4/12/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

The Republican primary system is not rigged, but Donald Trump insists that it is. He sounds like an entitled liberal demanding delegates from Colorado without having put in the work to win them. The delegate appointment rules in most of these primaries have been established for nearly a century. In Colorado, for example, the rules for this primary process have been in place since 1912. Has the system been corrupt for 100 years? No. This has never been a pure democracy, we have a federalist system and the states determine the rules for their primaries. It’s the candidate’s job to navigate those rules. After that, you have two camps, the progressive populists and the Republican Whig party which protects Mitch McConnell. What America needs is to unleash the economy with Reagan conservatives and stop the growth of the federal bureaucracy. In addition, Bernie Sanders and liberals’ entire goal is to destroy society and replace it with a utopia. Sanders’ latest victim of attack is the Walton family and Walmart who creates many jobs for the middle class. This is unlike Sanders who claims to be for the middle class yet has never created a job. What Sanders is really angry about is that the government doesn’t control Walmart. Also, the Establishment may get its way with Rule 40B which allows delegates who are bound on the first ballot to show a preference for a secondary candidate. This preference could give a candidate who doesn’t meet the 8 states majority threshold enough states to qualify.

Colorado’s delegate allocation was fair and there really was no controversy at all. Colorado has been awarding their delegates essentially the same exact way since 1912. This was not an effort to undermine the people but an effort to give them a voice. Now Donald Trump and his surrogates are claiming that it is unfair for Colorado not to hold a vote. Colorado is yet another state being smeared for not buckling to Trump. Congressman Ken Buck of Colorado calls in and explained why voters were not disenfranchised as Trump is suggesting and why there is no fury about the process. Not all states have primaries and Trump needs to accept this fact. Many states have primaries, while others choose to have caucuses where delegates are unbound. Later, Bernie Sanders can’t even get support for Israel right. How can Israel not respond to an organization, Hamas, that unleashes terror attacks against it?

4/8/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

If you listen to Ted Cruz you know exactly what he means by “New York values”. Cruz was referring to people taxing New Yorkers into oblivion and treating cops and other emergency personnel badly. In addition, for Jeffrey Toobin and Geraldo Rivera to refer to Cruz as making anti-Semitic comments is absurd. Cruz has been more supportive of Jews in this country and Israel than Jeffrey Toobin and other libs ever could be. Anyone who is intelligent enough to examine the issues knows that Cruz is standing up for the good guys. After that, the New York City Council is now honoring Ethel Rosenburg, a convicted Soviet Spy. That is exactly what Senator Cruz was referring to when he mentioned “New York values”. Later, CEI is the latest victim of the climate change skepticism witch hunt. They have been subpoenaed by the U.S. Virgin Islands and are under attack for opposing climate change. Also, organizations like AGs United for Cleaner Power are trying to silence and threaten those who oppose climate change by conducting these attacks.

4/7/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

Dwight Eisenhower and Abraham Lincoln never complained about having a contested convention, so why is Donald Trump? When previous candidates had to go to a contested convention, they knew what they had to do and what the rules were. Trump and his surrogates may not think the system is fair but it gave us Eisenhower and Lincoln. After that, Iran is a horrific regime inside and out. They have killed scores and scores of U.S. soldiers and are exporting terrorism. However, the Obama administration is advising international banks on how to get around the sanctions to provide Iran with finances. President Obama and his underlings are conspiring with Iran against the American people. Later, in some respects America is up for grabs. The status quo can’t go on forever with the army of bureaucrats, wide open borders, enemies abroad, and $13 trillion in debt. The left never tires of promoting its massive big government agenda, but its growth is not inevitable. That is why we as conservatives must continue to advance our ideas. Finally, Rep. Marlin Stutzman calls in to discuss his Senate campaign and Sen. Mitch McConnell’s plot to stop him.

4/6/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

Tuesday was a crushing victory for Ted Cruz in Wisconsin over Donald Trump and John Kasich. Cruz out performed even the best polls. However, now Trump is complaining and blaming his loss on Cruz having Establishment backing. Ironically, Trump was backed by the establishment in Iowa, and is just pointing fingers. There is no one more anti-establishment than Ted Cruz, who wants a flat tax, to abolish the IRS and get rid of sanctuary cities. This whining by Trump surrogates is pathetic. In addition, Trump complains about the Republican Convention rules, but the rules are actually positioned in his favor. After that, progressive populists want to get rid of the Electoral College, so that the people can decide. However, somethings are not up for grabs by the public because they are God given. There is a right and wrong, and they can’t be decided by the majority. Finally, California’s attorney general had police raid a pro-life activist, David Daleiden’s home. Daleiden is part of the Center for Medical Progress and was instrumental in obtaining footage on Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby fetal parts. This is outrageously out of proportion to the offense alleged against Daleiden and sullies the reputation of law enforcement there.

4/5/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

The Republican establishment and Cruz and Trump supporters, need to accept the Republican convention rules as they are written and play fair. There are two rules specifically rule 40, which must not be changed. Candidates who were running for office knew what the rules were when they started and should not seek to alter them like Donald Trump or the Establishment are. Any change to those rules will be made either to ram the nomination through for Donald Trump, or to ram it through for the Republican establishment. And both sides would be wrong to do so. The Establishment despises conservatives and demonstrates that they do not believe in the American heritage. They have no right to decide who should be the nominee. In addition, the Republican Whig Establishment would rather lose to Hillary Clinton than win with Cruz or Trump. If you believe that Hillary is responsible for the rise of ISIS, and promoting socialism, then how could you take any steps to put her in the Oval Office? Later, the Obama administration is saying it may be wrong for landlords to refuse those with criminal records. Now they are saying this is discriminatory and are misusing the Fair Housing Act. This is why we cannot elect a Hillary or Bernie Sanders to the presidency.

4/4/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

Even Donald Trump wants government in the workplace when it comes to tariffs. We already have over 12,000 tariffs in this country which are taxes on the American people. The people who sign them into law most of the time are not thinking of the American people, but of the special interests and lobbyists that want them. Tariffs are nothing more than massive taxes that burden us and destroy other industries. They don’t even tax the countries that we put them on but tax the American citizen. Americans should need to remember the after effects of Smoot Hawley, signed in law in 1930, which contributed to the Great Depression. After that, the coal industry is most abused by the U.S. government. The EPA and its heavy handed regulations are putting thousands of coal mines out of business. Later, Ted Cruz calls in to talk about rule 40 at the Republican convention and why the RNC is wrong about the 2012 rules not applying to the 2016 convention and what will happen to this election if Trump is nominated.

The left and some on the right are advancing utopianism and have been gradually eroding the Constitution and America. To them liberty is immoral except when it benefits their vision of equality and utopia. As conservatives, we should not abandon our principles to chase phony promises or hopes of paradise. Later, if protectionism and tariffs were great then former President Herbert Hoover would have been the greatest president in U.S. history. Massive tariffs don’t work and are counterproductive to the economy. Currently, the U.S. has 12,000 tariffs in place. In addition, tariffs pass the cost of goods onto the consumer, and result in a poorer populace while the money ends up in the government’s hands. Instead of taxing the American people, we need to unleash the American economy. Donald Trump’s policies on trade will kill the economy and jobs. China and Japan are not the problem, but the EPA which is destroying the industrial heartland and other big government agencies are.

3/31/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

The FBI is entering the final phase of its investigation against Hillary Clinton. Hillary has made this country more vulnerable to enemies as a result of her actions with her e-mail server. It’s ironic that the leading candidate for the Democratic Party is at the center of a criminal investigation; Ted Cruz and Donald Trump aren’t. Hillary is qualified to be a prisoner, not a President. After that, Donald Trump’s answer on abortion shows that he doesn’t have a mature and developed position on it. Trump doesn’t have a lot of developed thoughts on many issues. What America needs is a presidential candidate who knows the issues and can stand their ground on matters of principle. We don’t need more deal makers, we need victory and to restore the Republic. Later, Morton Blackwell, President of the Leadership Institute, calls in to talk about the RNC rules.

3/30/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

On Wednesday's Mark Levin show, Michelle Fields is the latest victim of the smear machine and Trump surrogates in the media. You would expect this kind of attack and war room activity from the Clinton machine and not the new and supposedly conservative media. Then we are told that these people are like the Reagan crowd, but they are not. Neither Ronald nor Nancy Reagan would have put up with this. The conservative Trump surrogates need to stop making fools of themselves by attacking Fields and the Jupiter police. Later, abortion is a substantive issue and Donald Trump should have a dug in position on it by now. The vast majority of pro-life people believe that the abortion provider should be punished and not the mother. This has been a pro-life belief for decades and Trump should be familiar with it. Ronald Reagan could state thoughtfully and articulately what his positions were on every issue. To compare Trump to Reagan is wrong. Finally, elections are just an interlude for the left which must always drive its agenda. If Hillary Clinton wins the presidency she will just continue to drive a hard left agenda that packs the courts with liberal judges and empowers Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
