Lady Porn Day and Masturbation
Betty Dodson and Carlin Ross give us their feedback on the best of Lady Porn Day and give us juicy explanations on female masturbation, on what makes us horny, on what gets us stimulated (watch the video here).

Happy LadyPorn Day!
Today is a special day! First, it's Lady Porn Day! and it's also my birthday! Today the feminist spirits will be all over!
Rabbit Write is a blog by Rachel Rabbit White, sex journalist, about "navigating sex, gender and relationships. Especially the most important relationship of all, the one with yourself."

Hotel – Filming in Casa Camper
I told you last year about the Casa Camper project – Hotel – by the production company Boolab.
1 hotel. 6 directors. 24 hours.
Like Roger Gual & Steve Green, Nico Casavecchia, Sofá Experience, Celia Galán and Danny Ilario, I had the opportunity to shoot a short film in the famous Camper hotel in Barcelona, and I decided to make the sequel of my latest short film: Handcuffs, and call it Love Hotel (Watch the making of)
And the whole film will finally be premiered next week, on February 25th, on www.hotelcasacamper.tv !

Do women enjoy porn?
Do women enjoy porn?
That's what the Daily Bed Post asked women in the street. Most women say they do watch porn and most of them do to have a laugh or to spice up the sex with their partner. My reaction to this is thinking that although porn is not really a taboo word anymore, the main motivation behind it is still not the one I would like it to be, which is: pure personal pleasure. Not to learn how to do a blow job (although porn can help you learn stuff and get new ideas), not to mock bad porn, but to enjoy their body and really help fulfil their sexuality.
However, we're on the right way so ladies, enjoy porn and say it!

Valentine & Vagina
As you know Valentine's day is coming up. It's never been feminism's best friend and I've personnally never really been a fan of that "holiday" but I think it's nice to dedicate some time to celebrate what you have with your special person, although I'd rather exchange charged up toys than corny cards, but again, every one is entitled to do whatever feels right.
However, although the sugar from the heart-shaped chocolates might make us see all in pink, we shouldn't forget about all the women who still don't get the respect they deserve and have to go through violence and humiliations, everyday in the world, in your city, in your building. That's why you could make this Valentine's day really important and support V-day, a non-profit organization founded by Vagina Monologues' Author Eve Ensler, with a mission to stop violence against women and girls around the world. Their core beliefs are:
Art has the power to reach, transform and inspire people to act.
Empowered women are unstoppable leaders and lasting social and cultural change is spread through their experience.
You cannot end violence against women without looking at the intersection of poverty, racism, the environment and war.
They recently opened City of Joy, a community to help Congolese women by providing group therapy, sexuality education, economic empowerment, dance, theater…
To help, you can create an event or participate in one of the many V-Day events in the world to help raise awareness…

Kanye West's Monster Video
Many people have undermined feminism by building a cliché of barking ladies just complaining about everything. I'm a feminist, and I don't bark. I don't like easy targets and empty debates.
That's why I'm going to try to ponder my reaction, if I can, on Kanye West's new Monster video. You might have seen it already. His new video is full of vampires, werewolves, and zombies. More precisely, dead women hanging from the roof, laying in a bed while he decides how to "arrange them" or going crazy over Kanye's body. Yeah. Because he's so hot we, weak women, can't control ourselves…
Life Samhita from Feministing who's tried to defend Kanye West, I looked for a second degree or some kind of black humour in this video, a meaning, a statement, and I read the lyrics, but I found nothing. Just plain misogyny and the worst is I think he doesn't even realize it.
Apart from the fact that this content is completely lazy, it is really offensive and I don't understand how people can think this is totally normal.
What do you think?

New Amateur Night Competition
The Feminist Porn Awards is a celebration of erotica organized by Good For Her, Toronto's cozy, comfortable place where women and their admirers can find a variety of high quality sex entertainment, and this year they're celebrating their 6th anniversary!
Since this event allows them to spread a lot of great creations like they did with Handcuffs which was voted Sexiest Short Film last year, they decided to create a new Amateur Night Competition to give a chance to new directors to let people know about their work and spread their message.
This new category will be held on April 8th at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto. If you wish to participate, remember that the deadline for aspiring adult fimlmakers is February 15th.
If you have new ideas on porn, if you want to transmit something new, then this is a great opportunity to make the world of porn better.
Submissions must meet at least one of the following criteria:
1) The work depicts genuine pleasure, agency and desire. These movies may also include a focus on connection, communication and collaboration between the performers and/or between the performers and filmmakers.
2) The work expands the boundaries of sexual representation on film, challenges stereotypes and presents a vision that sets the content apart from most mainstream pornography. This may include depicting a diversity of desires, types of people, bodies, sexual practices, and/or an anti-racist or anti-oppression framework throughout the production.
Categories for awards may include, but are not limited to: Canadian Content, Lesbian/Dyke, Diverse Cast/Representation, Emerging Filmmaker, Kink/Fetish, Lesbian/Dyke, Straight, Trans, and Website.
The Feminist Porn Awards are one of the best initiatives I've seen that help our whole community go forward on sexuality and anti-prejudices matters.

Naughty Gallery
As you know my new website XConfessions.com is up and running and people have been pretty optimistic about it. Confessions from all over the world are posted every day, both in Spanish and English. Now, I would like to develop more the gallery part and upload hot pictures and designs to illustrate them.
Here's a preview of the current gallery, but I would like to receive material from all the people who follow the Lust adventure and upload their work on the website and promote them at the same time.

Getting hot at the Rainbow House
This clip called "Devendra Banhart at the Rainbow House" was directed by photographer Lisa Eisner, for Oliver Peoples' eyewear collection '11 in the Rainbow House, designed by John Lautner, in Los Angeles.
I especially like the light and the "retro california" style in the video, and of course the music which adds a nice atmosphere to the set. Another thing that I think adds something special to the video is the fact that the couple, formed by Devendra Banhart (musician) y Rebecca Schwartz (model) are an actual couple in real life, and I reckon it gives it an authentic feeling of intimacy.
