I heart typos
Often I come across as a grammar nazi because of my compulsion to comment on typos or commonly misused words or phrases. The truth is, I'm not trying to rid the world of typos or make people feel stupid. The truth is, I'm highly amused.
My favorite occupation is to read comments or Twitter postings where typos abound as people are in a rush to make their points. Many people, I've noticed, spell by ear (I notice this because that's usually how I attempt to spell)which can be dangerous as...

"Tricky" Now For Sale at Noble Romance
Tricky is now for sale through Noble Romance. It's a modern romance between a male prostitute named Brody who has to deal with how to handle ex-lover John, who after five years of marriage, has sought Brody out to rekindle their affair. Brody has to deal with how John broke his heart and how to reconcile him with the life he's built for himself.
Read an excerpt after the jump.
We were two steps into my professional bedroom when John slammed the door behind us. He flung me against the mirrored c...

Tight Ends
So it's finally out, Tight Ends: An Erotic Gay Football Anthology. It includes a story by lil' ol' me about two teammates who find love (and sex, but mostly love…and sex) in the locker room.
When I first got the email from the editrix, Lori Perkins, I thought, "Oh right, that's all well and good, but what do I know about football?" Turns out that I learned by Texas osmosis. Football is simply unavoidable here, whether you like it or not. Turns out, when there's actual sex involved? I like it j...

Fashion Blogger
Not the most auspicious start into the world of fashion blogging, but I know I'll always remember it. It is with great sadness that I put together a blog entry at my new Model Max home in memory of Alexander McQueen, one of my favorite designers. His passing leaves a big hole in my heart and visual gratification. I looked forward to his shows, particularly Couture.
The show scheduled for yesterday in New York's fashion week was cancelled and now there's rumor that his brand will go with him...

Inglorious Piracy
So, like many ebook writers/publishers, my work is being pirated. It's not in my nature to get overexcited about this, as I have a day job so I'm able to pay my bills. Plus, the majority of my scribblings are available for free online already. You could be quite tired of me as a writer long before you approach work you have to pay for, but I do appreciate anyone who throws a couple of bucks at keeping up with my newer work.
Part of me is pleased at at least my writing is being read. I write...

Reviews & Amuse
So, we had a really cute review on Bedknobs and Beanstalks from Tam's Reads. If you haven't picked the book up and have been thinking about it, it's still $1.79 for the ebook. I don't know when this sale will end, but if you thought you'd missed it, you didn't!
Now, on to things to amuse. Boyd Holbrook (one of my favorite male models) showed up in a Nifty Fifty article in the Style Magazine portion of the New York Times. I knew he'd got a bit part in "Milk" but did you know he got that part...

Merry Christmas to all
…and to all a good night.
Very good night to be me, anyway. Today Ravenous Romance released a new m/m anthology for only 99cents called I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus in which I have a little story in. It was a fun little story that came from the prompt the editor Lori Perkins sprang on us.
It's told in first person from the perspective of a very precocious little girl who worries that her daddy is cheating on her other daddy with Santa Claus.
The stories are all terribly endearing and for...

Slipstream Fic: We Were Warned
"$20.12," he said, and it sounded normal.
It sounded like he was just this normal guy at a normal gas station totaling up a normal amount with gas and cigarettes and a diet Pepsi. His lips were thick and dark, outlined in black in that way dark skin is, paling in the center. His lashes were long and his eyes were aggressively brown, like they had something to prove. Lizard-y. Reptilian. He almost seemed to glow under the yellow light. Behind him there were condoms, cigarettes, lotto tickets...
