Jen Amber, so so HOT!
Hello, there is hot and then there is, OMG, what in the hell is that hot. Jen Amber falls into the latter category in my opinion. I actually had to turn down the heat in the house when I saw her for the first time. Of course my mom yelled at me for touching the thermostat. Damn, why can't my mom just leave me alone? It isn't like I bother her that much. I stay in my bedroom by myself most of the time. Sitting there in the dark, dreaming of Jen Amber in the pool, taking a dip. Shit, I ...

A Stabbing for Sadie
This was an absolutely fantastic first novel by the Author, Wednesday Lee Friday. "A Stabbing for Sadie", is mesmerizingly disturbing as it weaves you through the life of a mentally disturbed little girl who grows up, but grows up broken. I flew through the novel, anticipating each page faster than my eyes could keep up with the words. It has been a long time since a book blew me away with such an in depth, almost personal connection, as Sadie's story painfully unfolds. If Duncan Moron...

Balkan Brass
What is it about the deep thrum of a tuba, the short bursts of a trumpet, and the drawn out sighs of a trombone that I find so damn sexy?
My first taste of live Balkan music was at Amnesia in San Francisco. Rachel Brice was performing- that sultry snake of a belly dancer. She was the one I had gone to see, but when the band for the night, "Brass Menazeri", started playing, it was the music that had me captivated and wanting more. (But don't get me wrong, Rachel kicked ass that night!)
Something...

My Life 5/19/10 Equality of Siblings
Moving brings to light a multitude of things that you may never have expected. How dirty it really is underneath your bed for instance. You might find out the remote control you lost was mysteriously hiding behind the TV the entire time. Maybe those socks that disappeared out of the laundry are really hiding in your dog's blanket, which you might have been better off washing after all. Damn, those dog beds really do stink don't they. It also, at least for me, opened up just how...

Pearl Isoko, EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
JournalStone had the pleasure of sitting down with Pearl Isoko and doing an exclusive interview. It just doesn't seem fair when a girl this beautiful is intelligent as well. I admittedly must be getting lucky because it seems most of the models we have been interviewing are damn smart. Maybe it is me, and I am a little slow, but I am sticking with the first story. Pearl Isoko has aspirations of becoming a doctor someday and I for one want to support her. I swear, if my doctor looked...

Shauna Swett, or is it Noelle, or just Sweet!
What is it with those Italian women? They get all feisty and up in your face. Damn, you add a little Greek in the mix and raise them in Boston and all you get is a whole lot of trouble. Not that Shauna Swett, (Noelle) is trouble. Damn, I can't even figure out what her last name is. I am just saying she looks like trouble. Probably because my girlfriend is Italian and she actually is a whole lot of trouble. Damn, can I say that in this blog and not get in even more hot water. Maybe...

Surrogates
"Surrogates" is an action movie taking place in a world where there is no action. Not any real action anyway. Everyone in the world is allowed to sit in their homes and their replica robot is a doing all the real living. Granted you feel what the robot feels, and you control the robot. All of this from the comfort of your home. You literally never have to leave the house, EVER. You can also choose your robot to look like anyone or anything. You can be a hot smoking blonde girl, even...
The Prophecy of Zephyrus
"The Prophecy of Zephyrus", written by G.A. Hesse targets the young adult audience. I was excited to receive this book since it was my first free novel won through the LibraryThing review a book give-a-way program. Granted I am not a young adult, but I enjoy science fiction fantasy, so I figured why not give it a whirl. I didn't know anything about the author and had no preconceived notions on how good or bad the book might be. Nothing like opening a cover and taking a chance with...
Sol Walker, Dangerous Curves, Handle with care!
I live in CA which means there are more twisting up and down roads than I could ever remember. Zipping around curves riding a motorcycle is a major pastime down in Woodside, as you see cycles cruising past cars going as fast as they possibly can. All I can say is anyone who loves the thrill of some dangerous twists and turns will absolutely love Sol Walker. This woman has more curves than almost any woman I have ever seen. The one exception might be Rosa Acosta who also defines the hour g...

Iron Man II
You know you have an all star cast when Samuel L. Jackson plays a bit role. Is there anyone out there looking forward to "The Avengers" movie in 2012. Robert Downey Jr. is one of my all time favorite actors. The dude can play any role and make you believe he really is the character he is portraying. I swear there are times that I now think he actually is Tony Stark. How can the guy be so versatile? In addition to these two you have Don Cheadle adequately playing the role of Lt. Colonel ...
