One Week of Wolves- Bianca D'Arc

Wow, what a week it's been, not only here on the blog, but in real life. My feet are tired, b=my brain is buzzing and my cheeks are tired from smiling so much–because I'm having such a great time at RWA.

So I'm going to turn it over right away to a sweet friend and awesome writer, who makes me warm inside with her support and enthusiasm. Having people like Bianca influence and be there for me over the past year…so wonderful.

Hi there! I'm Bianca D'Arc and I'm honored to be among those asked ...

One Week of Wolves-Snippet Saturday

Since it's the middle of the party celebrating the release of Under the Northern Lights on August 3rd, I thought I would have to skip Snippet Saturday–until I realized the theme of today was perfect.

Friendships.

One of the most fabulous parts of this journey has been the friendships I've made. People who I may never have met in real life, but online? BFF.

So to celebrate today I've got a few people to mention, but first a snippet from Wolf Games–and best friends Maggie and Pam.

"I've...

One Week of Wolves- Ann Aguirre

Ann Aguirre is one of those writers who makes me go 'Oooohhhhh…' and after reading one of her stories I find myself thinking back on parts. Some day I want to be able to write the layers within layers that she does. I also admire Ann for her ability to write in different style of genre, and she works very hard to make her stories very awesome. I like seeing that! :D Oh, and the kick-ass heroine in her romantic sci-fi series? I

Here's Ann:

So Viv invited me to guest blog. She...

One Week of Wolves- Moira Rogers

As release week has drawn closer, I've been enjoying the company of another werewolf writer–the dynamic duo that makes up Moira Rogers. We share lots of things, including an obsessive love for our mutual editor at Samhain, Anne Scott. Other little fun things? Bree and I love charts and stats, although she's much better at making them look pretty than I am. Bree and Donna write kick ass heroines, and their heroes often, but not always, like to blow stuff up–that's Donna's speciality. ;)

And as f...

One Week of Wolves- Lauren Dane

I've mentioned before that Lauren's Cascadia Wolves were one of the inspirations for me to start writing in the first place. That, and the fact I followed her to Samhain and spotted the call for humorous paranormal were the catalyst for what I'm celebrating in a week's time–my first print.

Since discovering Lauren's work, I've found myself fascinated with the wide variety of genres she's written. She's a National Bestseller who writes Futuristic, Contemp, and still continues to put out...

One Week of Wolves-Welcome!

Welcome! In one week's time my first print release will be out, and I'm beyond thrilled. My author's copies arrived, and I swear there is nothing like the feeling of holding a book I wrote! So to share a bit of the excitment with you, I've got a few guests coming in this week, and I'll be giving away some books.

First off, I have to announce that there was a pre-party event, where readers/bloggers etc  shared information about this week. The winner of the draw for a print copy of Under the...

Enroute to RWA

It's actually happening–I'm on my way to Florida and the Romance Writers Assoc conference. Coming from Western Canada, it's a bit of a trek, but I love to travel, even though I'm not arriving until very late east coast time.

Here's MY list of things I promise to do/not to do while at RWA.

#1- I give myslef permission to be excited to see authors I've read and I love. I also give myself permission to NOT feel like a dweeb when I'm not sure who the writer is someone else is drooling on. I don't k...
