Snippet Saturday-Take me away

It's time for a vacation. A getaway from it all. An exotic location–and here's where I have troubles, because what I think is exotic isn't to many others. Ah well. Here's a snippet for you from Stormchild- book 1 in the Pacific Passion series

These elements have no desire to be tamed…

As the new traveling doctor for the Pacific Inside Passage settlements, Matthew Jentry balances dual roles for his water-shifter people—caring for their health as a human-trained physician, and for their...

More 'book'shelf features

On Monday I showed the wolfie part of my bookcase trinkets. Here are the two for the Forces of Nature books- the glass one was for Tidal Wave, the blue dolphins–very appropriate for Whirlpool!

And here's for the Six Pack Ranch books. The cowboy boots showed up when Rocky Mountain Heat released, and the heart pin for Rocky Mountain Haven. I have to mention about the pin–it's NOT a broken heart, although Beth had a reason to have one, it's an OPEN heart, as she learns to love again.

The secret is out…D

I'll announce it later today.

Why yes, yes, I am teasing you all. It's something I'm good at, and haven't you always heard you're supposed to practice what you're good at? To keep in tip top form, right? ;)

But a hint? It's one of the sekrit things I mentioned I was working on during the mid-month update. And it's a NICE secret, that should make you happy. I'll be making an announcement on twitter first, and then sneaking in here. See you soon!

**ducks for cover**

IT'S LATER!!!–you...

My 'book' shelf

I've shared before that when I started writing my daughter decided since I wouldn't allow her to see some of the covers (naughty mommy to write such books…) she would get me a trinket for each, and I could pop them on the shelf that hubby and son made. It's been a way for the whole family to celebrate with me.

This week, I'm going to show you a few of the trinkets. We're kind of behind on a few, since I write too fast, and we're trying to find the 'perfect  ones'. I love that they can help me ...

Snippet Saturday-playlists

Today's theme is a tough one for me–I think I've mentioned before I don't listen to music as I write because…well, here's the confession. I got kicked out of typing class in high school. Yup, I was a trifle to rambunctious, and the teacher figured I could use the time better elsewhere. So did I, I headed outside and proceeded to work on my tan, but neither of us would imagine that years down the road I'd be wishing I knew how to touch-type!

I use a modified typing method–when I started...

Cover #17

Okay, this series and the covers, are just too adorable for words. Thanks to the wonderful April Martinez for going above and beyond the call of duty to make these hand-drawn covers!!!  I should be getting a release date soon for this book, which is #2 to it's partner Peerless. Two short and fun stories to make you smile.

Two sisters, one crown and a race to find true love… Or suffer the consequences. *Shudder* The Queendom.

Thalia does not want to become Queen. Balls and frills are not her...

Mid-Month update

Wow- on time this month!!

One thing that's kind of mixed up with all this work is me getting ready to attend RWA in Florida. I leave Monday, July 26, the same day my kids head to camp, so I'm pulling extra mom duties right now making sure they have everything they need, and that -I- have everything I need as well. My first big conference–I attended the Lori Foster event last year and loved it. This is a little more formal of an event, so we'll see how it goes. Umm, I have no shoes except...

One tiny thing

I'm working on a couple of projects right now, but the biggest thing I'm doing? Trying to sell my house. We've done all kinds of things that the experts suggest in terms of taking down some of the personal touches, and making the kitchen counters bare, and etc.

My house has never been so clean.

And you know what? I kind of like it. Okay, not having the toaster on the counter is a PITA, but for the rest, there are things that have migrated for one reason or another to places that I just don't...

Cover #16

Wow- #16!! Angie Waters again hits a winner with this cover. It's so…TJ! And if you read the blurb, you'll notice, TJ is the wolf as well, so the set up of the  picture is fabulous!

WOLF TRACKS

Coming October 26, 2010

Score one for the under dog…er…wolf.

Granite Lake Wolves, Book 4

TJ Lynus is a legend in Granite Lake, both for his easygoing demeanor—and his clumsiness. His carefree acceptance of his lot vanishes, though, when his position as best man brings him face to face with someone he...
