Building...

I'm building attraction today--can I attract you to some fun bedtime reading for Christmas in Bethlehem's Baby? Or perhaps Monique McDonnell's more adult romantic comedy, Building Attraction, is more your kind of thing. Of course, there's no rule against being attracted to more than one genre, and I'd love it if you'd take a serious look at both books-one for the kids and one for you. But today is Building Attraction's day, and I'm delighted to offer an excerpt from Monique's novel, in hopes...

Nymphs in Winter

Today I'm featuring Winter Swans, by Danica Winters, third in the author's Nymph series. Together with The Nymph's Labyrinth and Montana Mustangs, this series offers intriguingly different paranormal romance, and a lovely look at a part of the country I've rarely visited.
[image error] I recently read all three books in the series, and today I'll be posting my reviews of them, one by one... so come back later to read more...

My Review of Nymph's Labyrinth:

Good news, bad news, and intermediate news... plus book reviews

The good news is:
Divide by Zero, Infinite Sum, and Imaginary Numbers may all soon have a home. A publisher has promised to send me a contract, so watch this space... or hold your hands over your ears so my shrieks of disbelieving joy when I receive it won't deafen you.The intermediate news is:
Our garage door is mended, but the garage door guy says we'll need to replace it soon. Is that like saying something "nearly edited"? I plan to replace two stories in Nazareth Neighbors tonight, but apar...

When mystery turns to romance

Today I get to interview author Aaron Paul Lazar right here on my blog. I first (virtually) met Aaron on the Gather.com website. He was one of those people who wrote real books and had a real publisher--he was who I wanted to be. And he wrote great blogposts too. I'd listen to videos of him reading his books and think "I've really got to read that." And then, by some curious chance, I got the chance to read a book called Mazurka, one of his Gus LeGarde mystery series, and I was hooked. Since...
