SOLD!

I announced it at Heat Wave and on twitter, but to make it really official, I'd posting it here too.

Book 2 in the Six Pak Ranch, Rocky Mountain Haven, has been contracted by Liquid Silver Books. I expect a May-June release date.

:)

I need to tweak the blurb to include more about Daniel. This story has some emotional kick to it. Beth has a long way to go in terms of coming back into herself after many years of abuse, and Daniel is just the right man to be there to support her.

Cover #7

Oh yeah. Coming March 23

True love's path never did run smooth.

Granite Lake Wolves, Book 3

After seven years of total denial, Maggie Raynor's body—and her inner wolf—are in full revolt. Weak and shaky, she literally falls into the very large and capable arms of the Granite Lake Beta, Erik Costanov. The last thing she wants is a mate, particularly when just looking at another wolf scares her to death. And one as big and sexy as Erik? Really bad idea, no matter what her libido says.

Erik expected ...

Consider the future

We've crossed over into a new decade. I've crossed over into a new career/ hobby that makes me excited to get up every morning. My goals for 2010 are tinged in part by what I've learned over the past year, and coloured with the excitement of what I still want to learn.

The year is going to start out very busy. I have eight new books on the coming soon page that should all release before July 1st. I have two print books, one August and one December. So my first goal has to do with keeping in...

Heading into 2010

I think I need to start the year off right.  How about a research trip? Yes, it's true. I'm planning on writing a book set in Las Vegas, and this requires me to research the location/ setting/ all you can eat buffets.

Hubby and I are also going hit a couple of shows and wander the strip for a couple of days. I'll be taking lots of pictures, lots of notes, and down the road you'll have my take on a 'fish out of water' story with my small town heroine hitting Sin City.

In the meantime, it's a...

Snippet Saturday- You do ~what~ for a living?

Each week we travel to different author's blogs to catch a glimpse into one of their stories. The theme this week is unusual professions. I have lots of teachers, ranchers and other outdoorsy professions in my books, but Joshua is probably the most unusual so far.

from Tidal Wave.

Forces of Nature, Book 1

From her first kiss to her first sight of dolphins dancing on the waves, Alexia Colten has always held a special place in her heart for Jaffrey's Cove. Now that she's back to help her...

New Release- Jess Dee

So today Jess Dee's scroching hot menage releases and I'm going to tell you why you should try this book.

1. As usual, Jess's characters are THE most important thing happening in this book. Yes, there's sex, yes there's a steamy hot card card that morphs into more trouble than you can image, but damn it all, Jess never sits back and lets the characters just happen. She knows what the characters are worrying about, and it's so real…

2. LOVE all the poker references. Totally fun to try and spot...

What a difference a year makes

p8130140

Last December 31 I sat down and did a Top Ten list of things I'd enjoyed/learned about writing in 2008. I went back and re-read it. I also found the goals I'd set early Jan 09. So in the spirit of season, a little reflection and introspection.

2009 has been an amazing year. Seeing my first story get published was a thrill and a a half, and the excitement continued. I started up International Heat with fellow authors. We established a yahoo group. Through it all I wrote. Revised. Edited and...
