So I had, like, the best pub day ever. First, there were ALL the nice comments people posted here, about how excited they were to read the book. Then, I had a busy morning and a great lunch at my favorite Carrboro sandwich place, Neale's Deli. (Turkey sub, sweet peppers, potato chips=heaven, seriously.) Along for the Ride is OFFICIALLY on sale! (I know, I know, some of you have had it forever, but today is the REAL pub day.) Hooray! I'm doing a lot of running around today before my reading (The Regulator, on Ninth Street, 7pm!) so I probably won't be able to do my normal routine of stalking bookstores and trying to be stealth to see where the book is and how it's doing. Okay, so things are starting to get REALLY busy. Like, the calendar on my phone is smoking it's working so hard busy. I write this at the end of a LOVELY birthday weekend, one full of family and friends and good times. And baked goods. LOTS of baked goods.
