3/16/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

There’s concern that this Republican nomination will be decided in a brokered convention but it’s not the first time it would have happened and won’t be the last time. It happened notably in 1860 which saw President Abraham Lincoln acquire the number of delegates over William Seward to become the Republican nominee and later President. Another was in 1976 that saw President Gerald Ford get the nomination over Ronald Reagan. Reagan lost, but he went on to influence the Republican Party for a time and the course of history. Later, President Obama wants a third Justice on the Supreme Court to advance his agenda. However, there is no right that Obama has to have his nominee heard in the Senate in the teeth of an election. Nothing in the Constitution obligates the Senate to hold a hearing on any Supreme Court nominee. It’s ironic that Democrats want Republicans to hear Obama’s nominee when their own party members, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, and John Kerry opposed President George W. Bush’s Supreme Court picks. The Republicans need to stand firm on this issue instead of breaking away.

3/15/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

Round three of Super Tuesday commences with primaries in Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina. Donald Trump is not a conservative, just ask his supporters; he is a populist, centrist, and an iron fisted guy. Trump has moved within the Republican Party to get his populist agenda across. Meanwhile, Ted Cruz, the only conservative candidate, is caught in the middle of Trump and the Establishment and conservatives are being shut out of the process. Conservatives need to get smart and not pretend that either of those camps represents them. They shouldn’t dabble with either side but need to get behind the only conservative candidate in the race. In addition, Donald Trump has the highest disapproval ratings of any candidate. Even Hillary Clinton’s approval ratings are above Trump’s. Later, Florida has been called for Donald Trump and Marco Rubio has announced that he is dropping out of the presidential race.

This election was our best chance to embrace conservative principles and unite in opposition to the left, yet a good portion of it has been wasted. The Republican nomination has turned into infighting and mudslinging and there is a concerted effort to silence the conservative voice. Three groups have emerged: the establishment, Trump and his followers, and traditional conservatives. These three groups have been in constant struggle and we can't seem to get a one-on-one debate between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. But it's not too late. Later, Detective Jacai Colson, was murdered recently in Prince George's county, Maryland. President Obama and other liberals should take note that trashing the police has consequences. In addition, Donald Trump is not inciting violence, but groups like Black Lives Matter and Moveon.org are. Trump has been a target of violence by the left. Finally Ted Cruz calls in to discuss the upcoming Super Tuesday primary.

3/11/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

When you worked in the Reagan administration or knew Ronald Reagan, you were always thinking about Nancy Reagan. Nancy was always a gracious, kind, warm-hearted person and a magnificent wife to President Reagan. She would do anything to protect her Ronnie, wanted to know who was loyal to him and who wasn’t, and tried to clean up the White House after the Carter’s left. She was mocked for her efforts but was a great woman along with her husband who helped bring the country back. America has never seen anything like the Reagan’s since and may never see anything like them again. After that, Dr. Ben Carson endorsed Donald Trump for president. Carson didn’t give any substantive reason as to why he endorsed Trump and his endorsement is without purpose. Also, Marco Rubio is not running in Ohio to win and is telling voters to vote for John Kasich to stop Trump. Now Rubio and Kasich are giving up on the primary process and want to drag it to a convention. By doing this, Rubio is committing sabotage. If he wants to stop Trump, Ted Cruz is the one Rubio and Kasich supporters should rally around not vice-versa. Finally, Carly Fiorina calls in to talk about her endorsement of the only conservative candidate in the race - Ted Cruz.

There is a notion out there that if you are fed up with the D.C. politicians that Donald Trump is your guy, but Ted Cruz is also a viable candidate. It’s time for Americans to get behind a solid conservative like Ted Cruz who has a consistent record of standing up for conservative values. Americans need to consider who is going to give them a secure border, a conservative supreme court, and cut the size of government. Also, some Trump supporters are acting like Marxists in their attacks to silence public figures and people in the media who speak against Trump. There tactics will only serve one purpose - to elect Hillary Clinton. Later, President Obama wouldn’t give Stephen Harper the more conservative prime minister of Canada the time of day, but now hosts the leftist, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. In addition, Obama has been a horrific president and has caused division among the American people in so many ways. Obama constantly trashes America and hates the Constitution.

Conservatism isn’t about purists and those that claim to be conservatives should know better. If the establishment media is really angry about Donald Trump why don’t they come out and endorse Ted Cruz? They attack conservatives as purists yet who is it that they support? How can conservatives be accused of capitulating on their conservatism by the publications that endorsed big-government Republicans like John McCain and Mitt Romney? Later, climate deniers could be in the cross hairs as liberals in D.C. talk about the possibility of criminalizing opposition to climate change. It is incredible that liberals are going to try and criminalize policy differences and try to force the opposition to adopt their agenda. After that, there is no reason for Marco Rubio to stay in this race. He risks ruining his career as a politician, especially if he loses his home state of Florida. Both Rubio and John Kasich need to put their campaigns to rest.

3/8/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

Round two of Super Tuesday commences with primaries in Idaho, Hawaii, Michigan, and Mississippi. After that, President Obama will not attend former First Lady, Nancy Reagan's funeral. This is a disgrace and Obama has no class whatsoever. In addition, Mitt Romney of the Establishment wants the Republican primary dragged to a brokered convention. The elites are once again trying to impose their will on the American people. Later, Marco Rubio’s campaign is so quick to condemn Ted Cruz and is using the liar mantra again. Ted Cruz had nothing to do with discouraging voters to turn out for Rubio and had his lawyer order a cease and desist order. The Rubio folks think they can pull the same trick as Trump in calling Cruz a liar. He and other candidates using this tactic need to grow up. In addition, health care is a right according to Bernie Sanders. If it’s a right then doctors, nurses and hospitals have to treat it as a right. They will no longer be able to act as free human beings because they have to serve everyone. There is no way to motivate healthcare providers to give excellent care if it is a right for all.

3/7/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

It’s imperative to remember why Nancy Reagan was important. She was a conservative who had a lot of influence on her husband, President Ronald Reagan, who had a great impact on America. John Heubusch, Executive Director of the Ronald Reagan Foundation, and Craig Shirley calls in to give us more insight into the life of Nancy Reagan. Later, illegal immigration is driven by the Democrat Party, corporatists, and big labor and it benefits everyone except the American people. Currently, there are over 60 million immigrants in America now and nearly 16 million of them are here illegally. The claim is they do jobs that Americans won’t do, but that is a ridiculous argument. This needs to stop as America can’t handle wave after overwhelming wave of immigration. Also, Donald Trump promised to put an end to the corrupt immigration system but now is flip flopping on the H1B visa issue. If this is the issue he is running on, then he needs to stick to it. Ted Cruz used to support expanding the H1B visa program, but realized it was being abused and reversed his position. At least he has changed in a positive direction and is consistent with his message. Finally Sen Ted Cruz calls in to talk about his presidential race and how Republicans are uniting behind his campaign.

3/4/16 - Mark Levin Audio Rewind

CPAC was created to support Ronald Reagan’s nomination and build conservatism. The conservative movement has saved America in the past and now we are on the precipice of the conservative movement doing it again. Reagan didn’t spend decades spreading conservatism so he could show that he could make a deal, he wanted to advance a liberty agenda. There was no confusion about where he stood one day to another. Also, it’s obvious Donald Trump is changing his position on H1B visas, now in favor of them, because he is lurching left. Why did he switch his position when the evidence demonstrates that his original position was correct – it will decimate American workers. Finally, Steve Deace calls in to discuss his new book, A Nefarious Plot.

Mitt Romney has come out against Donald Trump and yet doesn’t endorse any of the other candidates. He is trying to suppress the Trump and Ted Cruz vote to get the process to a brokered convention. Americans should remember that Romney already had his heyday in 2012 when he missed his opportunity to make a strong showing against President Obama. He never gave a speech to Obama like he just did to Trump. What makes him think that America will want him now? If Romney and the Establishment succeed in getting the primary process to a brokered convention than the whole process will have been for nothing. In addition, at Thursday nights debate it’s Rubio, Trump, Cruz, Kasich and the moderators, that’s seven debaters in total. The moderators should ask some questions about what type of Supreme Court justice the candidates would nominate or how they would deal with the massive debt and not feed petty attacks.
