A Guest Post with A.M. Hartnett

I'm beyond busy right now, so A.M. Hartnett has kindly offered up a guest post to entertain you.  Thanks, Annemarie!

A Guest Post with A.M. Hartnett
I admit it: the reason this story exists is because I wanted to write a story about two people having sex in a boat house.
No, really.
There were things in the story that changed, like the characters being boss/secretary instead of merely co-workers, but the sex in the boathouse was never off the table. It's the scene that started the story, and while I knew I wanted to do it I had no idea how it would pan out. I figured things would end up pretty vanilla. I didn't think there would be ball gags and hog-tieing.
Shows what I know.
Excerpt:
She left her shoes on the floating dock and shimmied out of her dress. Mask in hand, she climbed into what was to be her chariot for the night.
The seat was cool under her bare ass, such a contrast to the liquid heat filling up every other part of her. She eased back and parted her legs. As she waited, she relived Kendrick’s mouth sucking and licking her.
Eyes closed, she tilted her head back and ran her middle finger around and around. She didn’t play with her clit. That was for Kendrick. She just teased herself by stroking the swollen hood.
After a few moments, she opened her eyes and lifted her head.
A queer feeling buzzed around her, as though she wasn’t the only one waiting.
He was watching her.
She didn’t try to seek him out. Instead, her self-indulgence turned into a show.
Alexis propped her foot up on the edge of the seat and reached lower. She crooked her fingers into her pussy and the scene in her head flashed to Kendrick doing the same to her, fingers flexing as she sucked him.
Still, he didn’t appear. She blew out a frustrated breath and craned her neck, checking every window for signs of him.
Then her gaze fell upon the mask on the seat next to her.
Ah.
She perched on the edge of the seat as she affixed the mask. The straps clasped behind her head, letting her pull the mask tight against her eyes. When she had done that, she resumed her pose, fingertips once more teasing herself.
Scarcely a minute later, the sound of the water lapping beneath the boat was broken by the creak of the door opening and then bare feet slapping against the wharf.
Blurb:When Alexis booked her work retreat at The Deveaux, the most she had to look forward to was a bit of spa time on the company dime, but flashy salesman Chris Kendrick has an even better suggestion. For years they’ve had a hot and cold working relationship with a bit of flirting mixed in, and now is the perfect time to get that spark out of their systems.
Three days hopping in and out of beds (and other convenient places) shows Alexis that Kendrick’s smooth demeanour is more than just talk, and that aromatherapy and soft-tissue massages have nothing on Kendrick’s firm hand.

Secrets of the Solstice Sacrifice

One of my faves, re-released:

Secrets of the Solstice Sacrificeby Giselle Renarde

Professor Selyf is a fay magical, a solitary academic who lives in a mythical village on a Welsh hillside. When a knock at the door interrupts him from his manuscript, beautiful Trysta awakens Selyf's heart… and the sleeping serpent within.

Trysta has a "female problem" that only Selyf’s fairy magic can cure: she was born a girl, but a girl with one particular male part. As a guest in the magical man’s home, Trysta’s growing attraction turns into desire. How can she resist temptation?  Particularly when Selyf determines the only way to transform Trysta's body involves a sexual sacrifice on the solstice…

Warnings: This fairy love story contains explicit romance, magical transformation, and MFM menage. Originally published in the anthology “My Mistress’ Thighs.”

Excerpt:

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she ensnared him in a kiss the likes of which he’d never imagined. He felt her veiled passion coursing through his veins as his mouth melded with hers.
Their tongues fought and surged, one against the other. His whole body was so rapt with hers he could hardly breathe. As they kissed, he ran intrepid fingers through her silken hair and down her back. In turn, she held his cheeks and his neck, his back and his sides. When he grasped the firm flesh of her buttocks, Trysta wheezed and broke free.
The look in her eyes was indiscernible but for the temptation it aroused. He almost apologized for being so dreadfully forward before realizing it was she who’d kissed him.
Grabbing her wrists, he pulled her into his arms and carried forth the sweet embrace she’d abandoned. After a moment of brave indecision, she gave in to the kiss and melted in Selyf’s arms. His tongue wrangled hers until she broke away once more.
Pressing her soft lips to his ear, she whispered, “I’ve never felt like this before.”
“Neither have I,” he admitted. “You’ve aroused in me the sleeping serpent.”
At that turn of phrase, her body grew limp in his arms.
“Yes,” she said. “I know only too well what you mean.”

Holiday Romance Box Set *Special Introductory Price*

I'm not going to beat around the bush. (heh)  You need to buy my new multicultural Christmas/New Years box set at All Romance RIGHT NOW!  Because, right now, this week only, my Holiday Romance Box Set is on sale for $0.99!

$0.99 for 3 holiday novellas. Ridiculous!

Holiday Romance Box Set: 3 Multicultural Erotic NovellasWhat's in the box?
Heat up those cold winter nights with three holiday-themed erotic romance novellas featuring a diverse range of characters!

“A Mistress’ Christmas” is a strange, dreamy trip through a young woman’s gift to her lover. She wants to give him everything, but where would he put it? Sometimes the best place to hide a secret is in plain sight.

In “All The Way,” one lucky girl spends Christmas with two sexy guys. When Josie invites her high school boyfriend Kaz to stay with her family over the holidays, there are a few things she doesn't anticipate: Kaz admitting he's still a virgin after all these years? That's a weird surprise. Her husband Rob's attempt to give Kaz a little training in the hot tub? A weird and very sexy surprise. But after the married couple treats him to some of the best nights of his life, who will Kaz fall for?

“Out of the Cold” finds geeky Amira is desperate for fun. When she meets Keith at a first aid course, she sneaks a peek at his registration form to get his email address. After exchanging some very naughty notes, they plan a get-together on New Year's Eve… but the man she meets up with isn’t Keith at all! Will Amira ring in the New Year with her online romance, or will she be left out in the cold?

Warning: The Holiday Romance Box Set contains multicultural MMF menage, winter fantasies, saucy emails, happy marriages, hapless homewreckers, and explicit scenes of geek love.

Excerpt:“Are you sure we met at the wedding?” Rob asked. “Most of our friends aren’t so cool. I’m sure I would have remembered you.”

Josie could have laughed out loud. Rob had a man-crush!

“Trust me, I was not very memorable back then,” Kaz replied. “Just your run-of-the-mill computer nerd. I still am, at heart. My old girlfriend just fixed up the package.”

“I bet she did,” Rob chuckled, with a furtive glance in Froggy’s direction.

Kaz offered a forced smile. “Right, well, she made me more to her liking, so I wouldn’t embarrass her around her friends.”

“That’s kind of funny,” Josie cut in. “Well, not funny, but you know what I mean. Because that’s the exact opposite of what you did for me. You helped me find my inner girl geek and be proud of her.”

Just as Josie was beginning to feel sublimely cozy, Froggy looked up at her and said, “I’m hungry.”

“Oh, that’s right. We haven’t eaten dinner,” she said, suppressing that mean little voice scolding, For shame! Must your son remind you to feed him?

With their newfound discovery of each other’s penchant for cooking, Rob and Kaz went nuts with dinner ideas. After digging through cupboards and flipping through cookbooks, they reached the consensus that, even if they had all the right ingredients, it was already too late to start preparing a nice coq-au-vin. The pair of tongue-teasers got Josie’s taste buds all riled up for haute cuisine, but ultimately gave up and ordered pizza.

After story time with Mommy, Daddy, and their new best friend Kaz, Froggy was out like a light and Josie could finally really decompress. As much as she’d enjoyed playing in the snow and catching up with an old friend, she really felt like she needed some alone-time with her hubby. He so often went without when she worked those extra hours.

A surge of joy ran through her at the thought of a few days off.

“On holiday—finally!” She hugged Rob around the neck as he bent to stack the dishwasher. “Hey, what would you say to opening up the hot tub and going for a soak?”

“That sounds great!” Kaz replied, patting them both on the shoulders. “I didn’t bring a bathing suit or anything but, hey, we’re all grown-ups, right?”

If you wrote #trans fiction in 2013, READ THIS POST!

The Red Satin Collection isn't eligibleI make terrible choices.

My most recent terrible choice?  On a whim, I decided to self-(re)publish my Rainbow Award-winning trans lesbian holiday romance, The Red Satin Collection.  We're talking just last week.  The print version hasn't even popped up on Amazon yet.

And then today I see this incredible opportunity for authors of transgender fiction:

http://topsidepress.tumblr.com/post/66119097357/enormous-opportunity-for-trans-authors-and-authors-of

I'll quote a little from the post:

In the final weeks of the submission period for the Lambda Literary Awards, it looks like again this year, there will be just one transgender category (“Transgender Literature”) instead of 2 (fiction and non-fiction). This is because if one of the 2 categories receives fewer than 10 entries, the Lambda folks will collapse them into a single category and a single prize.
[...]
If you’re an author who has published a book in 2013 that might fit into the transgender fiction category, you have until December 1 to submit! In the past, entries in this field have been novels, books of short stories, poetry, graphic novels/comic books, young adult books and children’s books—it’s a very flexible category, and it is up to the submitter to “opt-in” to it.

You can (and should) read more by following link up there, but here's what I'm talking about when I say I make terrible decisions:

In order to qualify for the Lambda Literary Awards, your book can't be self-published.  You also have to submit 5 copies of your book in print as well as a $40 submission fee, none of which I can afford anyway, but I'm just kicking my ass right now because The Red Satin Collection is damn good.  It's an award-winning book and was previously published by loveyoudivine, but ever since they went out of business I've just been sitting on it.  Since it's a Christmas romance and it's currently November, I thought, "Hey, why don't I get it back on the market myself... right now?"

So that's what I did.

Great idea, Giselle.  You're full of those. (full of somethin'...)

Maybe you're wiser than I am.  Maybe you published your trans book through an actual publisher and you qualify for entry into the 2013 Lambda Literary Awards.  If you're smarter than I am, I advise that you act fast: http://topsidepress.tumblr.com/post/66119097357/enormous-opportunity-for-trans-authors-and-authors-of

I wish I were smart. Like you.

*sighs*
Giselle

...and if you want to check out my ineligible book, it's currently available at Amazon as an ebook, it'll be available in print in time for the holidays, so do check it out and enjoy and tell your friends and all that. Trans lesbian romances don't exactly sell themselves. (I should know--I've written about a million)

Better Than Baseball: It's the Bedded Bliss Blog Tour

So, marital bliss (or marital anything, for that matter) is about as far out of my realm as... I don't know... I'm trying to think of a topic I know nothing about.  I have a lot of random knowledge about useless topics, but marriage is just way out in left field.

Oh, baseball!  That's something I know nothing about.  My mom and my sisters are always trying to get me to come to Jays games with them, but I'd rather spend that time re-grouting my shower, thank you very much. Am I the only one who thinks baseball is ridiculously boring?

Anyway, after that controversial introduction, here's the new book put together by KristinaWright: Bedded Bliss is full of romantic stories for monogamous couples.  If you're starting to think about married sex the way I think of baseball, I suspect this book is for you:

Groundbreaking Guide to Red-Hot Monogamy from Wife and Mother Kristina WrightIt’s fairly easy to fall in love (or lust), but keeping that passion hot and heavy after twenty years of marriage can get tricky. Kristina Wright has two toddlers and a red-hot marriage, and there’s no one better suited to helping other couples make lust last. Bedded Bliss: A Couple’s Guide to Lust Ever After pairs hands-on advice for long-term lovers with steamy tales to inspire couples to enact their own erotic adventures. Each chapter begins with “sensual suggestions” for keeping in touch—literally! Read real advice and stories from couples, who have a combined total of a whopping 235 years of long-term relationship experience, and find out what works for them to keep their fires burning steady and hot.  Romance writer and editor Wright re-invents the sexuality genre, presenting a guide that simultaneously educates and entertains. Bedded Bliss is a treasure trove of resources for couples to ensure that monogamy will never again mean monotony.
Hey look! An excerpt:
Erotic Fiction
Made To Last
Anya Richards

The year from Hell stretched to two, and everything that could go wrong did. For my husband and me sex wasn't the answer, but it sure went a long way toward helping us reconnect, remember what’s important and release some of the pent-up stress. With a reaffirmation of the bonds we share, we were once more ready to face the world, together.

It’s one o’clock in the morning, and I’m wide-awake. This isn't anything new, unfortunately. Recently sleep has become an elusive, craved and yet frightening concept. It sometimes provides relief, sometimes makes things worse, as problems follow me into dreamland and continue their unrelenting torture.

Beside me, my husband sighs and rolls onto his side. From the tenor of his breathing I know he’s dead to the world, and annoyance flashes through me. How can he sleep so soundly, night after night, while I lie awake, my brain unable to shutdown long enough for me to nod off?

But I know I’m not alone with my fears. All the signs of stress are there in him too. Just this evening I looked across the living room and caught him staring out the window, eyes unfocused, fingers tapping a sharp, staccato rhythm on the arm of his chair. He’s usually calm, almost serene, just the type of man a high-voltage woman like me needs. He’s my anchor, the voice of reason when I’m tempted to go off the deep end. It hurts to see him obviously restless, with worry etching new lines into his beloved, beautiful face.

Staring up into the darkness, I start cataloging our problems, the relentless cycle starting anew. Instantly the muscles in my neck tighten and my stomach knots. I try to think of something else— concentrate on the plot of my latest book—but within minutes I've somehow circled back to reality. Sometimes I think I’d feel better if I could just cry, let it out, but that’s not my way. Tears have always been something to avoid, repress, fight. They’re a weakness I can’t allow myself. If I start I might not be able to stop, and that thought scares me more than any other. For me, that heralds the onset of madness.

As though sensing my terror, my husband moves closer, his arm settling across my stomach. That simple touch, the sensation of his warmth so close, brings a sob close to the surface and I’m forced to swallow it down. I don’t feel as though I deserve his affection right now. I have a sneaky suspicion the blame for our current problems rests squarely on my shoulders. Yet, it feels so good having him beside me. Instead of moving away I roll onto my side, facing away from him,and spoon closer.

FREE This Week: Spring Fever (a perfectly acceptable, not at all "obscene" story)

Friday, I told you Kobo had mysteriously "declined" four of my transgender romance shorts. (here's the link, if you missed it: http://donutsdesires.blogspot.ca/2013/11/kobo-declines-4-transgender-romance.html

In response, I'm making my fiction involving trans and gender non-conforming characters even more accessible than ever.

This week, November 11-15, I'm offering SPRING FEVER absolutely free at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GKOICR8

Spring Fever by Giselle Renarde
Dotschy doesn't even want to think about love everlasting.

When spring comes around and she can't stop smiling at Connor the sweet and sensitive semi-closet trans-curious sometimes-crossdresser, she convinces herself it's just infatuation. But that doesn't stop her from wanting him.

When Connor puts on a skirt and heels to take Dotschy out on the town, can she set aside her fear of love and give in to spring fever?

This cross-dressing romance contains true love and explicit language. Previously published in the anthologies “Girls on Top” and “My Mistress’ Thighs.”

Word Count: 6,800

Excerpt:

Connor stood before me in a light pink sweater with pearly plastic buttons. It was the type of sweater a mommy picks out for her little girl. That’s the spirit in which Connor dressed himself.

His skirt was a more mature grey, slit in the back and just covering his knees. Did he shave his legs? I couldn’t tell, through the pantyhose. His shoes matched his sweater. His nails matched his sweater. Connor pulled off the look beautifully. He looked almost elegant in his black Kiss of the Spider Woman wig. His boobs were full and pendulous, but he had a natural paunch to match.

Despite his height, he didn’t look curiously tall. He looked perfect, actually. His glasses were the same pair he wore as a man. They suited him both ways.

Soft. That was Connor dressed as a woman. He was soft. Soft pinks, soft body, soft curves. I ran my hand across his cheek. That was soft, too. No trace of stubble.

Before I’d arrived at his house, I wondered if I’d be attracted to Connor dressed as a woman. I was. Even more than I was attracted to Connor dressed as a man.

“You look beautiful.” I kissed his smooth cheek, lingering close. Those sparkling blue eyes were Connor. The clothes were different, but the person was the same. I would easily have made out with him, and not just to see if passers-by would throw stuff at us.

“You look fabulous, dear,” he said. His voice lilted, neither high nor low.

“Fabulous?” I chuckled. “You’re a woman, you’re not gay! Try ‘lovely’ or ‘gorgeous.’”

“A woman can say ‘fabulous.’ Anyone can.” Connor leaned close to my ear and whispered, “Dotschy, you’re gorgeous.”

My knees nearly gave out.

Kobo "Declines" 4 Transgender Romance Ebooks

Remember how much I LOVE Kobo?

Wait, that's not right...

Let's start again: Remember the other week when Kobo had a hissy fit and blamed self-published authors for all the world's evils?  And removed ALL self-published books from their shelves?

Well guess what they've done now?  Okay, you probably don't have to guess since I wrote it in the heading of this blog post.  When I logged into my account just now I found that they'd "declined" four of my transgender romance titles.

I am motherflipping baffled by this. Baffled.

Three of these ebooks (Secrets and Guys, Eclipse the Stars, and Everybody Knows) are love stories with minor erotic content.  The fourth, "A Wolf in Grandmother's Clothing" is actually a cross-dressing story with no sex in it at all!

As you can see, these book titles are not racy.  They're certainly not "Fucking My Mutant Grandmother" (no judgement if you've written a story with that title--God knows I've written taboo erotica, but this ain't it, son!)  So I don't get it.  What the fuck is Kobo's problem with my damn books?

Excellent question.

Here's the answer:

Action requiredThis book has not been published because the following elements are unacceptable by Kobo's publishing standards:
TitleDescription
Thanks, Kobo. That's super-helpful.

Let's take Eclipse the Stars as an example.  The title is "Eclipse the Stars."  If that's problematic, god help us all.  Here's the description:

Jody used to be the star of the show. Now that her transgender girlfriend’s making heads turn, can she set jealousy aside to give Renata the love and commitment she deserves?

Blurb:

Jody and Renata have been a couple since the start of Renata's transition from male to female.  So much has changed in that time.  Jody used to be the beautiful, successful actress, and Renata the mousy, insecure, eternally-upstaged girlfriend.  Ever since Renata's surgery, she's gained confidence, stopped worrying about passing, and blossomed into an incredibly vibrant woman.  Now Renata's gaining all the attention while Jody's getting less acting work and worrying about fading looks.  Can Jody set her jealousy aside to give Renata the love and commitment she deserves?

Warnings: This transgender lesbian love story contains a jealous girlfriend, a less-than-wild night out, and explicit bedroom romance.

Word Count: 5,000

Excerpt:

The old ladies were already at the table, but they leaped from their seats to welcome…

“Renata!”

“Oh, Renata, don’t you look lovely!”

Hugs all around, hugs for Renata, wonderful Renata…

“What a smashing outfit.  You always look so well put-together.”

“Yes, such a wonderful sense of style.  You’ll have to take me shopping some time.”

Jody silently slipped Renata’s jacket from her shoulders, earning a nasty look from the waitress after nearly elbowing the woman in the chest.  Jody walked almost all the way to the front of the restaurant to hang up their coats.  When she got back to the table, she realized there wasn’t a place set for her.  Renata was already deep in conversation by then, and when Jody tapped her shoulder, one of the elderly women said, “I think you’ll have to give us a few more minutes.”

“No, I’m…”  They’d had dinner together at least six times over the past few years.  Granted, the ‘old ladies’ were more Renata’s friends than Jody’s—an offshoot of one of the first women’s groups Renata joined when she began her transition—but still…shouldn’t they remember? “I’m Jody.”

The women looked up at her, all of them now, all eyes on Jody.  Clearly, they didn’t know who she was.

“I’m Renata’s…partner?”  Jody felt like she was outing herself all over again.

The silver heads started to nod, and smiles crept across the ladies’ lips.  “Oh, of course!  Julie!”

Kobo does provide a link to content guidelines. It leads to a 40-page document.  Here's the only portion that's applicable to content guidelines:

Content RestrictionsAll Kobo vendors must adhere to our content guidelines when distributing eBooks using Kobo Writing Life. Kobo reserves the right to remove eBooks that contain the following: • Pornographic, paedophilic, or obscene content. This includes: incest, bestiality, exploitation, sexual violence or force.• Child pornography • Hateful content: users may not publish material that promotes hate toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.• Violent content: Users may not publish direct threats of violence against any person or group of people. Users may not publish instructional material regarding the creation of weapons.

FFS, Kobo and Amazon are as bad as each other! The difference, in this instant, is that Amazon published two of these four ebooks without issue.  The other two I have yet to upload there. But you can buy Secrets and Guys and Everybody Knows at Amazon right now. See?

So what's your problem, Kobo?

You know what? I don't even care.  You bring me so few sales that I'm not even going to bother trying to figure out your mystical system. Be all cloak and dagger about why you've "declined" my transgender romances.

Meanwhile, my "Transgender and Genderqueer Erotic Romance" series is available at Amazon, All Romance Ebooks, Smashwords, and Coffee Time Romance.  Readers searching for fiction that celebrates trans and genderqueer folks as whole and human, with rich loves and lives, can find my series at any of those retailers.

Giselle out.

Toronto's Truth May Be Stranger Than Fiction, but the Fiction's Pretty Good Too!

Being Canadian, I don't tend to watch a lot of American news, so I hadn't realized how pervasive word about Toronto's mayor has become in the international media... until I tuned into an episode of The Soup.  That's not even a real news show and, Holy Smokes, the amount of footage time devoted to our crack-smoking fuckwad of a mayor blew me away.

Canadians tend to have a humble sense of self-worth, so our ears always perk up when we hear our names mentioned, no matter the context.

In case you haven't heard about the insanity of Toronto municipal politics, there have been rumours circulating for ages that a video exists featuring our mayor, Rob Ford, smoking crack. He said it ain't so, lashing out at journalists and anyone else who questioned his honesty.  Well, turns out the video exists. Police got their hands on it.  So now the mayor's like... oh yeah, well turns out I did smoke crack.  Musta been in one of my drunken stupors. (Yup.)

We can't oust this guy.  Oh my god, I wish we could. Rob Ford is toxic.

And it's not just crack-smoking and multiple instances of public drunkeness. And hanging out with notorious criminals and thugs.  And lying.  About everything.

My primary concern about this guy is that he's blatantly racist and homophobic.  Toronto is a proudly queer-friendly city, not to mention one of the most multicultural and diverse centres in the entire world.  I was baffled when he was elected, because it's not like he put on some sleek veneer while campaigning and only showed his true colours after coming into office.

During his campaign, Rob Ford stated that women get AIDS by sleeping with bisexual men and, also:

"Those Orientals work like dogs."
I can't even... I just... I'm at a loss. Honestly.

So, while this insanity at City Hall is ongoing, why don't I tell you a bit about a Toronto-based novel I wrote years before the crack-smoking mayor came into office?

ANONYMOUS is a book about a woman who hires a male prostitute to satisfy a long-standing fantasy she and her husband share.  (He's one of those bisexual men giving women AIDS, apparently, according to our mayor.)

After a night of wild hotel sex, Hannah finds herself obsessing over the anonymous stranger.  She doesn't know who he is.  All she knows is the address of the company where she hired her man.

So, every lunch hour, Hannah races from her workplace, following this route to the building on Church Street (Toronto's Gay Village) on the off chance that she catches up with the sexy stranger:

Don't you love how I had to Google "how to screenshot" to figure out how to do this?

If you're looking for Toronto fiction with a heavy helping of smouldering sex, grab a copy of ANONYMOUS by Giselle Renarde (the girl who can never remember how to take a screenshot) in print or as an ebook.  It's published by Amber Heat: http://www.amberquill.com/AmberHeat/Anonymous.html

And if you've written or read a great book set in Toronto, I want to hear about it!  I recently bought Lauren B. Davis' "The Stubborn Season" which is set in depression-era Toronto, but I haven't started it yet.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Giselle from Toronto

Watch Me Read The Big Book of Orgasms

The Big Book of OrgasmsThe Big Book of Orgasms blog tour has found its way to Donuts and Desires.
The Big Book of Orgasms is a collection of 69 Sexy Stories, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel and published by Cleis Press.

I've got a copy of the anthology sitting right beside me because I'm a contributor to the book, so here's what I'm going to do: choose a story at random and live-blog review it... right before your eyes!  This is probably the worst way in the world to review fiction, but at least it's original.

So, let's flip through this book and choose a story:

Chains of Love by Lily K. Cho
That's the story I'll be reading.  Starting... NOW!

Ooh, second-person present tense.  I like it already.  Love the idea of a pretty girl telling me what she's going to do to me, and at the start of this tale, she's dressing for me, in thigh-high hose and red lingerie.  Whoa.  How did she know?  I melt for thigh-high hose and red lingerie.

She's describing every movement, every interaction of her lingerie and her skin.  And she's putting on a collar and chain.  Oh god...

The writing is sensual, expert, and alluring.  This isn't amateur hour.  This is the real deal.

Finally, "I" arrive on the scene, finding this collared girl waiting for me.  Wow, I'm impressed.  I can't wait to find out what she's going to do next.  And what "I" will do, too.

It just gets better, people.  Impressive use of language to coyly string the reader along, and I'm excited to read about "my" erection.  I wasn't sure whether "I" would have one of those, but I kind of hoped "I" would.  It's a great fantasy for a queer girl like me.  I love the image of putting my rigid cock in this pretty girl's mouth.

Wait a sec... "My cock is painfully hard..."

My girl has a cock.  Or my girl is a guy.  I'm going to picture her as a pretty girl with a throbbing erection--not much of a stretch for me, since my girlfriend happens to be trans.

Oh, it just gets better.  My god, I can hardly breathe as I read this story.  My throat has gone dry, but I won't let myself up for water until I finish.  Oh, there's a lot of fucking going on right now.  And orgasms.  Well, it is called The Big Book of Orgasms, after all.

What an oddly apt story for me to have chosen at random.  It was perfect for me.  Spooky.

And there are 68 more stories in this anthology, so I'm sure you'll find one that's perfect for you.

AND as I close the book and take another look, I realize I've been picturing the woman on the cover as the pretty girl in my story.  That's funny.  The power of suggestion...

Third Rail: Is it strange to have a boyfriend and a girlfriend… in the same body?

Remember this one?  It's an oldie-but-goodie.

If Third Rail is new to you, GREAT!  You should buy a copy.  It's been off the market for a while, but it's back and better than ever.

Third Railby Giselle Renarde

Is it strange to have a boyfriend and a girlfriend… in the same body?

Blurb:

"When did I become my own rival for your affections?"

Perhaps it is a touch unusual to have a girlfriend and boyfriend both living in the same body, but Kokoro doesn’t classify her relationship with Fiona and Martin as strange.
Kokoro rides the third rail, a dutifully submissive lover to both aspects of her genderqueer partner’s psyche. She goes home with Fiona at night and she leaves the house with Martin the next morning. In between, Kokoro discovers that the dynamics of domination and submission aren’t necessarily rooted in black leather. The emotional interplay, “this game of wills,” as Fiona calls it, is a greater aphrodisiac than toy-shop trappings.
Warnings: This transgender BDSM story contains explicit erotic content, spankings, and shower sex. Originally published in the anthology “My Mistress’ Thighs.”

Excerpt:
“Don’t play this game of wills with me, Koko. You’ll never win.”
Fiona’s eyes blazed as she pinched Kokoro’s nipples. Oh, that delicious sting!  It urged an irrepressible cry from her lips. Only when Fiona released them did Kokoro realize she was standing on tiptoes. It took a breath or two before she came back down to earth.
“Hey, weren’t you supposed to kiss me?” Kokoro asked, leaning into the perfumed crook of her lover’s neck.
Fiona jerked her head away.
Kokoro tried again, tried for that tempting mouth. Every time her lips came close enough to lick, Fiona pulled away with a wicked glint in her eye.
Fiona’s hot breath brought Kokoro higher, deeper, darker into arousal. “You’ve been bad, calling me Fifi. Now you don’t get a kiss.”
“Aw!” Kokoro whined. “Well, if I don’t get a kiss, what do I get?”
Backing up, Fiona dragged a kitchen chair away from the table.  “Come over here. I’ll show you what you get.”
