On Wednesday's Mark Levin show, Michelle Fields is the latest victim of the smear machine and Trump surrogates in the media. You would expect this kind of attack and war room activity from the Clinton machine and not the new and supposedly conservative media. Then we are told that these people are like the Reagan crowd, but they are not. Neither Ronald nor Nancy Reagan would have put up with this. The conservative Trump surrogates need to stop making fools of themselves by attacking Fields and the Jupiter police. Later, abortion is a substantive issue and Donald Trump should have a dug in position on it by now. The vast majority of pro-life people believe that the abortion provider should be punished and not the mother. This has been a pro-life belief for decades and Trump should be familiar with it. Ronald Reagan could state thoughtfully and articulately what his positions were on every issue. To compare Trump to Reagan is wrong. Finally, elections are just an interlude for the left which must always drive its agenda. If Hillary Clinton wins the presidency she will just continue to drive a hard left agenda that packs the courts with liberal judges and empowers Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

On Tuesday's Mark Levin show, now we are supposed to be against reporter Michelle Fields, and believe that the Jupiter police in Florida are out to get Donald Trump. Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, grabbed Fields and violently yanked her back on March 8. It is obvious that the police thought there were enough grounds to charge Lewandowski with a misdemeanor. However, instead of Fields being the victim, we are led to believe that Trump and his campaign manager are the victims. Clearly, the Secret Service didn’t feel that Fields was a threat, but Lewandowski had to jump in there to stop her from asking Trump any questions. This behavior on Lewandowski’s part is indefensible. Later, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin endorses Ted Cruz for president Tuesday. Walker is one of the best governors in America and has credentials in creating jobs and controlling public sector spending.

On Monday’s Mark Levin show, a suicide bomber took the lives of over 70 victims in Pakistan over the weekend, yet President Obama continues to lecture Americans on being tolerant. How many more airports, government buildings, subways, military bases and playgrounds need to be blown up before Obama takes action against Islamic terrorism and ISIS? The U.S. military is now less ready than ever to fight a large scale overseas conflict. The Russians, Chinese and Islamic terrorists love Obama and his administration, because they have done more to destroy the U.S. military than any outside force has. Later, HUD is now forcing Baltimore County to provide affordable housing. This is not about equal access to opportunity, but is about iron fisted social engineering. Affordable housing is a low level Maoist policy. After Mao Zedong took control of China, he sent people out of the cities to live in the more agricultural areas, but this Communist policy failed. Finally, Donald Trump’s negatives are the highest of any presidential candidate even Hillary Clinton. Hillary should be beaten easily, but Trump with his high unpopularity will not be able to do this. It’s not enough to win a general election by winning 37% of the Republican primary voters.

On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, the National Enquirer has put out a hit on Ted Cruz, implying that he has had extramarital affairs with 5 women. It’s not a coincidence that Cruz had to defend his wife and now this happens. Somebody tried to push this story with Buzz Feed, Politico and the New York Times, but they all passed on it, so why did National Enquirer take it? One thing we know is that the CEO of National Enquirer, David Pecker is close friends with Donald Trump. It is odd that National Enquirer has attacked Trump rivals such as Ben Carson and Marco Rubio, yet has not gone after Trump. There is only one candidate who can save this Republic and that is Ted Cruz. John Kasich is out to sabotage the race and Trump is acting like a leader of a banana republic with his tweets. Conservatives need to be careful and not hand this election to Hillary Clinton by encouraging these antics. Finally, what we lack is proper civilian leadership to deal with ISIS and terrorism. America needs a leader like Pres. Reagan who will not negotiate with these terrorists, but offer a firm ultimatum.

On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, police in France have foiled an advanced terror plot after a search in a suburban neighborhood. Catching terrorists is a very difficult task and tough national security work. If the world used its resources together with a strong U.S. leader, then we could do serious damage to ISIS. Instead, ISIS is taking WWIII to us, and President Obama is disengaged from what is happening while tangoing in Argentina. Unfortunately, it seems that none of our leaders have the will to confront ISIS. While we should be focusing on WWIII, the big story is about Donald Trump’s wife and the wife of Ted Cruz. The Cruz campaign has no connection with the Super PAC that put out the ad attacking Melania Trump, and it is illegal for them to even be in contact. In addition, Ted Cruz never tweeted against or attacked Trump’s wife, but now Trump has used Twitter to attack Heidi Cruz. How do you expect to gain more delegates while attacking another candidate’s wife? It’s time for the frontrunner to start acting like a frontrunner, be presidential and unite the forces behind him. Finally, who is Obama to tell us what works and what doesn’t when it comes to capitalism? Free market capitalism is what created the vast middle class in this country, not socialism nor tariffs. What Obama is promoting is the opposite of capitalism and wealth creation.

On Wednesday's Mark Levin show, our heritage is the American Revolution which promoted liberty and unalienable rights. There is a new American Revolution underway by constitutional conservatives to restore the Republic’s liberty and the principles upon which our nation was founded. Currently, this election is shaping up to be a lost opportunity. It has been hijacked by people who are projecting their own personal motives and ideas on what they think America should be. Substituting one autocracy for another is not going to bring our country back. America needs a leader who can stand for and articulate conservative principles. Later, Ted Cruz has come under withering assault for wanting law enforcement to patrol Muslim neighborhoods. This is not the tyrannical despotism that Pres. Obama claims Cruz’s father fled from, but community policing. Police need every tool available to prevent terrorists from harming us and need to be able to police their communities in a way that effectively fights Islamic terrorism. Finally, wouldn’t it be nice to know how many people have been granted green cards in the last 24 months? Unfortunately, that is not possible, because the Obama Administration has been stonewalling Congress and has failed to release current immigration data since 2013.

Over 30 people were killed in a terror attack in Belgium earlier Monday. It is apparent that we have to fight wars differently, instead of adopting policies that empower the enemy. Europe has surrendered and is a tired, mass welfare state. In Europe they have open borders, the law enforcement has their hands tied behind their back, and their military is weak. Unfortunately, America is headed in the same direction. What America needs is to embark on a crusade for liberty. Also, instead of going to a ballgame in Cuba, President Obama needs to come home to deal with the ISIS threat. He helped to create ISIS and has blood on his hands. After that, the media is now accusing Ted Cruz of being anti-democratic for wanting to beef up surveillance of Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. The media is wrong and Cruz is right for saying that America needs to know what the threat is and where it is coming from. He has a firm grasp on what the country needs to be doing to combat terrorists and ISIS.

Even Donald Trump doesn’t believe what he is saying went it comes to massive tariffs on foreign goods. Even he invests overseas and had his own line of clothing outside of the country. In addition, we can’t prevent international trade and commerce if we wanted to. Fascist and communist societies have tried and it hasn’t worked so far. All protectionism and massive tariffs do is destroy wealth creation, investment, and US jobs. Also, it’s not Japan, China, or Mexico that is killing us but the EPA which has been killing our smokestack industries. The truth is that big government, including the EPA, has done more to destroy the U.S. economy than China, Japan, and Mexico combined. Later, President Obama wants to have a frank conversation with the dictators who created the situation in Cuba. However, he should really be talking to the Cuban people who are continually oppressed and live in the iron-fisted police state. In the end, it is the people of Cuba who will continue to suffer under the Castro regime. What Cuba needs is a free market system without the tyrannical Castro brothers in charge.

The Republican Establishment could be in deep trouble and is responsible for creating this convention quagmire. If a candidate doesn’t get 1,237 delegates after the first ballot, then the vote goes to the floor. The rules have been in place since the beginning of the Republican Party in the 1850’S. The only exception was when Mitt Romney changed rule 40 which was done to shut conservatives out of challenging Romney’s second term, should he have won the presidency. Romney is voting for Ted Cruz in Utah but he isn’t endorsing Cruz, he’s pushing for an open convention to deny anyone the nomination. The RNC rules are a mess and Romney and his establishment pals are to blame for changing the rule in 2012. Also, Donald Trump needs to take on Ted Cruz in a one on one debate. We have heard enough of his political tweets and want to hear something substantial. In addition, where was Trump during the rise of the Tea Party? He was not around then and all of a sudden he is a genius that has evolved in 18 months. Later, John Kasich likes to give Americans the impression that he is a regular guy. However, Americans should be concerned about his trigger temper and that he has no mathematical path to the Republican nomination.

We already had a populist movement in the 1890’s that was the foundation of progressivism in the United States. This movement produced massive tariffs which lead to the destruction of the farming industry and ultimately helped bring about the Great Depression through the Smoot Hawley tariff. Progressives and populists harangue against trade and demand more power for the government. They both share the same seed of tyranny. They claim to empower the people, but only empower centralized government, and have abandoned free market capitalism and the Constitution. Constitutional conservatives are caught in between the Establishment and the progressive populists and have no place in the Republican Whig Party or the progressive populist movement. Conservatives need to realize that the only way out of this abyss is to embrace constitutional conservatism which embraces liberty. And that is the contrast between Donald Trump’s populism and Ted Cruz’s conservatism.
