Snippet Saturday- Arrivals
From Wolf Flight, Missy's arrival back in the north, seeking help.
———-
Missy took a deep breath, looking around the small airfield with interest while she let the butterflies settle. Her journey over the past months had led her in a full circle, returning her to old stomping grounds. She'd grown up in Whitehorse, lived in the north until she was sixteen. How strange the solution to the horror hanging over her head might be found here.
She stared at the doors to the shop.
Ten years.
Ten years...

Excellent read- Love's Alchemy
She holds the key to unlock his past—or unleash hell.
I have to stop. The cover is perfect. His eyes are perfect. Just let me sit here for a while and contemplate the perfection of this cover before I tell you why the book under the cover is worth checking out.
Okay now that I can concentrate again…
I met the author, Ciar, just over a year ago when I started my ebook adventure. I was devouring every paranormal story I could get my hands on, and found Ciar wrote a fascinating twist of real life m...

Tuesday Tidbit
A tidbit from one of my work in progress, Rocky Mountain High

He stood and peeked in the window. "You need to go and get them in bed?"
She nodded. "They'll start on their own, but they'll get distracted soon."
Daniel smiled. "I think my Mama used to say it was like trying to herd cats to get us all in bed on time. I won't keep you long, but…" He reached for her hand, linking his fingers in hers. She swallowed hard. Oh lord, it felt so good and scared her mindless. She stood, as still as a...

Wip update
It's the middle of the month and time to update progress.
I feel like I'm moving forward every time I do this, so it's a good thing to do!
I've hit the magical halfway point on book two in the cowboys, but something just isn't sitting right. It's a very emotional story right now, and I'm just not feeling the flow happening. So I've decided to put it aside for alittle while and try to clear my head by working a new direction. I still hope to have this done by the end of the year, just...

Snippet Saturday- Black Moment
Welcome to Snippet Saturday- a chance to read a little tidbit from some books, try on the writer's style and get intrigued.
My offering toward our theme of Black Moments comes from my paranormal menage Tidal Wave. It's not THE black moment, but it's dark grey…

Alexia glanced uneasily around the room, her body tightening and growing rigid. Joshua's stomach fell as he recognized the emotional turmoil flashing through her. She was ready to lay down the law and it wasn't going to be pretty.
"I've ...

New Release- Jess Dee
A past with three, a future for two…
Full disclosure: I love Jess Dee . She was one of the first writers I found when I discovered ebooks. After reading all her books, I screwed up my courage to contact her and the rest, as they say, is history. Why she has to live in Australia when I'm in Canada is one of those 'The Gods must Be Laughing' things, 'cause I swear we'd be over at each other's houses daily if we could.
The story that made me brave enough to contact her was A Question Of Trust...

Nano Nano
No, not an invation of Mork and Mindy (although I now have a deep desire to go and watch a few shows to see if they are as bad as I remember…)
I did sign up for Nano–the month long writing challenge. I'm not planning on killing myself to actually finish, but wanted to be there for the new people who have joined in from my community.
You know what? I'm having a blast. Again.
So I'm off now to add a few more words to the daily count. Yeha–cowboys are rolling!
