Cozy mystery author, Darci Hannah, is a native of the Midwest and currently lives in a small town in Michigan. Darci is a lifelong lover of the Great Lakes, a natural wonder that inspires many of her stories. When Darci isn't baking for family and friends, hiking with her furry pals, Ripley and Finn, or concocting her next cozy mystery, she can be found wandering around picturesque lakeside villages with her hubby, sampling baked goods, and breaking for coffee more often than she should.

In addition to cozy mysteries, Darci's other passion is writing historical fiction. She is the author of The Exile of Sara Stevenson
(Ballantine Books, 2010, 2nd edition by Piffle & Bombast 2016) and The Angel of Blythe Hall (Ballantine Books, 2011)

Hi Bailey,
To answer your question, Murder at the Campfire Cookout will be the last in the Beacon Bakeshop Mysteries in the mass market format. I was crushed by this too. This decision was made by the publisher, and since bookstores like Barnes & Noble will no longer carry mass market books, we thought it best to end the series here then relaunch it in a new trade paperback format. This means the series will continue, only with a slightly different hook and under a new series title, but all the characters and the setting of Beacon Harbor will remain the same. I'm writing the first one now, and I think you're going to love it! I don't have a pub date on it yet, but when I do I'll spread the word. Thank you for your question!(less)

Hi Lizz,
I'm so glad you're excited about your Beacon Bakeshop Birthday Release! LOL! I'm really excited about this next one too because it's the first Christmas book I've ever written. I hope you love it. And yes, there will be at least one more book after that. Keeping fingers crossed that my publisher will let me keep writing this series.
Thanks for the question!

“Beacon Harbor’s changed you. In New York you were always in your Wall Street tower counting money. Now you’re frying donuts, conversing with a ghost, and chasing after a backwoods enigma who just might be a closet poisoner. You picked a strange day to give up wine, Lindsey, darling.”
