Walking The Edge with Sue Ward Drake

What do a former army sniper and an uptight ghost tour
guide have to do with each other? Well, there’s the way the army veteran
gives the woman-with-better-things-to-do soldering glances. And the way the
French Quarter ghost guide can’t seem to turn around without running smack into
his broad chest. But they’re both beating the bushes to find her
hearing-impaired younger brother and decide to do

A Joyful Heart

by Diana McCollum

For the first time ever we can truly say 2020 is behind us!

There is a vaccine coming to all of us very soon! With the vaccine, when most people are vaccinated, will come a shift towards life as we knew it before the pandemic. I don’t want to dwell on all the negativity that has been part of all our lives right through today.

Instead, what are we going to do going forward? I

Focus for 2021 and Bye for Now by Dora Bramden

Whenever I turn my mind to planning the year ahead, I
usually come up with a word that lets me focus on what I feel needs my
attention most. What will my priority be for the coming year? I have had words like travel, family, marriage, study, and health. The word enables me to not get

What Did We Learn?

By Robin WeaverReflecting on 2020, I found myself reexamining Maslow's Hierarchy
of Needs. Given the world’s current problems, old Maslow may be the last thing
on your mind. But, isn’t the year we just “endured” a testament to the validity

Welcoming 2021 by Paty Jager

This past year has been tough for many people, and we are all excited to move forward with the hope the virus will run it's course and the world can get back to normal.I have to admit, living as rural as we do, our only inconvenience was wearing a mask when we went to town and several of my conferences were canceled. I know there are many others who've lost income and loved ones. And others who

HOPE and plans for 2021

 Hi, I’m Judith Ashley, author
of The Sacred Women’s Circle series, soul nourishing romantic women’s fiction with
light paranormal elements. My stories show you what life could be like if you
had a place like The Circle where you are unconditionally accepted, supported
and loved. And where, with this support, you make choices to overcome the
darkest nights and choose love and light.

Hello 2021

Setting The Hook: Book Blurbing for the Reluctant Author

By
Carolan Ivey, “The Blurb Wizard”

My book
blurbing career started one summer night over Hurricane cocktails in the French
Quarter of New Orleans. But that’s a story for another day. Er, what I remember
of it, anyway…

I’ve
written a little bit of everything: hard news, short stories, technical
documentation, how-to software guides, and advertising/marketing copy. What do
all these disparate
