A VIEW FROM ABOVE
I declare in Jesus’ name, God is giving me revelation knowledge. I will stand firm on the Rock and see things from His perspective.
A VIEW FROM ABOVEYou may be aware of the time Jesus asked His disciples what the word on the street was about Him. Read it very carefully and see if God can show you something new–something you may have overlooked or not understood until now.
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 16:13-19
Many people have falsely speculated that Jesus is saying Peter is the rock the church will be built upon. That is not the case. No, Peter had stepped on the rock the church would be built on. The rock Jesus is talking about is revelation knowledge.
Jesus is saying Peter’s ability to know something straight from the Father–to have a holy revelation–is the bedrock of the church. Jesus Christ is understood by revelation knowledge, and this spiritual download is essential to every human being who calls themselves a Christian.
Revelation knowledge is knowing or seeing something the way God knows or sees it. This is fundamental. It is the rock where the church starts or “the view from above.”
The next time your heart is overwhelmed and your mind is freaked out—the next time you are at the end of your rope—let God show you your situation the way He sees it. Say, “Lord, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.”
Submit your mind to the mind of Christ. When you get a real download of revelation knowledge, it is like climbing to a higher place where things come into focus. That’s a rock worth climbing!
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. TEFLON COATED
I declare in Jesus’ name that today is a new beginning for me. I am laying down my fear and picking up the promises of power, love and a sound mind. Jesus is my protector, my Rock and my Shield. In Him will I trust.
TEFLON COATEDYears ago, I was busy in ministry on the border. We gave away 6,000 pairs of shoes, then fed and loved on the poor and enslaved in the trash dumps of Matamoros.
Because I still had my band at the time, I had a gig in Dallas on Saturday night. Tired and crunched for time, I did what I had never done before. I took a plane home while the rest of the team drove. Yes, there is a story to tell.
During what was supposed to be a short layover in San Antonio, we were evacuated from our plane. Bomb sniffing dogs were released on all 100 passengers and FBI agents combed us, our belongings and the plane for an explosive.
The airport had received several calls about a bomb in the terminal and a Dallas-bound flight. They evacuated the plane, took it to a safe zone and found nothing. We were allowed back on two hours later.
The basics I just told you were on the evening news and in the next day’s newspaper. What was missing from the story is there were no reports of the person they arrested, even though I saw officials take them off the plane.
While the airline handled the situation well, I did not get fully reimbursed for my ruined underwear. I might be an awesome man of God, but I’m also a big fat chicken. God knows this about me. Because of this, I know one thing for certain: He is my protector. He’s yours too.
There is really no telling what all your Heavenly Father is protecting you from. Like the old Amy Grant song “Angels Watching Over Me” says, “A reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way.” Yes, there are “near misses all around us” and “accidents unknown” that your Abba handles before they get to you, His kiddo.
There is no doubt in my mind He’s eliminating threats the same way you pick up sharp objects to keep your little ones safe. You should be so thankful that He is your Father and a good one at that! Praise you Abba for being the Protector that you are!
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him will I trust.’” – Psalms 91:1-2
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY THANK YOUR ABBA FOR PROTECTING YOU. FROM WHAT? YOU’LL KNOW SOMEDAY. FOR NOW, PRAISE HIS NAME!

THERMOSTAT VS. THEMOMETER
I declare in Jesus’ name I am a thermostat, not a thermometer. I set the atmosphere with your praise and worship. I proclaim you, Lord God, will increase your goodness and mercy to the same measure that I pour it out on others.
THERMOSTAT VS. THERMOMETERI have noticed that goodness likes to show up in a mess. The deal is, once goodness is engaged in the chaos that is us, the mess is no longer the issue. That’s because goodness is like a thermostat. It can’t help but change the atmosphere.
You see, unlike a thermometer which only measures the temperature, God’s goodness is a thermostat. It not only measures the “temperature” of the atmosphere, it changes and resets the tone of a situation, and the tone of your life – permanently.
That’s why at the beginning of the creation story and at the end of every day, God said, “It is good.” Goodness is always the catalyst for transition. That’s were transformation begins – God’s goodness pouring out on you. It’s what sends you on your journey with Him.
Are you stuck in a rut along your path with Jesus? If it’s been a long time since you’ve seen transformation in your life, turn up the heat by pouring out the goodness of God onto others. The Lord will reset your thermostat to a new level of goodness in your life each time you turn up the amount of goodness you demonstrate.
Father God likes it when His kids are thermostats.
And you answered me and said, ‘The thing which you have told us to do is good.’ – Deuteronomy 1:14
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO TURN UP THE HEAT ON THE AMOUNT OF GOODNESS YOU SHOWER ON OTHERS. GOOD BRINGS TRANSFORMATION TO A SITUATION BECAUSE GOOD OVERCOMES EVIL!

1 SAMUEL 21 & 22 – David hid in the camp of the enemy when Saul and his murderous bunch were hunting him down. David had killed Goliath of Gath when he was a teenager, then as a grown man, he went to Achish, King of Gath, and hid there from Saul.
1 KINGS 17 & 18 – When Jezebel was trying to kill Elijah, God hid the prophet with a widow woman in the town of Zarephath. Zarephath is in Sidon. Jezebel’s father was the King of Sidon, and that city was her stomping ground! She had spies everywhere but Elijah went unnoticed for three and a half years. Reminds me of the scene in the Lord of the Rings where Sam and Frodo use the Elven cloaks given to them by Galadriel to hide from the army of Mordor at the black gate. WEDNESDAY WATCH: Netanyahu Prophecy Fulfilled? Israeli Army Invisible?
Netanyahu was set to leave the Prime Minister’s residence on July 10, 2021—one month after being ousted from office—marking the end of 12 years as Prime Minister. It was his second time in the office. He was also PM from 1996 to 1999.
Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has told a well known story about an African pastor living here in Texas named Robert Mawiri, who was sent to prophesy to Benjamin Netanyahu that The Lord would make him the Prime Minister. He would retain his office as long as he did not give up land.
While Bibi seemed to not believe the prophet, he did become Prime Minister. He remained in the office until Bill Clinton pressured him to give up land to the Palestinians in 1999 and Netanyahu was voted out.

MORMONS BELIEVE PSALMS 82 POINTS TO A COUNCIL OF GODS AND ELOHIM IS JUST ONE OF THESE GODS. NOT TRUE. IN THIS PSALM, “BIG ‘G’ GOD” IS TALKING TO THE “small ‘g’ gods”—the Watchers who were supposed to help guide the nations and humanity.
Psalms 82 (A Plea for Justice) – God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. 2 How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? Daniel 2:40-43 – And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men ; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.
Is Daniel talking about the demonic trying once again to mix with humans? Could he be talking about technology? We’ll talk more about that possibility next week.
HYBRIDIZATION OF THE HUMAN SPECIES IS NOT SCIENCE FICTION. IT IS HAPPENING ALL OVER THE WORLD, BUT MORE ON THAT IN FUTURE REVELATION REPORTS.

“GOD WANTS TOO MUCH OUT OF ME!”
I declare in Jesus’ name that I have given you my heart—my whole heart. I am a living sacrifice to you. You have given your all for me and I am grateful!
“GOD WANTS TOO MUCH OUT OF ME!”Ok, this is another lie that Satan likes to whisper in our ear so we won’t go after God’s best for us. He wants us out of the fight, off the mission field and influencing others to follow our sorry attitude.
“So, let me get this straight,” said the young man across my desk. “I quit smoking weed. I moved out of my girlfriend’s house. I don’t have any friends except here at church, and you’re telling me God wants more?”
“Yes.”
“How much more, Pastor Troy?”
“Everything. All of it. He’s after you, boy, and He’s not going to quit.”
Over the years, I have had this conversation with many people, including the good looking fat man in the mirror. We all have a selfish part that wants to tell God to “talk to the hand” when it comes to asking more out of our life. On this subject, we need a right mind.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service . – Romans 12:1
Gulp! What does it mean when it says to present your body as a living sacrifice? It means to lay it down and give it up. You may fear going to the trash dumps of Matamoros, Mexico, the OpenDoor Food Bank or the homeless outreach on Skid Row, but the Lord just told you to sacrifice your personal comfort and sometimes, safety, to go there to help the hurting.
It’s really not a big deal. As a matter of fact, it’s only your “reasonable service.” In other words, it’s the sensible, sufficient and inexpensive way to serve the Lord.
So how can God think it’s not a that big a deal to give your entire life to Him? Because He made it, He owns it! Give it back to Him freely and live an abundant life for others. That’s where you’ll find yourself.

GETTING OFF THE MAP
I declare in Jesus’ name that you are moving me into deeper places and out of my comfort zone. I am stepping off my map and know you will catch me because your plan is for my good. I will not fear the future!
GOING OFF THE MAPWe’ve talked about the fight for forward and the principle of momentum, now let’s move forward to the actual process of discovery. Yes, it’s a process!
There is a whole new paradigm we discover when we win the battle, move forward and actually stomp around in new and better places. However, there is an immediate problem with this new level. We are unfamiliar with it. I call those places “off the map.”
When Alexander the Great came to the Indian Ocean, he wept because as far as he knew, there was no more world to conquer. There was actually a lot more left to explore, but he was limited to a map.
That’s not you. You and I were called to be greater than Alexander ever could be, because we have no such limitations.
See, I am doing a new thing! How it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19
The wilderness is wild because it isn’t inhabited. It’s in uncharted places that He makes a way or a path of progression for each of us. Because of this, He will ask you to try new things without any explanation whatsoever. Off the map. This is God moving you forward.
He doesn’t care if you are a professional speaker when He calls you to speak to great people. Just ask Moses.
He doesn’t care if people like you when He calls you to have influence as a prophet. Just ask Jeremiah.
He doesn’t care that everybody thinks worship should be solemn and reverent when He calls you to let it all hang out for His heart. Just ask David.
He told Peter to eat unclean food although his Jewish culture said it was forbidden. Off the map. Just like the Holy of Holies or this place…
Neither shall they say, See here! or, See there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. – Luke 17:21
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO TAKE THE LORD UP ON HIS INVITATION TO GO OFF THE MAP. ASK HIM WHERE HE WANTS TO TAKE YOU AND KNOW HIS SPIRIT IS INSIDE YOU TO GUIDE YOU.

SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN
You have heard it said, “You only live once,” but believers are actually passing through to an eternal life. Isaiah 35:4 says to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with a vengeance; with divine retribution and He will come and save you.”
SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPENPerhaps the most potent and effective lie of Satan that we swallow whole is the overwhelming fear that “something bad is going to happen,” or “death is after me.”
Impending doomsday is a terrible feeling. I get it ever single time I step onto an airplane. I’m not going to lie to you, none of us gets out of this life alive.
Just as man is destined to die once and after that face judgment. – Hebrews 9:27
The Bible doesn’t shy away from death, but treats it as a matter of fact. In Ecclesiastes, it simply says there is a “time to be born and a time to die.” It’s just the way it is. We don’t have to like it and, if you want to live well, you won’t let the fear of it rule you.
So many people have been completely incapacitated by the fear of death. Many don’t know this but history’s most famous nurse, Florence Nightingale, was so traumatized by the suffering and death she encountered while taking care of the wounded in the Crimean War, she eventually fell slave to the fear of death. She said she knew it was stalking her.
Once bold and selfless, she laid down in her bed, turned her face to the wall and waited for death. A heroine in all the history books, her end came at age 90. She never left her bedroom.
Do not let the fear of death paralyze you! Florence Nightingale did and she wasted several decades of her life. Think of the impact her service could have made over 50 years!
While the Bible is the ultimate authority, I believe these men have some good advice on the subject.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO CONFRONT THE FEAR OF DEATH. DON’T GIVE IT POWER OVER YOUR LIFE. GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS!
