Christmas With My Author Friends

Christmas is coming ! Time off work, time with family and friends. Time to relax (after the festivities) and read. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere (like here in Australia) then that might be on the beach or next to a pool. Or if you're up north, you might be lucky enough (from the perspective of someone who's never had one) to be cosy with a fireplace and a 'white Christmas'. )That's

Holiday Romances – a Balm to the Heart and Soul ... by Delsora Lowe

With all the craziness going on around us in this upside-down state of the world, reading romance, and especially holiday romance, is a great escape.
And at this time of year (as I begin writing this blog in October,) it is hard not to think about reading Christmas-based stories when so many are put on sale in the fall. Plus, the new releases are quickly coming out now. So, yeah, I got a bit

A new member of my family…by Kristin Wallace

If my eyes look a little baggy it’s because I have a new baby. Only this baby has four legs and fur. I have a new puppy; the first dog I’ve had as an adult. I have to say it’s kinda like dealing with a toddler.  Meet Cocoa…my Teacup Chihuahua. It’s been on my mind to get a dog for a while. I’ve been living in my apartment for years and technically not supposed to have pets. But I decided a small

Once Upon A Winter Solstice #holiday #solstice

Hi, I'm Pippa Jay, author of scifi and supernatural stories with a romantic soul.I'm not gonna lie - I've always struggled with holiday stories. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if scifi is a genre that doesn't lend itself easily to such (hint - it's probably me!). Several years back I had a hankering to do some holiday tales, but somehow my mind struggled to wrap itself around such concepts as

The Crooked Halo Series-Book 2

by Diana MccollumKathy Coatney is a multi-published author. Her Crooked Halo Series is such an interesting concept. Aurora is the head angel of the Lost Soul Division, of Heaven Sent, a private detective agency run by three retired nuns. She is in charge  of angels Olivia and Zack. She sends them on a joint mission in hopes of bringing them together for their happily ever after. I love that the

Holiday Romance Author Erin McLellan

Erin and I are both Alaskan authors. I had the pleasure of interviewing her recently—enjoy!Lynn Lovegreen What do you write, and what do you enjoy about it? I write queer contemporary romance. Some of my work is angsty and some is really fluffy and light. All of it is very sexy. I enjoy writing contemporary romance because I like exploring slice-of-life scenarios in locales that are interesting

What's in a pseudonym? Ask Stacey

I know the RtG plan was for the genre-istas to write about Christmas romances this month. I admit, after the turmoil 2020 has presented so far, many people really need something festive. But if you’ve read my posts before, you know I often find myself straying from the group. For this month, I knew I had to write about a writing queen, Selena Montgomery. Montgomery is an award-winning author of

A Christmas Story by Eleri Grace

I have a more contemporary holiday reading recommendation to
share, but I wanted to start with a choice set closer to the time period in
which I write (WW2). All these years that I’ve enjoyed watching this classic
movie during the holiday season I had mentally dated its setting as post-WW2. I
always assumed it was set during the ten years immediately after the war
(1945-55). Wrong. While looking

The Most Readable Time of The Year!

By Marcia King-Gamblewww.lovemarcia.com

So, here we are with Halloween behind us and the holiday
frenzy already in full swing.  There are friends
who put up their Christmas tree the moment the Halloween decorations come down.
Not me. I am not that inclined.  I want
to savor and enjoy Thanksgiving in all of its grandeur.

What the approaching holiday season makes me want to do, is read,
read,

Christmas Queen, Sue Moorcroft

One winter I jokingly changed my Twitter name to ‘Sue Christmas
Queen Moorcroft'. Other people have taken up the joke and call me that or say
‘Sue Moorcroft is the Queen of Christmas!’ It’s certainly true that my Christmas
books have become amongst my most successful. This year
Christmas Wishes makes its debut in the UK at the same time as
Let it Snow and The Christmas Promise go into
paperback
