer to how the flesh is armored up.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:11-12

How do we armor up according to the Spirit of God? He provides us the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the Gospel of peace, the sword of the Spirit, the belt of truth, and the shield of faith, to extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. Did you count them? I count six, but Scripture gives us an additional, overcoming weapon of warfare.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints…” – Ephesians 6:18

That’s the seventh piece. Goliath had six. But in the Spirit, you and I have seven. You can overcome anything with an army of one when the one is King Jesus. Amen. The Spirit of God always has one up on the flesh – the in-a-me and the enemy.

So, take on the giants in your life. Defeat the enemy with the Spirit of Truth. Let Him tell you who you are because you are a warrior, an overcomer, and a bad motor scooter. Goliath, take that!

THE LONG WAY HOME

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am a loving and powerful God. Yes, I could make this or that happen, but the truth is, I want your involvement. Partner with Me through the Holy Spirit. Take authority as My child to love the unlovable.

THE LONG WAY HOME

Both believers and non-believers say, “If it’s not of God, it won’t work. And if it is God, you can’t stop it.” While this is true, it’s also false and you need to know why.

Let’s be clear: there is the will of God that is fixed, permanent and is going to happen. A good example is Jesus is coming back. Nothing is going to stop Him. You can vote or not vote. You can believe or not, it doesn’t matter. Jesus is coming back.

Then there’s also the will of God that concerns His heart’s desire. That is the plan of God being carried out in our individual lives. The problem is that the “in-a-me” often gets in the way and we get in the way of God’s plan for our good.

I know for a fact that God wanted me to be a preacher who traveled all over the world helping people nobody else would help. Instead of partnering with Him as a kid or a teenager, I had my own dreams and planned a future as a musician.

Drugs, alcohol, broken relationships, anger issues, legal troubles – I brought all of these left turns into my life. I was actively derailing God’s heart, His will, for my life. I got in the way and so do you, my friend.

How many times have you launched into the next thing – the new job, relationship, financial scheme – only to leave the Lord out of that decision? Finding the will of God demands partnership. Want to find your destiny? Ask God for your identity. Then go after your purpose by asking the Father to reveal His heart for you to you.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7

That door is to His Heart. Don’t take the long way home. Partner with Him so His Kingdom can come and His amazing will be done on the earth of your life as He planned it in Heaven.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” – Ephesians 2:10
