REVELATION REPORT: RAPTURE REVEALED! Jesus’ Hidden Promise in Jewish Wedding

THE BIBLE IS A LOVE STORY – we’re not headed for death. Headed for marriage!

Matthew 22:1-14 (The Parable of the Wedding Feast) – And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son…”

It all begins with bridegroom (cha-tan – the one who joins himself to you). Three of the Gospel writers recorded Jesus calling himself the Bridegroom because it was integral to who He is:

Matthew 9:15 – And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.”

We’re born to be the ka-la – the bride. Always longing, trying to marry ourselves to something (drugs, money, etc.) if we do not recognize our cha-tan.

Ephesians 5:25-27 – Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

THE PARABLE OF THE WISE AND FOOLISH VIRGINS IS THE KEY TO WHO WILL BE TAKEN TO THE WEDDING AND WHO WILL BE LEFT FOR THE WAR:

Matthew 25:1-13 – “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH IS THE PICTURE OF A 7-DAY JEWISH WEDDING FEAST 

Father chooses a bride (Hebrew word ka-la which means “to complete,” and “daughter in law”) for the Son. The son, them goes humbly to her hometown to meet with her and her parents at the city gate. In front of all onlookers, he offers her a marriage contract, or covenant, stating the price he will pay for her (EVERYTHING HE OWNS). 

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE THE PROPHETIC PICTURE OF THE JEWISH MARRIAGE CONTRACT: THEY ARE NOT LAW—THEY ARE LOVE!

First 4 are where God Almighty says, “I love you over all the other nations in the world. So please:

Command 1: Don’t have any other lovers, no statues, no pictures

Command 2: Don’t take my name in vain (our name). I’ve given you my name, so don’t bring shame to us and don’t misuse it.

Commands 3&4: Find time to love me and get to know me for who I really am.

The next 6 commands listed on the contract can be summed up like this: love our family so we can all get along and live together. 

The Ten Commandments were a wilderness wedding and if you look in Chapter 19 of Exodus, you’ll see where the entire nation said, “I DO” in one accord.

Just like that, the bride to be accepts the gift and agrees to the terms and conditions. To approve the marriage covenant, they have a glass of wine and are pronounced man & wife in front of all watching. (Jesus first miracle was to make wine at a wedding—a foreshadowing of His true purpose)

Matthew 26:27-29 – Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant , which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom .”

The groom immediately goes back to his father’s house to build a house onto his father’s for his bride.  

John 14:2 – …in my fathers house are many mansions…I go to prepare a place for you

Hebrews 3:3-4 (TPT) – But Jesus is worthy to receive a much greater glory than Moses, for the one who builds a house deserves to be honored more than the house he builds. Every house is built by someone, but God is the Designer and Builder of all things.

She does not know when he will be back. 

Revelation 3:3 – I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

The bridesmaids (virgins) get the bride and themselves ready for his return every day and remain in their wedding clothes through each night. They are always ready as they don’t know when he’ll come.

Revelation 16:15 – “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

A wedding feast was the biggest thing going in Jesus’ day. Everyone wanted to be there. The whole town knows a wedding is about to take place and if they want to be included, they have to be prepared.

Revelation 16:9 – Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’”

When the Groom finishes building the house, the Father inspects it. While the house may be perfect, the Father now has to prepare for the feast. Wine, food, musicians— everything must be put in place. Only the father know when these arrangements are finished and He tells His son “Now is the time. Go get your bride.”

Matthew 24:36 – “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”

The Bridegroom dresses as king with a crown. They journey at night in a torchlight procession to get his bride. He and his groomsmen usually go at night night to surprise the bride and “steal her away” from her parents. 

2 Peter 3:10 – But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, 

As they pass blowing trumpets, those in the village who are prepared join the wedding party. 

1 Corinthians 15:52 …in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

It is up to YOU to receive your invitation to the wedding feast:

Hebrews 3:1 (TPT) – And so, dear brothers and sisters, you are now made holy, and each of you is invited to the feast of your heavenly calling. So fasten your thoughts fully onto Jesus, whom we embrace as our Apostle and King-Priest.

When they arrive at the bride’s home, the groomsmen put the bride in a special chair that they carry on their shoulders. This is called “the Catching Away” as the “fly” her back to the groom’s home for the feast. 

1 Thessalonians 4:17 – Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

If you are not in the wedding party when they arrive at the father’s house, the door is closed an nobody gets in for 7 days 

Matthew 7:21-23 – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

The Bride and the Groom drink a cup of wine—their second cup as the first was at their first meeting (the proposal and initial marriage contract). This is their seal of agreement to be one forever, united in every way. 

The two cups: 

The first cup is the cup of sanctification which Jesus gave His disciples at the Last Supper (on Passover).The second cup is the cup of Judgment – this is the cup Jesus asked the Father to take away in the Garden of Gethsemane. He drank it for us so that when we drink that cup in heaven, our very presence there is the fulfillment of His “tasting death” for us!!

The choice to be the Bride of Christ is yours!

In the ancient Galilean wedding tradition, if the girl said no to the boy who was asking for her hand in marriage, she had the right and the option to keep all that he offered. The Bridegroom runs the risk of going away empty-handed. Again, this is a picture of Jesus giving His life for those who refuse to accept His love and all that he offers. Matthew 22 talks of this: 

Matthew 22:1-14 (The Parable of the Wedding Feast) – And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

SEVEN DAYS – SEVEN YEARS – THE WEDDING SUPPER OF THE LAMB

FLIGHT 191

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus name God’s plan is good and His timing is perfect. He is in control despite the chaos of this day. He works all for my good. I trust in Him. 

Flight 191

It was a family’s darkest nightmare. On the television screen was a smoking ruins of a plane on the runway at DFW Airport. Delta Flight 191. We had waiting all day for my little sister, Missy’s plane to bring her home. 

Now, I was 18 years old and bulletproof, so it hadn’t struck me that anything bad would happen to me or my family. But the video on the news was real. The debris and burned bodies here scattered and thrown.

Though the pilot was one of the best and most capable and the plane was in good working order, a chance meeting with a Texas microburst, a weather event so unpredictable and extreme, shattered the lives of 136 of the 167 passengers that day. Their plane was literally driven into the ground by an invisible force some would call an “act of God.” 

Let’s get this straight – God doesn’t do that kind of thing. Those winds were part of a diabolical series of events driven by the devil and cloaked in natural phenomenon.

While a cousin who worked at the airport rushed out into the flaming heap to look for my sister, we at home worried and prayed. The Lord was way ahead of us.

Missy was about to turn 14 when she was invited to go to Bermuda on vacation with a girl from school. It was obvious that mom and dad didn’t want to bother with the inconvenience of being a parent, so Missy was brought along to entertain their daughter. These people didn’t know it at the time, and likely still don’t today, but their lives – maybe even eternity – depended on my sister being with them on the trip.

The mom had a problem with anger and alcohol. The night before they were to catch their plane, she made Missy the target of her miserable life. She called my sister horrible names and belittled her, making her pack her bag to have it ready. The mom made sure Missy’s birth certificate was right on top so she didn’t have to dig for it in the morning.

Letting Missy fend for herself through customs, Missy opened the suitcase to get the birth certificate and, to her complete horror, it wasn’t there. How could that be? She’d double checked it in Bermuda. Frantically, she tore through her clothes looking for the piece of paper. 

Several people when through that suitcase looking for the birth certificate. It was not there. The crazed mom screamed, yelled and threatened my sister. Missy said it was terrible. She decided to look one last time. 

When she turned to her suitcase, which had been laying open on a customer table, she could see the piece of paper sitting right on top where it was in the first place – in plain view but miraculously unseen by all until this moment.

They all rushed to the gate where flight 191 was sitting. It had finished boarding. The woman ranted and raved at an airline employee who refused to let them on. The doomed flight left without them. They caught another flight, one that would get them home safely and not send that woman and her hen-pecked husband to hell that day.

It was a miracle they were not on that plane. Missy would grow up, get saved and for several years, work with her husband as a children’s pastor before becoming a nurse. Literally, thousands of lives have been touched by her service and ministry because Jesus blinded the eyes of everyone in customs to that piece of paper.

So what happened to that bully of a woman? I bet you think she saw the light when she saw the flames and apologized. Well, she didn’t. She continued her tirade all the way to my mom’s front door where she was promptly handed her hat and sent off in angry, self-serving disgrace. Yep, my mom threw her clean off the property!

So what is the message in the miracle? Just because God does a miracle for you, doesn’t mean you are smart enough to recognize it. That woman wasn’t.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO THANK GOD FOR THE MIRACLES YOU’VE WITNESSED. DON’T KNOW OF ANY? ASK GOD TO REVEAL ONE TO YOU. CHANCES ARE, YOU MISSED IT!

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name, I am in the battle for lost souls. I renounce my comfort zone and complacency. You have prepared hearts for me to win, King Jesus. You ready the soil and I will plant and water the seeds. The harvest is Yours. 

THE CHANGE OF LIFE

Face it, we are a mess. Yes, you and I are major malfunctions and we will be until we get home to glory. 

As messed up as we are, God calls us His people and sends us into the darkest places of this crazy world with a mandate and a mission to surround evil and change things for good. We are to save people from an eternity in hell. First, He surrounds us with goodness to lead us.

Teach me to do your will; for you are my God; your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. – Psalms 143:10

After He leads us by His goodness, we are followed by His goodness.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. – Psalms 23:6

Not only is He in the midst of us with His goodness, He is before us and behind us as well! 

Then your light will break forth like dawn and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. – Isaiah 58:8

The battle is for the eternal souls of men and women. The risks and the rewards are worth it. So step out in faith to battle for goodness in evil places. Know that God is paving the way. He will sustain your efforts even after you have finished your fight.

A REAL EYE OPENER

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name You are Spirit and Truth and I worship you in spirit and truth. No walls can hold in my love for You, Jesus. Holy Spirit have Your way in me today—in my body, soul and spirit! 

A REAL EYE-OPENER

Let me tell you about the most incredible healing miracle I have ever personally witnessed. One of the greatest doors God has opened for me is the ability to serve in the south Texas town of Brownsville. It’s as far south as you can get while still being in the United States.

Brownsville is an extreme place like most border towns. I love places like this because that’s where God can do radical things. This night, He took us across the border to the city of Matamoros and into a tiny church. The people seemed to be sizing us gringos up. They looked suspicious until the Holy Spirit began to move though the praise music we were playing.

During the second song, people started to stand up and praise in Spanish. People were crying, shaking and lifting their hands to God in surrender. The sermon went out the window and it was just a radical time of praise and brokenness before the Lord. Many were shouting at the top of their lungs and God began to do His thing. 

I had never been to church like this before. I couldn’t understand what they were saying to the pastor as he moved the room. Finally, he took the microphone and began to tell of people who had been cured of sickness and disease as they praised. The room was going nuts. Then, as an old woman walked up to the microphone, the crowd became suddenly quiet.

She had gone to this church since she was a child. She lost her eyesight at a teenager due to undiagnosed diabetes. She had been blind for several decades. Then, as the second song played, she said the Holy Spirit came upon her in an unusual way. She began to see a vision, then realized it wasn’t a vision at all. She could see!

“Now, you know me and you know that I am blind,” she said. Then, with God as my witness, she began pointing to people in the crowd. “If I am blind, how can I see you? And you. And you…”

We literally saw blind eyes opened through praise and worship! None of us preached, called down healing or laid a hand on her. No man can take credit for what God had done. Sometimes a special move of God isn’t taught, it’s caught!

Since then, there have been dark times in my walk where I’ve been tempted to doubt God’s healing power. Every time I do, I think back to that night in Matamoros when a woman was healed of blindness by God Himself. 

I wonder how many times the devil tried to stop her from going to the church that night. How many times did he tempt her to stay home or leave after finding out a gringo was preaching? If she had played any one of those cards, she would still be blind today. Instead, she was in the house of God and expectant that something was going to happen. That day, it did. It can for you too!

AN ACQUIRED TASTE

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus name I am a gifted learner in the Spirit. You, Lord, have given me a taste for Kingdom. Today I will search out your heart because I am your beloved and you are mine!

AN ACQUIRED TASTE

Scripture doesn’t say, “Oh, smell and see that the Lord is good.” The aroma of something is supposed to be a mouthwatering invitation to take a big bite. Just like that, the prophetic is a green light to experience God in the way He is being revealed to you. You have to be willing to go forward into experience and that requires trust.

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in him! – Psalms 34:8

Tasting is all about personal experience and trusting is all about believing you will not get into trouble for biting in. We must be willing to smell the savor of things not yet experienced in Christ, then fight for it!

When we forget we are supposed to look forward, we settle for what others have experienced, trusting their tastebuds instead of the Lord Himself. When we are not savoring what can be, we settle for the documented palate of the past.

Take the woman who crawled on her knees to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment hoping for healing. There was no historical reference for her to follow or go by. That is courage! It is also desperation and because she risked it all hoping for an upgrade, she experienced God in a way nobody else had. He even called her “daughter” – the only person recorded in the Bible to hear those words.

This was a woman of faith. Real faith. When we don’t find Jesus in new ways, we settle for what is written about Him. Our faith becomes really safe and not authentic — pseudo faith that requires little to no personal experience or encounter. 

We become Bible thumpers instead of heart listeners. We learn the culture of our denomination instead of the ways of God. We make the mistake of having a relationship with church, rather than a relationship with Jesus. THAT’S NOT YOU!

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO FIGHT THROUGH THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. FIGHT FOR THE HEART OF THE KING AND THE NEXT LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING AND RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.

WOWS AND WONDERS

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus name that I am a walking testimony of God’s goodness. I will praise him with my words today and be a light in the darkness for the lost and hurting. 

WOWS AND WONDERS

In nearly 30 years of consistently bringing God’s goodness to the poor and afflicted, Leanna and I have seen signs, miracles and wonders beyond definition. Some of the greatest miracles I have experienced just naturally happened while were were helping in very practical ways.

Heaven invades earth and God’s will is done through these works of the Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, all three works of the Holy Spirit, signs, miracles and wonders are mentioned together in only one verse in the Bible.

“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” – Acts 2:22

There is a big difference between these three manifestations of the Spirit, so hold on tight as I give you Troy’s Cliff Notes primer on signs, miracles and wonders.

SIGNS: A natural event that proclaims a message of something unseen. It’s when God uses the natural to point to the supernatural. A good example is when a microburst snapped the power pole, blew up the transformer and cut the power to a friend’s house. Of course, the electric company put up a new pole and transformer, but there was a message in that wind. God used the natural to cut off an old power source–a negative way of thinking–to her household. It was replaced by a new power source–a Godly way of thinking. My friend admitted that she had just repented of talking to “snakes” and had no idea there was a message in the microburst because when it comes to signs, only those looking for them can see them. I’m looking!

MIRACLES: When God changes, or even exchanges, the natural with the supernatural. It’s when God intervenes in extreme circumstances and rescues us from negative outcomes, danger or a major malfunction. Sickness is healed, a car is miraculously moved out of the way of a speeding truck, or an unexpected check shows up in the mail in just the amount you prayed for. 

WONDERS: Things God does just because He can with a very personal message in them. Wonders in my life include being given a million-dollar church campus by a near stranger before I even knew I needed one, and praying with a prison inmate desperate to get a message to his long lost family, then the next day, sitting beside his brother in a 60,000-seat stadium and getting to relay the Good News that little brother had gotten himself saved. It’s God taking you to the next level of His goodness.

Yes, all three are manifestations of the Father’s ultimate goodness. If you haven’t had a mind-blowing, game-changing sign, miracle or wonder from the Lord Jesus Christ, you need an injection of goodness into your life. Believe in His goodness and go after the supernatural side of God!

The number thirty-four in Hebrew was written with the letters lamed (authority) and daleth (a door). It has to do with the authority to walk through the door or to enter a house. One may lawfully enter after one has identified himself. And so thirty-four is the number of identification and many scriptures back that up.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name I am not ashamed of the Gospel. It is the power of God for those who believe. I will not be afraid to take his word to the lost, hurting and rebellious. They are POWs—prisoners of war—and I was born to lead them to freedom. 

GOOD HELPS THE HURTING

At 36,000 feet on a very long flight to Africa, I was trying to keep my mind occupied when the Lord stepped in and gave me three God-thoughts, or Holy Ghost flashcards if you will. They went like this:

Boom! Little boy, orphaned, unloved, dejected.

Boom! Under a tree, crying, sad, helpless.

Boom! Broken arm, pain, ongoing anxiety.

I knew God had spoken to me, so I told Leanna we were going to be on the lookout for an orphan boy under a tree with a broken arm. “We are going to help him,” I told her.

Now, words cannot describe the welcome we get when we arrive at one of our orphanages. It’s a celebration that I imagine is something like your first day in Heaven. You walk through a tunnel of people all smiling and wanting to shake your hand. The music is blaring, there are people dancing and celebrating. I never get tired of it.

On this trip, we were engulfed in the celebration when I looked over the heads of my beloved Ugandan munchkins and there he was! The boy God had told me about. He was standing naked under a tree, crying and holding his arm.

“There he is,” I shouted at Leanna. Now my wife has an incredible heart for children. The minute she saw him, she abandoned the celebration and was holding him in her arms. He was terrified because she was the first white person he’d ever seen, but that didn’t last long as her words and gestures soothed him.

It was just like God had said. I knew we had been sent there just for him because God sees the evil done to the orphaned. You and I were once orphaned, stumbling around in pain, unloved and lonely. Then Father God sent Jesus to round us up and make us part of the family. 

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BRING ONE OF THIS WORLD’S ORPHANS INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD! BROTHER JESUS PAID THE PRICE, SO GRAB SOMEONE’S HAND AND TELL THEM ABOUT THE LOVE OF THE FATHER!

PROVING THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE

GOD DOESN’T WARN US TO SCARE US BUT TO PREPARE US. 

God has never left mankind without a warning. That’s what the prophets and prophecy were for!

Noah’s Ark and Sodom and Gomorrah are prophetic pictures of the Rapture of the Church BEFORE WRATH OR JUDGMENT ARE POURED OUT. 

Noah prophesied and begged the people for 120 years to repent. He built a boat despite never seeing a drop of rain because God had warned him of judgment to come. ALL WENT THROUGH THE DOOR, THEN THE LORD HIMSELF SHUT THE DOOR.

Genesis 7:16 – So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

God removed the righteous before the flood of Noah so they would not experience his judgment:

Jasher 5:5-6 – And all who followed the Lord died in those days, before they saw the evil which God declared to do upon the earth.

Sodom and Gomorrah

When the Lord could only find Lot among the righteous of Sodom, he didn’t destroy Lot. He sent angels to warn him and remove him (and his daughters) from the judgment to come. 

Genesis 19:13-21 – And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. 22 Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there .” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. 23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. 24 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. 

Jericho & Rahab – Rahab and her family were rewarded for HER faith by escaping the wrath to come.

Joshua 6:23 – And the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. So they brought out all her relatives and left them outside the camp of Israel.

GOD WANTS NONE TO PERISH. HE GAVE JERICHO A 7 DAY WINDOW TO REPENT!

Joshua 5:13-14 (The Commander of the Army of the Lord) – And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?” 14 So He said, “ Neither, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” 15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

7 year window of repentance for those left behind before Tribulation or maybe during?

Elijah

THE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS KNEW ELIJAH WAS BEING RAPTURED. THEY EVEN TAUNTED ELISHA ABOUT IT. 

Elijah Ascends to Heaven

2 Kings 2:2-3 – And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. 3 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

2 Peter 3:3-4 – knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

WARNING TO THE END TIME GENERATION

Luke 21:28  – “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

BEING TOLD TO LOOK UP HINTS AT A RAPTURE OR CATCHING AWAY.

PROOF OF A RAPTURE

Daniel 12:1-3 –  “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting” 

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 – Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” (Those raptured do not die?)

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 – For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air . And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Luke 17:34-37 –  I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” 37 And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

EAGLES ARE THE HIGHEST FLYING BIRDS! HIGHEST ALTITUDES!

Luke 21:34-36 – But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life—and that day will spring upon you suddenly like a snare. 35 For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of all the earth. 36 So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.”

WE ARE NOT MEANT FOR WRATH OR JUDGMENT 

1 Thessalonians 5:8-10 – But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9  For God did not appoint us to wrath , but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Revelation 3:10 – Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world , to test those who dwell on the earth.

Revelation 4:1-6 –Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.” 2 And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it. 3 The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones—like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow. 4 Twenty-four thrones surrounded him, and twenty-four elders sat on them. They were all clothed in white and had gold crowns on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne were seven torches with burning flames. This is the sevenfold Spirit of God. 6 In front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal.

WHAT IS THIS A PICTURE OF? A KINGS CHAMBERS. HEAVEN GETTING READY FOR A WEDDING FEAST!

JESUS: “I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU…”
