It's official

Well, we knew it was, but it's up on the coming soon pages at Samhain, so now I can relax. I love Erik! Angie Waters is a cover goddess…

True love's path never did run smooth.

Granite Lake Wolves, Book 3

After seven years of total denial, Maggie Raynor's body—and her inner wolf—are in full revolt. Weak and shaky, she literally falls into the very large and capable arms of the Granite Lake Beta, Erik Costanov. The last thing she wants is a mate, particularly when just looking at another wolf s...

The release of my first story at Ellora's cave is fast approaching. One week from now both my and Lexxie's latest will hit the bookshelves. Woohoo! I'll be posting a couple snippets as the day gets closer. Today- I'm writing wolfies…

Fluffy Bunny Readers Unite!

I've made mention of this before, but I'm a Fluffy Bunny Reader. Things get too scary, and I'm gone. That doesn't mean all my books have to be Rainbow Bright and Sweet Ponies, but instead of having the sex behind the closed door, I'd like the violence there.

In honour of this trait my good friend Valerie Tibbs and I have formed a new society. As founding members we hereby swear to do our best to uphold our right to read awesome tales that make us happy without the icky scenes that freak us...

Snippet Saturday- Giggle. Snort. BRAHAHA

Some thing to cheer you up? The theme today is humorous, and it was actually hard to find a snippet because there are a lot of one liners and funny moments, but they are set in the whole. Still, I love this scene from Wolf Signs, simply because it's so…TJ…. Enjoy.

"No, Robyn, it's true. We're able to turn into wolves."

Prove it. She leaned back in her chair and stared at them mockingly.

The two men exchanged glances.

What? You need a full moon?

Both men dropped their heads into their...

Woot!

Okay, enough whining, I'm going to go back to celebrating. Finished galleys off my to-so list.

Galleys are the final chance I get to look over the story before it goes to print. I was doing the galleys for Under the Northern Lights, the anthology of Wolf Signs and Wolf Flight that will be out in August. I had a blast re-reading and examining every word. Two things struck me.

1. My editor at Samhain, Anne Scott, is amazing. Yes, there were a number of things I had to fix in Wolf Signs, totally n...

What's Up?

It's the middle of the week and I'm looking at a to-do list that has such a variety of items on it, I'm not sure where to start.

And that's perhaps one of the blessings and curses of being a beginner writer. Not only do I get to write, I get to plan promo, do edits, research, chat with readers and writers, write synopsis, critique work for my writer friends, deal with pirates (grrrr), revise work, go through galleys, blog, tidy up the website, do more promo, order goodies for conferences…

Somet...

Cover #8

Oh yes…. One 'tweak' needed (see if you can spot it) but isn't this lovely?

Coming February 10, 2010 from Ellora's Cave

How many layers of deception are there in space?

When a trade negotiation goes wrong, Melina Davenport is sure she'll end up either a causality of war or a sex slave. Discovering one of her missing partners, Trev, is the new leader of the rebels who have captured her adds insult to injury. And what the hell does he think he's doing, ripping her clothes away and touching her in ...

Snippet Saturday-Who was that again?

Who was that masked man? Oh wait, wrong snippet. Today we're talking about mistaken identities and there's a lovely one in Wolf Flight. Enjoy!

——————

Keil met them at the front foyer and motioned for his Beta to stand watch.

"You're making me nervous. Is something wrong?" Tad asked, glancing around the empty space. He didn't see any trouble but something was odd about the way Keil looked at him.

Keil put a reassuring hand on his shoulder and led them to some overstuffed chairs at the side of the ...

Fabulous Friday

One last guest blog this week–at The Romance Studio's blue pages. Tomorrow I'll be joining in with the Snippet Saturday crew again and it's a case of mistaken identity. Come and take a peek at excerpts from a variety of  best selling authors.

So what's fabulous?

Oh, I want to show you sooooo badly, but I can't. Yet. I got the draft cover for Claiming Derryn, coming out February 10, from Ellora's Cave.

Very. Very. Perfect. And HAWT!

Hopefully by next week. Other things of note, Rocky Mountain...

The day after…

And I'm still excited. That's a good thing, right?

Today you can stop by my good friend Leah Braemel's to hear a little more about Turn It On, plus I posted some of my favorite versions of Pride and Prejudice at the Samhellion.

And since it is Wednesday, and that technically IS Hunk Day… have a good one. I'll be back tomorrow with some other news
