So...Book One

Okay, it's widely known I'm not a plotter. I'm a pantser. Mainly because I know my characters, we're cool. What we're going to do for 60K words...that is the hard part. Actually, that isn't even the hard part. I thrive on inner conflict. I could internal plot you into the ground, but I fail at external plotting. Sad but true.

I have been trying to get into the swing of outlining so that I have set points to carry my randomness from Point A to Point B in a cohesive manner. It worked like a char...

Catch Me in Castile by Kimberley Troutte

For my first pimp on the new blog, here is Ms. Troutte's offering. Her novel, Catch Me in Castile, has gone to print. How exciting is that?

I happen to know first hand that she is a very talented author and a very giving person. She recently saved my sanity, and I'm so very grateful for her kindness. Oh, I should also mention that Soul Stealer is my favorite title of hers. ;)

When the mother of all panic attacks...

Paranormal Pretties

I'm blogging today over at Paranormal Pretties about submissions and expectations. It's really just a long and rambling post about those two topics. Very long and very rambling. I guess I needed to vent. Good thing I'm a blogger, eh?

Check it out here if you are so inclined.

New WIP

Now that Wicked Kin is all tied up with a bow and waiting on my editor's desk, I need a new project. I had planned to revise Fete, had started a few different versions of it as a matter of fact, but I just can't finish it. Not in a way that I will look back on and be content with.

I sent out the email today saying I needed more time, more experience before I was able to fully realize that world and execute the intricate plotting it will require. In short, as I've said a million times before, I...

Pardon My Dust

Well, I thought I had seen the last of Blogger. I love WordPress muchly, and have been very happy with it in the day-to-day sense, but its lack of design capabilities has been driving me slowly crazy. You guys know how I am... I change my website and forum out several times a year, sometimes to celebrate book releases or just because I'm bored. ;)

So here we are, back in Blogger, and I've got to say I'm impressed so far. This blog took a day to customize and load all my links and posts I felt ...

Another New Everlong Review

This one from Manic Readers.
Everlong was a fabulous paranormal/fantasy romance. I was sucked in from the beginning fight scene to the beautiful kiss at the end. This story has everything you could possible wish for: a great plot, fantastic characters, mystery, intrigue, romance, and a nice twist to the ending. Ms. Edwards has written her characters in a way that you feel you are experiencing every emotion and activity with them. You can feel Maddie's heartache when Harper disappears...

Everlong Reviewed!

This review popped up on the Dark Divas Review site today. It made my day. :D
Whew! Everlong should come with a three hankie warning on it! Ms. Edwards has penned a truly emotional tale of love lost with the heroine recovering to only find love in the most unlikely of place. While this story not only satisfied this reviewer's inner romantic side, it also throws in a healthy dose of paranormal with some absolutely delicious demons.

I won't lie, if you pick up this book, there will be...

Oh Baby! Red Velvet Cheesecake!

You can't top this. It can't be done. Mom found this recipe last night and we're trying it over the next two days. If it works, it might very well be the perfect food.

Search Stories

I saw this cool little toy on Divas today and you know I had to play around with the idea. It's called Search Stories and gives a very interesting peek over someone's shoulder as they research the topic of their choice.

Here is the one I made for Wicked.

Go ahead. Give it a try. You know you want to.

Check it out here.

Romance in the Backseat

[image error] Hey all, I was invited to blog on Romance in the [image error] Backseat's paranormal blog, Backseat Nightmares.

Swing by and check it out if you are so inclined.

My topic was the appeal of fantasy, and yes, ice cream and Jim Butcher were involved. ;)
