Free Story: Best Christmas Ever
At first, I was too young to understand what was happening. I would be put on the red furry thigh of some old man in a beard and he would ask me if I had been good or bad and what I wanted for Christmas. It was an awkward conversation, particularly since he seemed to know my name and I was too young to talk.
But that was just the first couple of years. After that, this fellow became known around our house as Santa Claus and while I thought that for the most part he smelled of cologne, sweat...

Four Cup Review
A four cup review from Coffee Time Romance & More for Bedknobs & Beanstalks! A nice little bit in there about my story, too. Thanks so much to E.M. Lynley and Ravenous Romance for taking a chance on me and helping me out! Thanks to the other authors that made the book so fantastic!
I won Nano this year, so yay! but I decided about half of what I wrote was bunk so I went back to rewrite some things and then I'll be shopping it out after a good batch of more editing. It is, of course m/m with...

The Clancy Chronicles
So, just to keep in the writing mood sometimes, or just to get things down on paper for fun, I've been writing down some of my goofy stories of a misspent youth. Really not for any real purpose or anything, so I posted them on WeBook. This one is called "The Swingers" and it's about the time my parents used me to cockblock our neighbors. My parents weren't really swingers, but it was the style at the time.

I love Paul Boche
I have many models that I normally write envisioning. With the current story I'm working on for NaNoWriMo, my model of choice is Paul Boche. He perfectly represents my dear sweet Angel in the story, not to mention that he's beautiful. I love his masculine androgyny. This is just a Polaroid of him, but just look at how gorgeous he is.
Also, cheer for me, because I'm 18,000 words in so far!

Of Muse and Men: Patrick Wolf
What this blog needs is some eyecandy, so I'm going to try to remember to share something or someone that inspires me. This one is the beautiful and talented Patrick Wolf–prince of the indie kids.

Picspam at EM Lynley's Cocktoberfest
So the editor of the antho I'm in, EM Lynley, having a Cocktoberfest event and I picspammed today. So head on over to see the sexiness.
There are lots of posts about slash, so it's worth the visit if you have a few minutes to read, including a great Shakespearean ficlet, Slashing Shakespeare: The Seduction of Marcus Brutus by Amy Lane.

Hump day hunks
On Wednesday this week I'll be doing a quick guest spot on E.M. Lynley's blog in celebration of Cocktoberfest. I've wrangled together some hot boytouching pictures for your perusal, arousal, and approval.
As Cocktoberfest is a week-long event, so have a gander at the new hotness and writerly bits at E.M. Lynley's blog. You may thank me later.

Bedknobs and Beanstalks is out!
I was going to post an excerpt here, but it's the part in the free sample pdf, which is very yay! I'm terribly excited and hope you all are too. Thanks for helping me along this trek and encouraging (or discouraging) me when I need it

The Mad Editing
So I'm editing this m/m scifi story that I wrote a few months ago. I really liked/like it, but it was definitely a first draft. Now I have the basics of it and I know where the story is going, I can flesh the world out around the story and how it needs to be.
Where to place this crazy story is a whole other big question mark, but I figure if I have it good and polished, even if the content isn't what the market is looking for, it's something I can be proud of doing and maybe someday it'll see...
