know the ones: kittens falling asleep in mid-play, puppies that go crazy gazing at
themselves in a mirror, or dogs and cats interacting hilariously with babies,
squirrels, and birds. These displays alleviate our tensions, a “paws” in the
stresses of daily life. We

(peering into the crystal ball)But to look a little way ahead, on a little scale like my own goals, I like to look behind. What this lets me do is be very realistic about what I can and can't achieve.Failing to SuccessThis used to be my

They might make you think of your parents or grandparents. We all have traditional decorations that

A Merry Christmas Cover Reveal #scifi #mystery

Hi, I'm Pippa Jay, author of scifi and supernatural stories with a romantic soul. And this month I'm finally releasing a 'Christmas' story I started seven years ago. Yep, you read that right. It has taken me seven whole years to get this story from idea to completed work. And it's not even that long! Just a winter solstice space mystery novella, a mere 25000 words. But oh, it's been a

The Magic of Winter

It's no secret that I'm a summer girl. Beaches without frozen water, warm sand not ice sand, and waves not ice caves are my jam. BUT... there is something magic about the world after it has snowed really hard... Everything is just soooooo white...      soooooo cold....           soooo still...The ideal conditions to commit murder! (Or drink hot chocolate and eat doughnuts but since I'm talking

Stories have taken me away from all the stresses of the world this holiday
season. I did download way too many holiday books this year, so I’ve also listed
the ones I won’t get to until after this blog posts. As you can see, I plan to
hibernate and bury my head in —no— not sand, but romance books until 2021 ushers
its way in. And yes, too many books to read, so while the snow flies in January,
