PARKED IN THE RIGHT SPOT

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ mighty name, I am aligned to the assignment God has called me to, I step into the process that will move my destiny. I accept who God has made me to be, and positive outcomes will accelerate in my life and ministry.

PARKED IN THE RIGHT SPOT

Dec. 1, 1955 could have been a typical day, but because the right person with the right character was in the right place at the right time, it was a day that changed the nation.

When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man who demanded it, she was physically tired from a long day at work. She was also spiritually and emotionally full of enough strength to push America out of the stone age of racism.

The rest of Rosa’s story is history – her arrest and trial, the 381-day Montgomery bus boycott and the Supreme Court ruling in November of 1956 that segregation on transportation is unconstitutional. 

Sometimes heroes come in small packages. Her fight was not just for her race, but also for everyone who is in love with what is right and hates what’s wrong. I thank God that Rosa didn’t miss that bus!

Tiny Rosa Parks was able to do what God had destined her to do because she was willing to be who God called her to be. Her character and strength put her into that world changing bus seat. Her belief in God was at the core of everything she did. Because it was, He could use her.

What about you? Are you of the right character? If you’re not, being at the right place at the right time is not enough. 

If you want the front of the bus, the middle of the road or the back of the church – if you want to push others out of the way jockeying for a position of greatness – you have a long way to go. Only obedience to God can put you in the amazing places and situations where you can change the world.

Go after obedience! Work for Godly character and let Jesus set you up to make a difference by putting you in the right place in the right time.

Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:14

       Becoming a resource for homeschooling families, we are starting our own school this fall. It is a university model, two days a week with a chapel, real teachers, tutors and a language arts program.

We want to build ministries that support those who are already bringing the kingdom into the school systems. We want to help  adopted kids and those taking care of young men an women coming out of the foster care system.

WE WANT TO BUILD MINISTRIES THAT ARE RESCUING THE RESCUERS AROUND US

Because the world is after our kids and we know it.

Don’t believe what you see

The sexualization of our kids and how the globalists of the world are blatantly coming after our kids while saying they are not is part of the ramp-up to Revelation. What the Bible describes is a global one-world world government where everyone is enslaved to the Antichrist and the only way you can survive is to be the enemy of God Himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be deceived: “ Bad company corrupts good morals.”

From a new sexual standard for norm to where they think they can handle or be in certain environments

Then they are victimized in those places.

They are accused–blamed for being willing participants in the victimization itself.

You asked for it because you drank at the party.

That’s called Victim Blame.

The second thing they do is say there is no crime at all.

We have to live with a situational awareness and an emotional intelligence that is spirit-filled, word-of-God based, and is Kingdom-driven because Jesus is involved in all of it.

The spirit of accusation has manifold objectives. It’s first aim is to destroy you.

The devil is not only a liar who seeks to deceive us, a tempter who seeks to ensnare us, and a murderer who seeks to kill us. He is an accuser who seeks to condemn us.

The very name Satan means “accuser.”

Hence we read in Revelation of

Revelation 12:10

“ the accuser of our brothers . . . who accuses them day and night before our God.”

Romans 8:33-34

Who shall bring any charge against God ’ s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died — more than that, who was raised — who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

What they offered and promised

CONSEQUENCE-FREE INDULGENCE

Americas favorite pastime is now pornography.

The year was 1953, and Hugh Hefner had just published the first copy of Playboy.

Although the magazine only offered still images, the growing popularity of Playboy meant that pornographic imagery was becoming increasingly available to the public.

Flash forward to the 1980s, and VCRs suddenly made it possible for people to watch movies at home. Instead of having to go to sketchy movie theaters, consumers just went to the back room at their local movie rental place. Sure, they still had to go out to find it and get their IDs checked, but porn was even more accessible than it ever had been.

And then the internet happened.

Once porn hit the web in the 1990s, nothing but a few clicks stood between anyone with an internet connection and the most graphic material available.

For the first time in history, people could watch anything they wanted, whenever they wanted, from the comfort of their own home. Add to that the dawn of the smartphone a decade later, and boom—porn was more available, accessible, affordable, and anonymous than ever.

Online porn was “big business” in a way the world had never seen.

Pornhub, one of the leading porn sites in the world, claimed that in 2019 it had 42 billion visitors with 39 billion searches performed. That ’ s 115 million a day—almost 5 million an hour, and almost 80,000 a minute—and that ’ s just one site.

To put that in perspective, in the time it takes you to read this article, that one porn site will have recorded more than 200,000 visits, according to their own estimates.

As for 2019 uploads to the site, PornHub estimates 12,500 gigabytes per minute—enough to fill the memories of every smart phone in the world.

88 percent of all pornography includes some form of terrible violence.

As few as 1 in 3–and as many as 9 in 10–porn videos depict sexual violence or aggression.

It’s on our government

It’s in our schools

It’s in our streets

It’s even in our churches. They are having drag queen shows and exposing that to their kids.

What is this? How do we answer it. What do we do? Where can we have hope?

I’m going to help you with this today.

     DEEP RELIANCE IN GOD

2 Corinthians 1:8-10

“ We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die.

But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.”

The first real sexual revolution was the word of God going the Roman culture.

Rome in the fourth century had no fewer than 45 public brothels.

* Roman sexuality was about violent male dominance

* Roman sexuality accepted pedophilia

What happened when the church finally prevailed?

They constrained predator men

Liberated women

Protected children

We’re here today as Christians as living proof that those brave people outlived and outlasted the sexual culture of the day they lived in.

1 Corinthians 5:6

Paul connects sex to our doctrine of the Church: ‘ A little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough. ’

1 Corinthians 6:11

He connects it to our understanding of salvation: ‘ You were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified. ’

1 Corinthians 6:15

 He links it to our humanity and how we live together (anthropology): ‘ Your bodies are members of Christ ’

and then a few verses later,

1 Corinthians 6:19

‘ your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit ’

He connects it to eschatology AND LOOKING FOR THE RETURN OF KING JESUS

 1 Corinthians 6:19

 ‘ The time is short ’

Paul is continually drawing us back to the theological reasons for Christian sexual ethics, rather than simply giving the Corinthians a list of ‘dos and ‘don’ts.’

A BIBLICAL UNDERSTANDING OF OUR SEXUALITY IS A KINGDOM ISSUE

The biblical story of  Numbers 25.

This sexual revolution is taking place and there is no way to jump into bed with these girls without worshipping their God’s

Numbers 25:1-1

“..and the people began to stray after Moabite women. And they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods; and the people ate, and they prostrated themselves before their gods.”

The march forward into the Promised Land is stopped. Everything is derailed. People don’t know what to say or how to answer this thing. It’s the new norm. Marriages are breaking. Faith flies out the bedroom window and a plague breaks out in the camp that kills 24,000 people.

And into this scene steps the leader of the tribe of Simeon with a woman who is the daughter of the tribal leader of the Moabites. He takes her into a tent, presumably to consummate the relationship. Phinehas, the grandson of Aaron, steps forward with a spear and impales them both to ground  in an act of unbridled zealotry.

He tears down the tent shows it to everybody.

IT IS UNCOVERED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT AND THE PLAGUE STOPS

In times like this, you do not yield to the political leaders. You step into priesthood!

Priesthood will impale it to the floor and say, “This plague must stop!”

 SANCTIFICATION IS THE ROAD TO HOLINESS

The action or process of being freed from sin or purified.

“ The process of sanctification takes deliberate action on our part. “

Holiness is when God is in something

Hebrews 13:4 AMP

Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. And thus let the marriage bed be undefiled (kept undishonored)…

God can only sanctify and make holy what we offer to him.

Ashamed of past mistakes or actually held captive by past abuses?

Go into the tent and impale that thing into the ground so that the plague will stop.

Married sex should not be an oxymoron.

MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in the name of Jesus I am diligently pursuing Him. Obstacles are being removed. Every mountain is being laid low and every valley is being brought up. Jesus is making streams in the desert and highways in the wilderness for me as I seek Him with my whole heart. 

MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY

Some years ago, a friend of mine organized a big pastor’s conference in Costa Rica. Just a few feet south of Nicaragua, it was an excellent place for pastors to gather.

Usually, when this friend puts together a crusade or conference, thousands of people come, but not this time. Only 30 or so people showed up. I could tell he was very disappointed when the people he worked with did not do what they said they would in getting the word out.

Before we went in to bless the socks off of the small crowd, he said something that changed my life. “Blessed are the flexible.”

We preached for two days like there were 1,000 pastors present, and as the Holy Spirit would have it, that conference was a game changer for some of those pastors. It was for me as well because those four words kept echoing in my mind.

Was I a flexible person? Would I have handled that situation differently? Gulp! I was a “my way or the highway” type of guy. In how many situations was I not a blessing or had missed my own blessing because of my infamous inflexibility? 

I needed a serious soul invasion. What about you? Is your rigidity with your family, job or belief system so ingrained that you’re missing blessings and maybe even throwing curses at others? You don’t have to think hard about that – just look back to the last few Sundays.

What kind of hell broke loose on Saturday night or Sunday morning to keep you from praising God with your tribe at church? At my house, cars don’t start, kids bicker and fight, important items are lost, and all manner of chaos and miscommunication goes down right as we’re trying to hit the road. 

Now, that’s just a small example. Here’s a bigger one. 

I once saw a woman healed of blindness at a conference. She had prayed for healing at hundreds of times. Can you imagine what the devil must have thrown her way to keep her from going to church that night? My hunch is, she was flexible. Whatever problems arose, she let them fall away and went into the Lord’s presence. Because of it, she was forever changed.

You see, God is looking for people who can truly roll with the punches, because life throws a lot of them, especially when you’re trying to do His will. The devil is looking for an opportunity to sucker punch you away from bringing heaven to earth, so he messes with your plans.

Don’t let him! Learn to be flexible and keep your eyes on Jesus Christ. He will make sure the blessings flow.

MENTAL TURF WARS

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in the name of Jesus I have the helmet of salvation. My mind and thoughts belong to Jesus. I take every thought captive and cast down every evil imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God!

MENTAL TURF WARS

There is a glass case at Ft. Stewart where artifacts from Desert Storm are on display. One of the most interesting is a Kevlar helmet.

This U.S. Army issued helmet weighs only three pounds and cost around $90, but it bears the scars of a 7.62 AK-47 bullet. It took a direct hit and the young man wearing it survived the attack. Had he not been property dressed for battle at that exact moment, he would have been a casualty of war.

It’s the same way with you and me. 

Why do you need to have a tough spiritual helmet? Because a blow to the head disorients you. It causes you to be confused.

That’s why you need the “Helmet of Salvation” issued to you by the Lord.

Every battle you fight should be with a perspective of who you are in Christ and who Jesus has called you to be. The devil will try to disorient you by telling you that you are who people have always said you are. He will shame you into thinking you are impotent. That’s called a head blow.

The devil will also try to confuse you with the recollection of past failures and bad choices – another head blow.

The devil will try to overwhelm you with the memory of terrible things that have happened to you, and will tell you that God will not help you. Head blow!

If you fight the devil on any of those three turfs, you will lose every single time. So how does the Helmet of Salvation work? It gives you the perspective of salvation. 

When the devil says, “I know who you really are, loser,” you can say, “I am saved. That makes me the righteousness of God through Christ.” When the devil says, “I know what you’ve done,” you can deflect the attack by saying, “I am a new creature in Christ.”

When the devil reminds you of past pains, hurts and abuse, you can put on your helmet and say, “Devil, what you meant for evil, God has turned to good. I’m saved and my life is getting better and better.”

Fight your battles on the turf of the truth from the perspective of salvation. The devil can only have your mind if you let him. You will not be a casualty of war!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints… – Ephesians 6:17-18

MAP OUT THE MOMENTUM

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name I follow Him with all my heart, mind and soul. He who is faithful will accomplish His Word and promises to you, Lord. You call me faithful so I am faithful. I dare to see and hear your instruction. I will not be disappointed!

MAP OUT THE MOMENTUM

Remember that when you are pursuing God and His divine purpose for your life, the law of momentum applies.

This Kingdom principle works like this: progressive people get more progressive. Giving people get more generous. Loving people get more power to love, and people who chase after wisdom and knowledge will see revelation after revelation. The Bible puts it this way…

 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. – Matthew 13:12

If you sit around and say, “I’m helpless and can’t make it. I have no control over my life,” God has a wilderness for you where He will love you and help you to be a survivor.

Instead of saying, “Thank you and amen,” say, “YIKES!”

Trust Jesus. Go after the passion He has put in your heart because He will empower you with supernatural abilities to accomplish that vision. He will make you an overcomer!

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. – Deuteronomy 11:24

SAVOR GOD’S GOODNESS

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name this year is the year of impossibilities. I will taste and see how God will deliver me from the adversity that has been haunting me for so long. The Lord and His goodness are setting me free. 

SAVOR GOD’S GOODNESS

Like a fine, well-aged wine, we need to learn to truly savor the complexity of God’s Word. Unfortunately, like wine, many times we’re so distracted by life, that we just swallow it for the sake of digesting.

It’s from learning from and appreciating our complex experience with God that we recognize His awesome goodness. 

The Bible says in Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the LORD is good.” Not, “O consume and see that the LORD is good.” Let God show you His goodness through a lingering and ongoing personal experience with Him each time you read, hear or meditate on scripture.

Many of us limit our experience to church service or daily Bible reading. While both are good things, Kingdom learning is not cerebral. We don’t just learn about Jesus through books and teachings alone. We truly learn about Jesus through personal encounter. 

Tasting is a personal experience. As you mature in your relationship with Christ, you will learn to explore and identify the complexities and layers His Word has to offer. Remember, His Word is the very essence of who He is. John 1:1 says that “In the beginning was the Word,” meaning before He became a six pound Jew named Jesus, He was known in Heaven as “The Word.”

That Word is complex and creative. God’s goodness is like that — like a fine wine we can still taste long after the party is over.

I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. – Psalm 119:16

THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THINGS

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that the Father picks me up when I have fallen. He sees my value despite my failures. His goodness, grace and mercy allows me to learn from my mistakes. He is maturing me for my purpose and destiny today. 

THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THINGS

I can’t stand it when things aren’t done right, especially in the body of Christ. Like most leaders, movers and shakers, I get a God-given vision and I want to see it through – the right way.

The Lord made one thing crystal clear to me about the work you and I do for him: Just as there is a right way to do all things, there is a right way to handle those things which are not done right.

Yes, there is a correct way to handle yourself in situations that are far less than perfect or when you have to deal with shoddy work done by folks you trusted. First, you plan and plan, work and work, and do all that you can do. If the results still seem like a dud, go with what you have and make the greatest example of Jesus you possibly can.

Make whatever situation you have been handed glorify the Lord. Remember my mantra: blessed are the flexible. Retain your witness and trust the Holy Spirit to lead you through what sometimes feels like failure – painful failure.

Know this: there will be a time for corrections after the situation is over. However, at that critical point, Jesus is trusting you to make the most of a mess – and the most of His name!

If you worked at a large corporation where the boss was on the top floor and you never saw him, but you worked with his daughter, and she was always angry, blaming others, firing people and letting everyone know what a bad job they were doing, what would you think of her father, the boss man?

You would think he is just like his angry, messed up daughter!

Remember, we bear the family name of Jesus Christ. When we lose it, pass the buck or attack other Christians when things don’t go as we planned, we’re putting a black mark on our heavenly Father’s reputation. This is also called “taking His name in vain,” and it’s one of the Ten Commandments.

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. – Exodus 20:7

Threatened with invasion and takeover of the entire land of Judah by King Sennacherib of Assyria, King Hezekiah laid out the threat before the Lord and prayed in earnest. The prophet Isaiah brought this response:

TERRITORIAL SPIRITS – POWERS, PRINCIPALITIES

Daniel 10:20 Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. 21 But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. (No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince.)

TERRITORIAL SPIRITS AND PRINCIPALITIES IN HEAVENLY REALMS WERE VERY FAMILIAR TO THE DISCIPLES AND NEW TESTAMENT BELIEVERS:

Romans 8:38 – For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

Ephesians 3:10 – to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Colossians 1:16 – For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Colossians 2:15 – Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

ENOCH RECORDS 70 NATIONS AND 70 PRINCIPALITIES OVER THOSE NATIONS.
PRINCIPALITIES WERE CREATED TO BE GOD’S AMBASSADORS TO MANKIND – TO SERVE AS RIGHTEOUS JUDGES TO HELP MANKIND UNDERSTAND GOD, MORALITY AND THE WORLD THEY LIVED IN.

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT THESE PRINCIPALITIES WERE CALLED “THE WATCHERS” OR
“THE SONS OF GOD.”

Job 1:6 – (Satan Attacks Job’s Character) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.

Job 38:7– When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

NEBUCHADNEZZAR’S PUNISHMENT TO EAT GRASS LIKE A BEAST FOR 7 YEARS WAS SET BY THE WATCHERS.
Daniel 4:17 – ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’

MANY OF THESE PRINCIPALITIES FELL FROM HEAVEN AND BECAME CORRUPT.

Genesis 6:2 – Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” …
Genesis 6:4 –There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

THEY NO LONGER HAD MAN’S BEST INTERESTS AT HEART AND BECAME THE “FALSE” GODS OF GREEK, ROMAN AND EGYPTIAN “MYTHOLOGY”

Psalm 82 (A Plea for Justice) God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. 2 How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4 Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.
5 They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable. 6 I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. 7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”

WHAT IS THIS HAPPENING HERE? THESE FALLEN ANGELIC BEINGS ARE IN GOD’S THRONE ROOM AND HE IS SPEAKING TO THEM – THE “CONGREGATION OF THE MIGHTY.” THEY ARE “LITTLE G” OR LESSER “GODS” BECAUSE THEY ARE CREATED HIGH LEVEL ANGELIC BEINGS WITH GREAT POWERS. THEY ARE REBELLIOUS AND FALLEN, YET THEY ARE IN HIS PRESENCE????

DOES GOD’S THRONE ROOM IN HEAVEN HAVE A BORDER OR BOUNDARY? HERE ARE THREE MORE INSTANCES WHEN FALLEN ANGELIC BEINGS WALK INTO HEAVEN’S THRONE ROOM:

1 Kings 22:19-22 – Then Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left. 20 And the Lord said, ‘Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner. 21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said, ‘I will persuade him.’ 22 The Lord said to him, ‘In what way?’ So he said, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said, ‘You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW SATAN & EVIL SPIRITS IN HEAVEN?

THEY DON’T GET TO STAYTHEY ARE STILL SONS OF GOD WITH ACCESS UNTIL GOD TAKES AWAY THE KEY AND SAYS “ACCESS DENIED.” WHEN WILL THAT BE?

Revelation 12:7-9 – (Satan Thrown Out of Heaven) And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

MANY THINK THIS VERSE IS A “REPLAY” OF SATAN’S ORIGINAL SIN AND BEING CAST OUT OF HEAVEN. IT IS NOT. THE FIRST TIME, WE WAS CAST DOWN TO EARTH TO “WANDER TO AND FRO” AND GO BACK TO THE THRONE ROOM TO ACCUSE THE SAINTS.

THIS TIME, HE IS CAST TO EARTH TO ENTER THE ANTI-CHRIST AND RULE MANKIND IN PERSON FOR 3 1/2 YEARS.

AS FAR AS THESE DEMONIC PRINCIPALITIES ARE CONCERNED, WHAT ARE MANKIND’S BOUNDARIES? DO WE HAVE THE POWER TO DEFEAT THEM IF WE ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND USING OUR CHRIST-GIVEN AUTHORITY? YES!!!

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 – For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

MANKIND WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF THE FALLEN “SONS OF GOD” IN THE HEAVENLY REALM

Luke 20:35-37 – But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

I declare in Jesus’ name that God Almighty is sending His angel armies to fight for me today. The battle is the Lord’s and I rest in Him. He is bringing me victory in places of defeat and delivering me from the hand of my enemies. The table is set!

IN HIS HANDS

Can I tell you, without making you mad, that angels are not chubby white babies with wings and harps? Here’s another shocker: when good people die, they do not – I repeat, do not – become angels spreading joy and happiness throughout heaven. 

Angels are God’s special creation. According to the Bible, angels are warriors and they are chomping at the bit to kill somebody!

When Peter went to defend Jesus with a sword, Jesus told him, “I don’t need you to defend me. I have twelve legions of angels at my disposal any time I call for them.”

Heck, who needs 12 legions when 2 Kings 19 records a single angel killing 185,000 Assyrians? 

So if there are 6,000 soldiers in a legion, 12 legions is 72,000 soldiers. If one angel is powerful enough to kill 185,000 people, do the math: 12 legions could kill 13 billion people! It is estimated that the world’s population at the time of Christ was only 250 million people. The population of the world didn’t even reach 1 billion until 1804!

The point is, if 12 legions of angels could take out a minimum of 13 billion people, Jesus held the safety of the entire world in His hands. He still does.

That truly gives new meaning to the children’s Sunday School song, “He’s got the whole world in His hands,” and it’s a very good place to be.

So make sure you understand that angels are powerful warriors that war in the heavens on our behalf. Need supernatural deliverance? Ask Jesus to unleash an angel to fight for you when Satan is breathing down your neck. They’re just waiting for the command to war against the enemy for you!

Also know that Jesus is in control today, just as much as He was in control in the Garden of Gethsemane. Fear not!

But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” – Matthew 26: 52-54
