Hard to Believe...
I was just sitting here thinking and I guess you could say that it just hit me!
I am an author with some great companies: Hellfire Publishing...Decadent Publishing...Damnation Books...I have my self published work: Dark Knight of the Skye...Short Stories of Twisted Tales. Plus my short read on Danielle Steel's beauty site...that has been running for almost two years!
I can honestly say that I never thought this would happen to me. I never finished school, no GED, never went back. Five years ago, I couldn't type, spell, or use proper grammar...which I still have problems with all the above, but this old dog is learning new tricks..LOL. I actually wrote my first book on tablets....I can look back and see and hear people laughing at my saying that I was going to become a write...well, I did. So hard to believe sitting here now.
I thank God first, then all the other amazing people that did believe in me and stood by my side...I love you guy's and I hope I make you all proud! God's Blessing and Great Big Hugs~

Starting up the Author Interview on my website again....Soon!
It has been several months since I have had an author interview and I am starting out with an amazing lady. Not only is she a novelist, she is a publisher, editor, and owner of a Comic company. Keira Kroft author of Glow In The Dark, will be my first guest of 2011. Her new release is coming from Decadent Publishing. I will be posting the day of the interview very soon. We are also giving away a $50.00 Walmart Gift Card with Ms. Kroft's interview. She is better known as Dawn Binkly....the time she has to share you will not want to miss.
The interview will stay posted for entries for 48 hours, and it will be held on a weekend. I will post more information as soon as we have a set date.

What a truly, without a doubt, LAZY day..LOL.
I have had all day to sit here and edit the last 150 pages of 'The Revenge' Book two in the Bloodbreeders series....Have I done anything remotely close...HA! Not even close. If you looked up the cousin to slug, the really slow lazy, droopy one... you would see my photo..LOL.
This has just been one of those days where the grandbabies go home and this old bird drops like a rock. I personal don't drink those 5 hour energy drinks, or ask my Doctor to help me through these blah blah days...cause my guess is she would just tell me to stay in bed, have others wait on me, bring my food in bed, and come to my every need with just the jingle of a bell. That's either what I would want my Doctor to order as my meds of the day, or some wild dream that I've had that's never come true..LOL.
Well, it is almost 2:40. I think I will take a nap until my little 5 week old puppy/quest thinks I need to get up so he can bites on my face...silly thing grabbed hold of my bottom lip and would not let go..LOL. Even better than that, the little fellow reached out as if he was going to give my daughter...the mother of my grandbabies...a kiss and he grab hold of her nose. She was going, "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!" While I was totally cracking up. To be so tiny and born with a hip disorder...he is one hyper little dude. He rode in one of my mom's purses to town yesterday and slept the whole time....

Sharing my new Business Cards
I just wanted to share my very first Pro-Business Cards. My friends over at the Hellfire group, set me up with this place called Vista Print and it can be found at http://www.vistaprint.com/ They have FREE Vista business cards or you can build you own, like I did. I chose to do the front and back so I could add my other company and their link. Hellfire Publishing. When my Bloodbreeders cover comes out, I will make another set of business cards, with Decadent's links on the back....I think having cards made, and doing it without the help of my daughter, has made me pat myself on the back just a wee bit....because we all know how I can goof things up..LOL.I am also working on learning how to format as I write...I know that sounds strange coming from someone who has written 16 full length novels, but I have leaned on my daughters brain every since I began writing five years ago. time for this old dog to learn a few more tricks..LOL.

Just jabbering about my January goals....
Hi all...Just thought I would blog about my goals for the rest of the month...maybe if i say it out loud, I will work harder in getting things done..LOL
Finished one projected, now it's time to keep things rolling. After I go back into ' The Beltane Massacre' and add Kelly, a girl that works for Dr. Gram Simms, town vet and main focus of a not so pleasant coven leader, into an area where...lets just say, all hell breaks loose. I will jump right back into 'Wings and Passion' my novella and my first attempt at writing an erotica based suspense read. Want to have it finished by the 21st???
Even though all of my paranormal romance novels do have sexual contact, it's completely mild to some of the wonderful erotica reads that I have had the pleasure of reading. I want Wings and Passion to be a read that not only is filled with a story line that grips the reader, but to have a sexual relation between the main Heroine and Hero that will place another genre on my list. And yeah, to put me on the map as someone that can write around the sensual and not just the morbid..LOL.
As for the rest of my goals to finish this month...I will be correcting and getting book two in the Bloodbreeders series ready to send to my publisher at Hellfire Publishing. 'The Revenge' says it all, and those of you that have read book one will agree that the main Heroine, Renee Crocker (Lebrun), has every right to take that revenge! So excited about having my baby with Hellfire...I truly hope it makes them just as happy and does well in our long future together!
I signed and sent my contract back to Decadent tonight and made everything official....I am still hanging on a cloud about all of it! I pray I don't let either of them down!!!!
Last thing...I sent my first book in the Short Stories of Twisted Tales to Hellfire Publishing, and am working on a final read and formatting of book two....Vol 2. Then I will send it in. Out of everything that I write, I think I like my short stories the best. I hope to have Vol. 3 done by the end of 2011. It's up to my publisher, but I would love to add an aspiring writers horror story in Vol.3...Would just rock my world if they like them enough to take them....it would actually just be unreal. Someone would have to pinch me real hard..LOL. Either way...over the top proud that they are reading them!!!
